The Demon Beast was like a small mountain. When Tang Yi saw it, it was drinking from the edge of the lake.
The Demon Beast stood over five meters tall. It had two sharp horns on its head—one long, one short—and the body of an ox with four sturdy limbs. Its spine bulged like a small hill, and its back was covered in large, shimmering scales.
It looked a bit like a large rhinoceros from Earth, but its massive body was more like that of a giant elephant, making it even more terrifying than any rhinoceros on Earth!
Still surprised, Tang Yi cast his Celestial Eye Technique on it.

The mere thought was terrifying to Tang Yi.
This Kedo Beast seemed obviously stronger than the Golden-blooded Extreme Shadow Bird he had encountered before. However, the system’s assessment listed its threat as only Middle Level—even lower than the Golden-blooded Extreme Shadow Bird. This surprised Tang Yi a little.

Compared to the Golden-blooded Extreme Shadow Bird, the Kedo Beast had a much more volatile temperament.
As a Level 5 Demon Beast, it was extremely territorial. It didn’t matter if the intruder was human or beast; if anything invaded its territory, it would immediately attack and crush the trespasser into a meat paste.
This also explained why Tang Yi hadn’t encountered a single Demon Beast for half the day. He had already entered the Kedo Beast’s territory, and the Kedo Beast did not tolerate the presence of any other humans or beasts.
