— Serhiiii...!
Guru grabbed the hem of Serhi’s coat as he ran after the camera crew. Her tiny hand pleaded with him to do something.
But Serhi just hugged her tightly and said,
“I only know how to kill things like that...”
He didn’t know how to subdue without killing.
All Serhi had ever done was build, break, and destroy.
“What’s going on here? Hunter Lee Taemin’s long past his Awakening, so it can’t be a failed one! We’re still trying to assess the situation!”
As BJ Chabu gave an impassioned report from a safe distance, Serhi bit his lip in frustration.
And yet—Choi Hyeonwoo kept trying to reach Taemin, even as he was buffeted by waves of unstable mana.
Guru silently watched him from behind.
She had assumed he was a bad person.
But Choi Hyeonwoo was still reaching out ⊛ Nоvеlιght ⊛ (Read the full story) to Taemin—someone everyone else had already given up on.
— Huff...!
Guru took a deep breath in and tapped Serhi’s shoulder to let her down.
As he set her gently on the ground, she shut her eyes tightly and pressed her watch hard.
“...? What are you doing?”
'Gettin’ weady to get scowded.'
Scolded for what? Serhi’s confusion vanished in an instant.
SHIVER—
An overwhelming surge of mana exploded into existence—enough to set off primal instinct.
A terror so immense, it made him feel like nothing but dust.
And in the next moment—Taemin’s rampaging mana cut off completely, as if someone had flipped a switch.
Then, a dome of mana formed around them—like the world had entered a vacuum.
Everyone fell silent, all eyes turning to the man who had suddenly appeared.
The man strode toward Taemin. His long, black-gloved hand reached out and cupped the boy’s forehead.
Thud.
Taemin’s eyes fluttered shut and he collapsed—caught mid-fall by the tall man’s arms.
The man who had subdued a rampaging Hunter with one hand turned to the rest and spoke calmly:
“Let’s wrap the shoot here. Hyeonak will be withdrawing first.”
It was Jurim.
'So that’s On Jurim...'
Everyone who could sense mana stared at him the same way. The sheer scale of his power inspired reverence just through presence alone.
And yet, Jurim looked down at the camera crew with clear annoyance.
Behind one cameraman’s leg, a half-finished teddy bear costume poked out its head.
Its drooping ears and furrowed brows said it all—it knew it had messed up.
Jurim jerked his chin. The bear costume hesitantly stepped forward.
Then, nervously fidgeting with its paws, it began to approach—only for Chabu to block its path.
Jurim raised an eyebrow.
“Just a moment! One question, Guildmastuh On! Is Hunter Serhi really Hyeonak’s fourth S-Rank?!”
Now in the spotlight, Serhi blinked, visibly unamused.
Jurim stared at him flatly, as if to say, So you’re part of this mess too?
Shit. I’m totally getting scolded. Serhi kicked a rock and gave a vague answer.
“...Sure.”
“So—so that’s a yes? Right?!”
As Chabu pressed for a clear response, a crack formed in Jurim’s brow as he hoisted Taemin like luggage.
“You got some kind of fetish for hearing answers twice? Annoying.”
With his other arm, he gently picked up the half-finished teddy bear costume.
Even in the face of Jurim’s sharp retort, BJ Chabu pumped his fist into the air.
“SSSSSS-RANK!!! SERHI IS ESS-SSS-RANK!!!”
“For real?! That’s insane!”
Ignoring the shouting Chabu and excited crew, Jurim looked at Serhi and sneered.
“Not telling an adult first—real responsible, huh?”
“No, I, uh...”
“No games for you. Indefinitely.”
“Ah...!”
Then, turning away from Serhi before he could protest, Jurim addressed the bear costume.
“No TV for you.”
Hing...!
And with that, Jurim walked off, the two guilty parties trudging after him.
Behind them, BJ Chabu’s voice rang out in wild excitement.
“Did you hear that, folks?! The fourth S-Rank! Insane! Hyeonak now has four S-Ranks! Until now, only the U.S., China, and Germany had guilds with four S-Ranks! Hyeonak’s just broken through that ceiling!”
The chat exploded.

Admin: “Talk shit about Guru’s Owner and you get vaporized”
[Title: Where the fuck are all the Actors who said Serhi was F-Rank?]
I always trusted hyung Jurim and Serhi.
You think Hyeonak picks members based on looks?
Look how they protected a minor by keeping his rank hidden.
This is what ranker-class dignity looks like.

— YareYarePrincessJurim: Praise be to Ju-men 🙏
— GodIsMyDaddy: Who said F-rank?! WHO SAID IT
— AllIHaveIsCareer: Should I just slam my head on the ground here? 😭 I didn’t understand the grand design of KingGodEmperorJurim...
— SerhiSlurper: yes @GidanIsTheFuture bring that guy too, let him bow with us
— Hakseoteoz: Is this the dignity of World’s Best Hunter?
Lately, I really feel like hyung Jurim became a true parental figure after raising a kid.
He used to just ignore guild hate.
Now it feels like he’s protecting it.
— WaitingInLineToBeGuruMom: Bro... I lived long enough to see Jurim-hyung grow as a person...
— IDIsSomethingLikeShinNayeon: Why am I crying ༼; ́༎ຶ ۝༎ຶ`༽
— CMILK: Wait y’all—when did Jurim have a kid?? LOL
— IDIsSomethingLikeShinNayeon: It just felt so natural lmao
— dsasd: @CMILK yo you tryna get smacked?
— WaitingInLineToBeGuruMom: She’s mixed so it doesn’t show, but if you look close they kinda look alike lmao
— Hakseoteoz: Live together long enough, you start looking alike
— FlutteringExcitedly: But now I’m thinking... can I start getting my hopes up for Jjapso too?
— GodIsMyDaddy: Eh... let’s not go that far lol
— TalkShitGetVaporized: Don’t pop the champagne yet! Just wait a lil longer!
— HyeonakGhost: Bro chill, Jjapso’s not even a minor like Serhi
— FlutteringExcitedly: Yeah true... maybe Jjapso just asked to stay anonymous?
— HyeonakGhost: Honestly, that’s likely. Dude acts like a maniac. Might be A-Rank at least.
[Title: If they’re really selling our railgun drones...]
So what do you think the price would be?
[Comments]
— FlutteringExcitedly: It’s B-Rank... so maybe 2 billion won?
— OGJjapsoSince1958: Kinda steep for B-Rank but the tech might justify it. Still feels a bit overpriced tho.
— GodIsMyDaddy: 5 units x 2B = 10B won. Mana stones not included, so raw materials cost is like... plush toy money. ROI is absolutely cracked. If they start mass-producing in the lab later...?
— FlutteringExcitedly: Goated. Jjap-mentality.
— OGJjapsoSince1958: Jjap-mentality
— HyeonakGhost: ...Have I always loved Jjapso? Why is my heart pounding lmao
— Hakseoteoz: Who doesn’t love Jjapso in Actors?
— JjapMeow: No way he’s F-rank, but even if he is—I still love you, Jjap-hyung.
— GidanOnFire: With how much Jjap’s earning, the S-Rank hyungs and noonas better carry his score lol
— HyeonakGhost: For real 😂 The guild’s got four S-Ranks now
— IDIsSomethingLikeShinNayeon: >>Four S-Ranks<< I’m dead 💀 god that’s so satisfying
