“You like it that much?”
“Mmhmm!”
Guru nodded enthusiastically, her chubby cheeks glowing red.
The box was finally unwrapped, revealing a children’s tool workbench set.
“Owaaaa—!”
While Jurim moved the workbench to a corner of his study, Guru followed behind in a flurry, hugging the toy box tightly.
“Gwu’s wowkroom~”
Guru sang a tune she made up on the spot, bubbling with excitement.
Mephisto, wobbling behind her after waking up at dawn, let out a beep-beep to harmonize.
And the reason Guru was in such a good mood today was...!
‘Gwu’s gettin’ a wowkbench!’
Until now, Guru had crafted wherever she could—her room, the Guildmastuh’s office, even the dining table.
But now, for the first time, she had a real designated workspace.
It all started when Jurim asked, “Why don’t you tell your dad?” and Guru answered, “It’s fun!”
After that, Jurim mulled something over for a while before saying, “Then from now on, do it in front of your dad.”
If she wouldn’t say anything, at least he wanted her to do it safely, where he could see.
“Den I’ww do it in da office?”
Since Jurim usually spent his time in the Guildmastuh’s office, they’d need to place the workbench there to keep her in sight—
“Nope, too noticeable.”
The Guildmastuh’s office was a high-traffic area.
If the toys Guru tinkered with there ended up turning into something like a drone and made the news again, they wouldn’t be able to cover it up so easily this time.
So for practical reasons, they compromised on a new location—Jurim’s study.
And so, the children’s workbench was set up inside Jurim’s private study.
It was custom-made by a renowned toy craftsman, delicately assembled from fine wood and plastic.
Sized perfectly for a child, the workbench’s shelves held a drill, screwdriver, saw, monkey wrench, hammer, and an elephant-shaped vacuum.
‘Dis is gonna be fun!’
Guru’s eyes sparkled as she placed her toy box next to the bench. Jurim then helped her put on a safety helmet and goggles.
Oh! Now she was a weaw kiddie cwaftsman! Guru spread her arms wide and spun in place.
“Twans-fowm!”
Jurim chuckled and pressed both her cheeks with his hands.
“You look perfect.”
“Heehee.”
Soaking up the affection, Guru immediately sat down at the workbench.
Jurim reviewed documents on his tablet, occasionally glancing sideways at her.
The child stared seriously at the tools on the shelf, then grabbed the drill with confidence.
Looked like she wanted to drill into a toy magic wand.
Click. The button was pressed, and the blunt tip began to whirr with a soft brrrrr.
But—
“Umm?”
The force was barely stronger than a handheld fan. Guru tilted her head.
Mephisto stretched out his face and tilted his head the other way.
Guru kept pressing the drill button repeatedly before her mouth formed a small triangle and her brow scrunched.
“Dis is a toy......”
“Of course it is.”
No one in their right mind would hand real power tools to a five-year-old.
Looking pouty, Guru seemed about to activate a skill, then picked the drill back up—
“Oooooonnng—”
—she made the sound herself.
The thick plastic suddenly yielded like tofu, drilling smoothly.
Jurim pressed a hand to his forehead. He was very glad he’d told her to do everything in front of him from now on.
Just imagining her doing things like that on her own gave him chills.
“Oooooonnng— toot-toot-toot-toot—”
Jurim set his tablet down on his knee, rested his chin on his hand, and barely managed to suppress a laugh as he watched Guru play with the tools.
Who knew how much time passed like that?
Guru, having pulled out several toys and worked on them for a while, finally pulled off her goggles and hugged her creations to her chest with a big goofy smile.
She must’ve made some items she was proud of.
Soon she started wrapping them up nicely.
“You’re wrapping them?”
“Yeshh, dey gifts!”
“Not for you to play with?”
Nod nod.
Guru pouted, remembering the guild members who only ever wanted Kazuki’s items.
“It’s no fun if Gwu pways awone. It’d be gweat if da unnies an’ oppaws wuvved it... more den Sabbuu’s stuff......”
Jurim let out a soft laugh at her muttered add-on.
“One day, they ➤ NоvеIight ➤ (Read more on our source) will. So there’s no need to rush.”
Guru grinned and nodded, then clenched both fists with determination.
“Gwu is pwaacticin’ wight now!”
Because becoming a better crafter than Sabbuu meant she needed lots of training!
Step one in her master plan:
After handing out sample items like at a taste-testing corner, Guru would collect firsthand reviews.
At Onion Market, reading and responding to reviews had helped her improve her designs and spike sales.
If she could use that same method to refine her items again, she might be able to make something incredible.
‘Gwu’s so smart!’
A few days later, Guru handed out her gifts with a big smile to the unnies, oppaws, and Woojoo.
She made sure to say: “Pwease weave a weview too!”
And it didn’t take long before reviews started appearing on Guru’s message threads.

Looks like the debuff procs one outta three times?
My bros were like WHAT IS THAT and now they won’t shut up about trying it themselvesʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ
Told ‘em it was a gift from Jjapso lol
Oh, why only 4 stars?
It’s too small... and short, so you gotta get super close or throw it. The tip is blunt, so it’s kinda hard to stab with.
I’m a melee DPS, ya know (; ́・∀・)ゝ ́

Flavor’s... alright. Pretty decent.
Performance? Yeah. Seems strong.
Just touching side dishes with chopsticks made plants grow, so... I’d say it’s working.
...Haven’t been able to eat dinner yet, though. Still fine.
Milk bingsu? That one doesn’t grow, right?
Nah, I’ll come. Just make sure there’s no fruit.
