Ye Chen went online and saw the ratings on Douban.
The filmРІР‚в„ўs rating reached as high as 8.8.
ItРІР‚в„ўs safe to say that this rating is the highest among all films released this year.
This year, Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs films have been lacking, with most of the releases being flops, and itРІР‚в„ўs been difficult to score even 7 points.
The films scoring above 8 are mostly imported from abroad.
For "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," both the storyline and the actorsРІР‚в„ў performances, including the special effects, are classics in Hua Country.
Achieving this rating is nothing short of remarkable.
However, just like in the past, the reason for Yu LongjiaoРІР‚в„ўs final cliff jump remains a subject of heated debate.
Even some professional film critics have analyzed it thoroughly.
The thorough analysis even impressed Ye Chen.
Many people even tagged director Ye Chen.
But Ye Chen neither replied nor participated in the discussion.
To be honest, even Ye Chen himself doesnРІР‚в„ўt know the reason.
Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs acting skills have also become a topic of discussion.
Zhou Fa has always been a controversial point of the film.
Because having an extra play the lead role is rare in the history of Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs films.
But such an unexpected person ended up creating a miracle.
His acting did not disappoint Ye Chen and slapped those who doubted him.
Now Zhou Fa has become popular, as can be seen from his newly registered Weibo which originally had fewer than a hundred followers, now reaching 880,000.
And this number is rapidly increasing.
In other words, reaching a million is just a matter of time.
Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs Weibo had not been updated, so Ye Chen gave him a call.
"Old Zhou, you should post a Weibo."
Zhou Fa was extremely excited at this moment.
Especially since his performance was recognized by so many people, which he himself had not expected.
Zhou Fa previously only read Weibo but didnРІР‚в„ўt really know how to use it, so he asked, "Boss, what should I post?"
Ye Chen thought for a moment and said, "Just post: Thanks for everyoneРІР‚в„ўs support, I will work harder to perform even better roles."
A few minutes later, Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs Weibo was updated.
In an instant, Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs Weibo climbed up to the top ten of the trending list.
Ye Chen also reposted Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs Weibo: "Old ZhouРІР‚в„ўs performance was amazing, your effort proved youРІР‚в„ўre a gem, keep it up."
Soon, Zhou FaРІР‚в„ўs Weibo rose to the top three on the trending list.
Meanwhile, Liu Hua, through his brilliant performance in the film, allowed everyone to recognize his acting skills anew.
As for Tong Xiaoya, she became the number one topic on WeiboРІР‚в„ўs hot search list.
Tong Xiaoya posted with the title: "Waking up in the morning, looking at the sunrise, feeling great, another beautiful day."
Followed by a very beautiful photo facing the sunrise.
After all, Tong Xiaoya is a goddess in many peopleРІР‚в„ўs hearts, and playing such a challenging role this time around has reignited her popularity since the last incident.
At this moment, the most displeased is Wu Ge, because the artists who left their company have all surged in popularity.
And the film they released simultaneously with "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" turned out to be a complete flop.
Moreover, this is just the beginning of their troubles; the companyРІР‚в„ўs artists are frequently demanding transfers, and their destination is all Star Film and Television.
The most frustrating part for him is that he has no way to deal with these issues.
By noon, Ye Chen received more good news.
The overseas sales results for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" came in.
As for the ancient oriental culture, many foreigners have always felt it very mysterious.
So as soon as this theme came out, it immediately caught the attention of foreign film fans.
The mysterious oriental kung fu and the impressive special effects immediately thrilled the foreign audience.
While Ye Chen was driving DiDi, Lin Wanrou called.
"WhatРІР‚в„ўs up?" Ye Chen asked.
"Young master, the box office statistics from M Country cinemas are out; our film ranks first."
Lin WanrouРІР‚в„ўs voice was even a bit excited because such an achievement has never been seen before in Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs film industry.
"How much?" Ye Chen was not surprised.
After all, whether itРІР‚в„ўs the filmРІР‚в„ўs oriental theme or Ye ChenРІР‚в„ўs special effects, such a miracle is not surprising.
Lin Wanrou said excitedly: "Our box office is thirty-eight million, in M Yuan."
This achievement can actually rank in the top ten in the history of M CountryРІР‚в„ўs films.
Ye Chen nodded: "Hmm, the achievement is quite good."
Lin Wanrou was speechless; such an achievement should be considered explosive, how could it be described as just РІР‚в„ўquite goodРІР‚в„ў?
"Young master, your performance is too calm."
Ye Chen smiled: "This achievement is merely just passing."
Hearing Ye ChenРІР‚в„ўs bragging, Lin Wanrou was speechless.
Lin Wanrou continued: "Young master, thereРІР‚в„ўs an interview at Modu TV Station tomorrow, do you want to attend?"
"Alright, I can do that."
Ye Chen chatted with Lin Wanrou for a few more moments before hanging up.
Everything else is secondary; for Ye Chen, driving DiDi is the main job.
During this time, Ye Chen wrote a few more scripts and distributed them to his artists under his wing.
Since he wants to develop in the entertainment industry, Ye Chen must promote his artists, making his company stronger.
At this moment, Ye Chen received another call.
The call was from Yang Mimi.
"Ye Chen, IРІР‚в„ўve fallen out with my former company, can you take me in?"
It turned out that Yang Mimi also wasnРІР‚в„ўt very happy with her entertainment company.
Yang Mimi just wanted to act well, but the company kept scheduling her for countless announcements and entertainment programs.
This made it impossible for her to shoot even one film in a year.
Finally, Yang Mimi couldnРІР‚в„ўt bear it and broke up with the company.
After flying solo, Yang Mimi, who was friends with Tong Xiaoya, came to seek Ye Chen under Tong XiaoyaРІР‚в„ўs persuasion.
Ye Chen was naturally delighted to hear that Yang Mimi was willing to come.
"Since you want to come, of course, youРІР‚в„ўre welcome."
With Yang Mimi coming, Ye Chen had more choices; his first thought was to film a TV series.
This time, Ye Chen plans to shoot a series starring Yang Mimi and Tong Xiaoya.
Ye Chen has already decided that this TV series will be a very popular past-life work "Palace Locking Heart Jade."
This TV series originally created amazing ratings, making the two leading actors extremely popular.
Ye Chen decided to use this series to elevate their popularity to another level.
With these two leading ladies, along with Liu Hua and Zhou Fa, Ye Chen was doing phenomenally in the entertainment industry.
At this point, Ye Chen saw another piece of news.
Lu Xiaohan injured his hand while filming and went to the hospital for emergency treatment.
This news immediately sparked heated discussions among netizens.
"Haha, this is hilarious! He went to the hospital just because his hand got hurt."
"Are todayРІР‚в„ўs fresh meat actors really this delicate?"
"If you want to go, you should hurry, or else the injury will heal."
"Sigh, otherwise, we canРІР‚в„ўt even watch movies now, these fresh actors are too delicate."
What was originally a normal news story suddenly put Lu Xiaohan under fire.
Accusations of being too delicate and acting like a diva were incessant.
Ye Chen saw the news and simply smiled, this had also happened in the past life, and Ye Chen believed it was just the media stirring up trouble.
Going to the hospital also wasnРІР‚в„ўt like Lu Xiaohan necessarily wanted to go; it was simply the media exaggerating the news.
The entertainment industry is too complex.
