“No, we’re short on potions too. I don’t even know if our reserve stock will last a month. Our patients are children, so we need them even more. Do you know how delicate their skin is? What do you mean we’re hoarding—how could you say something like that?!”
Kim Siran, Director of the RCC Foundation Children’s Hospital, snapped at the person on the other end before hanging up.
“This is fucking ridiculous!”
She huffed, stuffing her phone into the pocket of her coat.
It had already been ten years since the Great Cataclysm.
Dungeon by-products had long since become an integral part of everyday life, and potions were practically essential in trauma care and surgery.
But with so much still unknown about dungeons and the System, people were flailing in panic instead of responding calmly in times of crisis.
With a frustrated grunt, she slammed the door to the director’s office shut.
She knew everyone was under pressure, but to suspect a children’s hospital?
Frowning sharply, she stepped inside—then suddenly froze at the sight before her.
Five delivery boxes were stacked on her desk. But something was off. None of them had shipping labels.
No addresses, no sender—just boxes sitting there.
Where did these come from?
She thought about asking her assistant but shrugged it off. Probably nothing.
With an uninterested sigh, Kim Siran opened one of the boxes.
And then she muttered, almost groaning in disbelief.
“...What the hell is this?”
Inside was something completely unexpected.
Syrup bottles—clearly made for children.
“Huh? Huh?!”
As she picked up the box full of syrup bottles, a small slip of paper fluttered down, no bigger than her palm.
The handwriting was squiggly, like a child had written it.
[I am Santa.
I give gifts to good people.
Dear good doctor,
Please heal children with this potion.
—Santa G]
She let out a breathy chuckle at the adorable writing and message.
One of our little patients must’ve seen a news article and dropped this off?
With potion shortages making headlines everywhere, maybe some kid had gotten worried.
“Wow, that’s a lot too.”
She moved the box—packed full of syrup bottles—off to the side.
They might not be useful as actual medicine, but her previously simmering frustration had cooled into something warm and fuzzy.
“You snuck this in, huh? I’ll let it slide—because that was just too sweet.”
But... what was she supposed to do with all of it?
There was something inside the bottles—maybe just water?
She picked one up.
Even though she was only F-Rank, she was still an awakened. Absentmindedly, she checked the info window—and sure enough, a popup appeared.
[Excellent Strawberry Syrup (C)]
Restores external wounds and stamina.
“...Huh?”
Kim Siran’s jaw dropped. She blinked several times, but the window didn’t vanish.
“For real...?”
In a rush, she tore open all the boxes.
All potions.
Because the syrup bottles were small, the boxes weren’t particularly huge—but the quantity inside was staggering.
As she checked each one, she was about to scream when she stopped herself and clamped her mouth shut.
“All of them?!”
Donating all of this, in a crisis like this? She could hardly believe it even as she stared at it.
And then—something even more unbelievable.
She was flipping the note over, wondering if the donor had left anything else, when she spotted it:
The emblem of Hyeonak.
“Hyeonak...?!”
All of this came from that guild?!
The one constantly vilified for being selfish and self-serving?
That same guild, notorious for being so cold and unlikable that even when they did donate, people called it a PR stunt—and when they didn’t, they got slammed anyway.
It was a guild from such a different world than hers that she had always figured they probably deserved the hate.
“HYEONAAAK!!”
Kim Siran let out a scream so shrill that a head nurse passing by flung open the office door in a panic.
“Director?! Are you all right?!”
She froze at the sight of the director—arms raised, clutching bottles of syrup, with a wild expression on her ❖ Nоvеlight ❖ (Exclusive on Nоvеlight) face.
Why was such a young hospital director suddenly acting like she’d lost her mind...?
Steadying herself, the nurse finally asked,
“Wh-What... is all this?”
Kim Siran answered, face flushed with excitement.
“Potions.”
“...What?”
The nurse stared in a daze.
“P-Potions?”
She looked like she didn’t believe it either.
Kim Siran nodded like she totally understood. That reaction made sense.
“Yeah, these are all potions. Move them to the pharmacy storage right away. Announce to the hospital that we’ve received potion stock. And—wait, what am I doing?”
Just as she was about to leave with the nurse, she pulled out her phone and called a journalist.
“Reporter Yoon!”
[Gift from an Anonymous Santa—Will the Medical Potion Shortage Ease? ... NBC Today Top News]
With the silver-light grass supply chain collapsed, potion shortages have become a national concern.
But thanks to an early Christmas gift from Santa, hospitals across the country are breathing a little easier.
Reporter Yoon Yesul brings us the story.
An anonymous Santa is making headlines by donating potions to hospitals across the nation, all struggling with supply shortages.
(CCTV footage of figures dressed as Santa Claus carrying boxes into a hospital)
Last week, at the RCC Foundation Children’s Hospital director’s office—
Figures dressed as Santa are seen bringing in boxes before quickly leaving the premises.
Later, the hospital director enters and opens the boxes—discovering they’re all syrup-style potions.
Kim Siran (Hospital Director): I was stunned. They were all potions...
Although hospital staff tried to contact the donor to express their gratitude, the gift-giver remained anonymous.
(CCTV footage shows Santas delivering boxes to various hospitals)
The anonymous Santa hasn’t stopped—the donations continue daily. Major hospitals across the country have now received gifts.
Yoo Nari (patient guardian): My baby had to go in for emergency surgery, and I was terrified because of the potion shortage. I don’t even know how to thank them...
Kim Siran (Hospital Director): The quality’s actually better than the standard potions we’ve been using, so even a small amount has the same effect as a full bottle...
Now, the medical field dares to hope that the potion crisis may finally be turning a corner.

How does she look that good at her age? Must’ve taken great care of herself.
What would you say about a boyfriend 20 years younger?

What does this have to do with Fake Saw lol the infiltration is unreal
Even if he’s some furry goblin shut-in who lives online, I love you Fake Saw hyung!
