The news of Star UniversityРІР‚в„ўs three-day carnival immediately went viral.
Criticism flooded the internet.
"Universities should be places of learning, This is just messing around!"
"Really donРІР‚в„ўt know what the principal of Star University is thinking."
"This is irresponsible to the students, strongly recommend dismissing the principal."
Ye Chen didnРІР‚в„ўt bother to pay attention to the online comments at all.
He wanted to speak with facts, to tell those people he was right.
The next day, the students were still having a blast.
Everyone played late into the night before the news spread.
Videos of the Star University carnival circulated among various universities.
Looking at the happy students at Star University, those prideful students at other universities were incredibly jealous.
Actually, this was the life they wanted, too.
The next day, the school began military training.
On Fudan UniversityРІР‚в„ўs training ground, they found there were surprisingly far fewer people.
"Where are the people?" The coach furrowed his brow.
Counting the numbers, they found one-third of them missing.
The same thing happened in every class.
Soon, the issue was reported to the principal.
After investigation, it turned out these students had all gone to one place, Star University.
Principal Mr. Zhou furrowed his brow: "Star University is nothing but a diploma mill, what are our students doing there?"
The director of the academic affairs office smiled wryly: "Have you not seen the internet? Star University had a three-day carnival, and the students all ran off to party."
"Bang!" The principal slammed his desk fiercely.
"Nonsense, students need to settle down at the beginning of school, a three-day carnival, are they insane?"
However, the principal snorted coldly: "Let them be, I believe next year their school wonРІР‚в„ўt have any enrollment."
After all, parents send their children to school primarily for learning.
No parent wants to see their child playing wildly at school.
The principal believed a school like this had no future.
Meanwhile, at Star University, the carnival continued.
Ye Chen was in his office, observing everything happening in the campus through a surveillance screen.
Those students from other campuses were immediately noticed by Ye Chen when they entered.
However, Ye Chen didnРІР‚в„ўt stop them; his belief was freedom. Since they were willing to come, they would naturally not be obstructed.
Moreover, being able to communicate with students from different campuses wasnРІР‚в„ўt a bad thing for Star University students.
The Fudan University students were completely stunned as they walked into the campus.
In their perception, such a diploma mill would surely be filthy and messy, with dilapidated buildings.
But walking in felt like entering a dream kingdom.
Whether the campus environment or teaching building dormitories, it was much better than theirs.
They even didnРІР‚в„ўt want to leave once they walked into campus.
On the playground, classmates were having a carnival, soccer-loving students were playing matches on the football field.
The basketball court, badminton court, and volleyball court all showed scenes of intense competition.
Compared to their grueling military training, these students from prestigious schools were almost in tears.
This is a university, this is the real university life.
If given a choice, they would definitely choose Star University, not those prestigious schools.
However, amidst the fiery atmosphere amongst Star University students, they quickly blended in.
Military training? Let those demon coaches stay wherever theyРІР‚в„ўd like!
When these students returned to school, Fudan University had already issued a notice forbidding students from going to Star University, or they would face direct disciplinary action.
Students returned to the miserable training ground for military training.
Standing under the scorching sun, standing in military posture, thinking of the Star UniversityРІР‚в„ўs food barbeque, football field, basketball field, these students truly regretted not choosing Star University at the beginning.
These students also narrated their experiences at Star University to their classmates.
Everyone was stunned.
Oh my God, is there really such a university?
Before, many thought Star University was just a diploma mill, but now they all harbored dreams about this university.
The three-day carnival ended.
The campus returned to tranquility.
Early next morning, students woke up early without needing any urging, some went for a run, some were reading in the campus.
On this day, the school conducted tests.
According to the test results, teachers for various subjects were selected.
Of course, these teachers were students themselves.
For example, Mo Xiaoxiao, his course was computer science.
Luo Jingshan would teach music.
Bai Yang, a little divine level author of web novels, was teaching literature.
Under systematic allocation, all resources were distributed.
As teachers, these students were very serious and immediately went back to prepare lessons.
The school even established many interest groups.
For example, Chen Jian, his dream was to make a rocket that could fly to the sky.
So he gathered a few students with similar interests, slaving away day and night in the lab researching rocket launching.
And Zhang Mo, who liked nuclear energy, he led the interest group into the laboratory.
Ye Chen didnРІР‚в„ўt say a word, but the hearts of these classmates had already returned.
They all went back to the track of pursuing their dreams.
Looking at the orderly campus, Ye Chen also let out a sigh of relief.
Having been soaked in the school these days, now that the school returned to normal, Ye Chen handed over school affairs to Lin Shiyin, while he continued to drive for DiDi.
Ran a few businesses but unfortunately didnРІР‚в„ўt activate any five-star reviews.
At this time, Ye Chen received a call from his mother.
"Little Chen, IРІР‚в„ўve introduced a girlfriend for you."
"Mom, you donРІР‚в„ўt need to worry about my affairs." Ye Chen said helplessly.
"How can I not worry, look at Little Tao, heРІР‚в„ўs married, but you still donРІР‚в„ўt have a girlfriend."
Ye Chen didnРІР‚в„ўt tell his mother about the girlfriend matter.
After all, he had so many women, he was afraid his motherРІР‚в„ўs heart couldnРІР‚в„ўt take it all if he told her.
"I donРІР‚в„ўt care, you must meet, 7:30 at Venice Cafe."
"Alright, alright, I get it." Ye Chen reluctantly hung up the phone.
Fine, meet if he must.
Ye Chen drove his car towards the Venice Cafe.
Walking into the cafe, Ye Chen found an empty seat and sat down.
He was playing with his phone when a surprised voice sounded, "Ye Chen is that you?"
Ye Chen looked up and was momentarily stunned.
Gao Qian?
Ye Chen remembered his mother mentioned the blind date wasnРІР‚в„ўt supposed to be Lu Feifei, was it?
"Oh, hello." Ye Chen said casually.
Gao Qian directly sat across from Ye Chen.
"Ye Chen, I broke up with Ma Wei."
"Oh!" Ye ChenРІР‚в„ўs expression was very calm.
Gao Qian was here because she was investigating on behalf of her best friend.
The two agreed if the blind date was tall, rich, and handsome, the best friend would invite the blind date for a meetup next time.
If the blind date was ugly and broke, then they would directly reject and blacklist them.
"Ye Chen, what a coincidence, IРІР‚в„ўm actually here for a friendРІР‚в„ўs blind date. She couldnРІР‚в„ўt make it, so she asked me to check out the blind date."
"Oh, I see."
Gao Qian was very excited. Last time Ye Chen left, she directly broke up with Ma Wei.
To think her former first love boyfriend became a super-rich, how could she just be an ugly mistress?
She wanted to send Ye Chen a WeChat message but realized Ye Chen had already blacklisted her.
Unexpectedly, she was now substituting for her best friendРІР‚в„ўs blind date, who turned out to be Ye Chen.
What does this mean? Ye Chen still doesnРІР‚в„ўt have a girlfriend! So her chance has come.
