The moment Mu Xianling and the other two women saw Xiaofu’s figure and knew he had caught up, they had already prepared for death.

Mu Xianling and the other two women froze, their eyes wide with terror as they watched Xiaofu continue his slow approach. They never imagined he could have detected and thwarted their swift, sudden attempt. ’What now?’
None of them had considered what they would do if they failed to die. Just fall into his demonic clutches and suffer his abuse?
No, that was something they could never accept! Just then, Mi Lu reacted with lightning speed. The moment their suicide was thwarted, she immediately pulled out a Help Stone. "Quick, crush the Help Stone!" she urged Mu Xianling and Tang Shu. "Quick, it’s our only chance!"
Hearing her, Mu Xianling and Tang Shu snapped back to reality and hurriedly fumbled for their own Help Stones...

"Tang Yi, where are you!" Mi Lu cried out in despair.
Only Mu Xianling remained silent, biting her lip and glaring daggers at Xiaofu. If looks could kill, her stare would have slain him ten thousand times over.
