At that moment, Lin Feng arrived at Yang Qiniang’s office.
Inside the office, everyone was gathered around a large computer monitor, completely focused on the trends of two stocks.
Beads of cold sweat had even formed on Yang Qiniang’s forehead.
"You look tense. How are things going?"
Lin Feng walked over and patted Yang Qiniang on the shoulder.
Yang Qiniang jumped, startled by the touch.
"Brother Feng, you scared me to death! I’m on edge here!"
Yang Qiniang clutched at his chest.
Lin Feng smiled and glanced at the stock trends on the screen.
It was just as he expected, matching the trend prediction chart the system had given him.
He just wasn’t sure at what price point Yang Qiniang had bought in.
"Have you made any trades in the past two days?"
Lin Feng asked casually.
Yang Qiniang shook his head. "Maybe it’s because this is my first time investing, but I haven’t been in a rush to trade."
"But my emotions have been all over the place these last two days! A real roller coaster!"
"I can’t be as calm as you, Brother Feng!"
Yang Qiniang said with a wry smile.
Lin Feng smiled and patted Yang Qiniang’s shoulder. "You’re just getting started. After you’ve done this a few more times, you’ll get used to it."
"Do you plan to sell this stock today?"
Lin Feng asked tactfully.
Yang Qiniang glanced at the stock’s current trend, then said hesitantly, "I’ll wait for it to go up a little more, then I’ll sell!"
"It’s already Friday. I don’t think I can afford to risk holding it over the weekend."
Lin Feng smiled and nodded. "That’s not a bad idea. It’s smart to know when to pull out."
After a bit more small talk with Yang Qiniang, Lin Feng turned and left.
According to the stock trend prediction in his head, Lin Feng knew this stock would reach a peak around the time the market closed this afternoon.
Yang Qiniang’s current position was still pretty good.
The stock was still on an upward climb.
If Yang Qiniang was really as conservative as he claimed...
...and sold after it rose a little more...
...he would still make a profit.
But if Yang Qiniang got greedy and insisted on waiting for the absolute peak...
...then by the time the market closed, he’d be wiped out.
’With something like this, you can’t be too greedy.’
Whether he won or lost, when Lin Feng gave his brother Yang Qiniang those fifty million to play with, he never expected him to make a fortune.
He just hoped Yang Qiniang would learn something from the experience.
Not long after returning to his office, Lin Feng received a message from Su Ruoxi.
Because Lin Feng had been busy with his investments for the past two days, he hadn’t been able to keep up with what was happening with Lin Xiaoman.
After finding out, Su Ruoxi had taken the initiative to tell him, "Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on things with Xiaoman."
Su Ruoxi also understood how the stock market worked.
She knew that things usually quieted down on Fridays.
That’s why she had sent the message now.
Lin Feng skimmed the message. There wasn’t anything major.
It was just that after careful consideration, Lin Xiaoman had signed a contract with the streaming platform.
However, thanks to Lin Feng’s advice, Lin Xiaoman had naturally been able to negotiate a much better deal with them.
Moreover, the excellent traffic performance of Lin Xiaoman’s stream recently had greatly impressed the streaming company.
This was mainly because it was rare for a newcomer’s stream to explode in popularity like Lin Xiaoman’s had.
This led the company to realize that Lin Xiaoman had incredible potential.
"’Xiaoman signed with them, securing a contract on par with a five-million-yuan streamer.’"
"’And since Xiaoman doesn’t want to dedicate too much of her time to the platform for now...’"
"’...the platform made some adjustments to her schedule requirements.’"
"’I think Xiaoman is in a really good place right now.’"
As Su Ruoxi was messaging Lin Feng, she found a video online and forwarded it to him.
"’This is a recording of Xiaoman’s last makeup stream. One of her fans posted it online.’"
"’Unexpectedly, it went viral and got a million views.’"
Her tone was full of praise.
Lin Feng smiled. "Fans? That little rascal has fans already?"
Su Ruoxi sent a nodding emoji. "Of course. Xiaoman’s makeup skills are quite good."
"’She’s definitely gained a lot of fans over her last few streams.’"
"’And plenty of people have been sending her gifts during the streams, too!’"
’Now that he thought about it, this path was truly a perfect fit for Xiaoman.’
After his chat with Su Ruoxi, Lin Feng decided to give Lin Xiaoman a call.
"Xiaoman, your sister-in-law tells me your career is going pretty well!"
Lin Feng’s voice held a teasing tone.
Lin Xiaoman’s voice swelled with pride. "Of course it is! You seem to be forgetting who your little sister is."
"’Brother, I’m telling you, I didn’t even know Mom and Dad had started watching my streams!’"
"’I didn’t think they’d even understand it, but they registered an account and sent me a gift the other day!’"
A happy chuckle was evident in Lin Xiaoman’s voice as she spoke.
Lin Feng was a bit surprised, too.
"’I didn’t think they were so trendy!’"
"’Oh, right. About that storefront I bought for the family...’"
Lin Xiaoman knew what he was going to ask before he could even finish.
"’Speaking of the shop, it’s been a real blessing.’"
"’You have no idea how seriously Mom and Dad took it at first. They tried to run the whole thing by themselves!’"
"’But business was so crazy that they had to give up after just two days.’"
"’Now we have seven employees at the shop, so I think Mom and Dad have a lot of free time.’"
"’How else would they have time to watch my streams?’"
Lin Xiaoman’s voice was filled with mirth.
It was clear that life for the Lin Family had changed dramatically.
Lin Feng didn’t ask about how the shop was doing financially.
He knew that in such a bustling commercial plaza, business was bound to be good.
’This was good. It would let his parents slowly adapt to the relaxed life of being business owners.’
’Their mindsets would gradually change as well.’
’For instance, they’d never had any exposure to live streaming before, but now they were sending virtual gifts.’
"’You’re something of a public figure now, so you need to be careful.’"
Lin Feng reminded his sister seriously before ending the call.
Lin Xiaoman had been adapting to her new life recently, so his words resonated deeply with her.
"’Don’t worry, Brother.’"
"’I know what comes with this job.’"
Lin Xiaoman’s voice was steady as she said this at the end of the call.
Lin Feng suddenly felt that his little sister had grown up.
’It was a nice feeling.’
「Meanwhile.」
When Yang Qiniang took the bank card containing the lucky money his sister had painstakingly saved over the years, he had a similar feeling.
’My little sister has finally grown up!’
’She’s not asking me for spending money anymore.’
’Instead, she’s handing over her hidden savings and lucky money to her big brother.’
Yang Qiniang patted Yang Qingqing’s head, looking pleased. "I never thought my dear sister would be so generous one day!"
Yang Qingqing looked at Yang Qiniang’s pleased expression and the way he was clutching the card for dear life.
Her eyes narrowed.
She suddenly tried to snatch the bank card back from his hand.
"What are you doing?"
"’Trying to take back a gift you already gave me!’"
Yang Qiniang clutched the bank card and started running around the room.
Yang Qingqing chased after him, grinding her teeth.
"’That card has all the lucky money I painstakingly saved!’"
"’I thought you were going bankrupt, so I was lending it to you to help you out!’"
"’But now I think I was wrong! You don’t look like you’re going bankrupt at all!’"
Yang Qingqing pouted.
Yang Qiniang held the bank card high above his head, keeping it out of Yang Qingqing’s reach.
"’What makes you think I’m going bankrupt?’"
Seeing her brother’s confused expression, Yang Qingqing pouted. "Look how dejected you were the other day."
"’I figure you’re not cut out for investing. Did you lose a lot of money?’"
Yang Qiniang was about to object, but then he remembered that he really had been in a slump recently.
It wasn’t unreasonable for his sister to misunderstand.
Holding the bank card in his hand, Yang Qiniang swallowed the words that were on the tip of his tongue.
Then, Yang Qiniang delivered the only award-worthy acting performance of his life:
"’I can’t believe how smart my little sister is, seeing through me in an instant.’"
"’Your big brother might not be able to support you anymore... I won’t be able to buy you makeup or skincare products!’"
He looked utterly dejected.
Yang Qingqing blinked, skeptical. "Really? You seemed to be in a pretty good mood when you got home today."
Yang Qiniang rubbed his brow. "I didn’t want you to find out, but it seems I can’t hide it any longer."
Yang Qingqing fell for it...
After a moment’s hesitation, she said, "Well, if that’s the case... you can hold onto the bank card for now."
Looking deeply moved, Yang Qiniang accepted the card. He then turned, went back to his room, and flopped onto his bed, laughing uncontrollably.
For years, Yang Qiniang had always been the one giving things to his sister.
And while he had always done so willingly, this rare victory filled Yang Qiniang’s heart with joy.
However, Yang Qiniang didn’t plan on keeping the bank card for himself.
After his recent experience, Yang Qiniang understood something.
Lin Feng’s investment ability was the real deal.
’In a market like this, Lin Feng’s investment ability was terrifyingly good.’
’Meanwhile, a rookie like him still had so much to learn.’
Since his sister’s private savings were now in his hands, Yang Qiniang decided to give the money from the card to Lin Feng.
"’Anyway, Lin Feng’s judgment is spot on. I’ll just let him invest the money from this card...’"
"’By the time I give it back to her, there might be a lot more money in it.’"
Having made up his mind, Yang Qiniang immediately checked the card’s balance.
He was shocked to find that Qingqing, that little rascal, had saved up quite a bit of money over the years.
There was nearly six million yuan in the account.
Yang Qiniang immediately transferred all the money to Lin Feng’s account.
"’Brother Feng, I’m entrusting my sister’s money to you!’"
Late that night, Lin Feng saw a deposit of several million appear in his account.
At first, he wondered where the money had come from.
A closer look revealed it was from Yang Qiniang.
"’No problem. You know you can trust my skills.’"
Lin Feng messaged back.
It was already the early hours of the morning.
The reason Lin Feng was still awake was that he was waiting for a particular news story.
A story that, in his opinion, was extremely important.
Once this news broke, it would send massive shockwaves through the stock market next week.
At three o’clock in the morning, Lin Feng finally saw the news story get published.
He took a quick look at the online public opinion surrounding it.
Only then did Lin Feng put down his laptop.
"’By tomorrow morning, most people will have seen this news.’"
