On the Maoya Live Stream platform, seeing Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs exhilarating victory, all the fans in the live stream room were thrilled.
"So awesome, I now want to see who dares to say we Hua Country people canРІР‚в„ўt play games."
"The opponents are so pitiful, being beaten so badly."
"Haha, they actually got beaten to tears, so pitiful."
"First time seeing such a tactic, impressive."
Star TeamРІР‚в„ўs fighting power is terrifying.
This time, they adopted a full-team charge.
Even their sniper charged with an AK.
Chen XiaonanРІР‚в„ўs strength once again amazed everyone.
In general PlayerUnknownРІР‚в„ўs Battlegrounds games, a player excels in only one weapon.
But Chen Xiaonan is amazing with a sniper rifle and equally proficient with an AK.
This caught the YD Team off guard.
Star Team smoothly entered the top eight with a 2-0 score.
Other matches were also ongoing simultaneously.
In this round, Han University faced a team from Korea.
Although it was a tough fight, they still lost 2-1, becoming the first Hua Country team to be eliminated.
However, among the top eight, Hua Country still has three teams, which is an awesome achievement.
Major websites in Hua Country reported the situation of this world electronic sports war.
Previously in world electronic sports competitions, many Hua Country e-sports fans would also pay attention.
But most would just check the results, as they couldnРІР‚в„ўt watch live.
This time, not only did Maoya Net stream the whole event live, but also Hua Country teams participated, which further fueled the audienceРІР‚в„ўs enthusiasm.
Among the top eight, Hua Country teams surprisingly made up three, becoming the national team with the most advancements currently.
"Haha, it would be interesting if three Hua Country teams made it to the top four."
"The matches are so exciting, I didnРІР‚в„ўt expect e-sports to be so interesting."
"So games can also become a competitive sport, impressive."
In the afternoon, thereРІР‚в„ўs the semi-finals.
Seeing the online comments, Ye Chen was also looking forward to it.
However, entering the semi-finals, all the opponents are very strong.
Especially Zhejiang UniversityРІР‚в„ўs opponent is last yearРІР‚в„ўs champion team from Korea.
This is also the team that eliminated another Hua Country team.
Star TeamРІР‚в„ўs opponent is a team from M Country, last yearРІР‚в„ўs third-place team.
Kyoto UniversityРІР‚в„ўs opponent is relatively weaker, a team from Country Y, but they also made the top four last time.
ItРІР‚в„ўs unknown how Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs teams will perform in the afternoon matches.
Sure enough, as Ye Chen expected.
Star Team fought hard to defeat the Brazil team 2-1 to enter the top four.
But Zhejiang University lost again to the team from Korea.
Kyoto Team successfully advanced.
In the top four, there are two Hua Country teams remaining.
The other two are the NH Team from M Country and the TG Team from Korea.
The draw began, and Ye Chen prayed that the two Hua Country teams would not meet each other.
Fortunately, the final result was KoreaРІР‚в„ўs TG Team vs. Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs Kyoto University Team.
And Star TeamРІР‚в„ўs opponent is M CountryРІР‚в„ўs NH Team.
These two teams were the champion and runner-up of last yearРІР‚в„ўs world tournament.
Two teams making it to the top four, this news spread like a heartening force back home.
Major TV stations and websites also began to pay attention to the world electronic sports championships.
After all, it is Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs teamРІР‚в„ўs first time participating, and they achieved such good results.
This competition, just as Ye Chen predicted, made e-sports popular once again.
Even the topic of bringing glory to the country through playing games, once laughed at, was being discussed again.
Unlike the previous one-sided situations, this time, most believe that Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs teams indeed managed to bring glory to the country.
Many people even completely changed their view on e-sports.
In their eyes, e-sports is no longer about idleness but truly a competitive sport that can bring glory to the country.
PeopleРІР‚в„ўs perception of e-sports is gradually changing.
After all, in the past, Hua Country had no standing in the world of e-sports, but this time, they showed the world what Hua Country can do.
Now, Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs official e-sports Weibo followers have reached 30 million, and Maoya Live StreamРІР‚в„ўs clicks have even exceeded one billion.
More and more people are beginning to pay attention to e-sports.
Many are curious about what charm e-sports holds to captivate people so much.
As the competition continued, the last day was the finals of the top four.
The semifinals took place in the morning to determine the top two teams.
The final was in the afternoon.
Among them, Hua Country has two teams in the running for the finals.
Many people were even envisioning the scenario of the two Hua Country teams smoothly meeting in the finals.
However, everyone understood that hoping for a smooth meeting was not that simple.
M CountryРІР‚в„ўs NH Team and KoreaРІР‚в„ўs TG Team are seasoned strong teams, both meeting consecutively in the finals for three years.
Though their wins and losses vary, currently no other countryРІР‚в„ўs teams can compete with them.
This is destined to be a decisive battle, a challenge for both Star University Team and Kyoto University Team.
The first to play was Kyoto University Team.
KoreaРІР‚в„ўs TG Team had already knocked out two Hua Country teams, known as the Hua Country team killers.
This match, KoreaРІР‚в„ўs TG Team arrogantly claimed their opponent was M CountryРІР‚в„ўs NH Team, while the match against Hua Country teams was just a warm-up.
This statement caused an uproar among Hua Country teams.
It was simply too presumptuous.
Although Kyoto University Team fought with all their might, KoreaРІР‚в„ўs TG Team was too strong.
They still lost 2-1.
Now the only hope for the championship rested on Star University Team.
The players were under great pressure because M CountryРІР‚в„ўs NH Team was very strong.
Ye Chen smiled lightly and said, "You must believe you are the best, I want to lift the trophy with you back home."
"Star Team will win, Hua Country will win," the team members put their hands together.
The match began, and indeed M CountryРІР‚в„ўs NH Team was formidable.
In the first round, Hua Country team was caught off guard by an attack from the opponent, ultimately losing the first round.
Seeing this outcome, the Hua Country live stream room was somewhat gloomy.
After all, Star Team is currently Hua CountryРІР‚в„ўs only hope, and losing the first round gave the opponent the match point.
In the resting room, Ye Chen looked at the dejected players and said, "DonРІР‚в„ўt be discouraged, we just lost one game, we can win it back, I believe in you."
Chen Xiaonan nodded: "The opponent definitely studied us carefully, so their strategy is very targeted, so in the next game, letРІР‚в„ўs not play by normal rules, Sun Ze youРІР‚в„ўll be the sniper, IРІР‚в„ўll be the assault."
"Yes."
In the second round, Star Team changed their strategy, which indeed made NH Team very uncomfortable.
After intense fighting, Chen Xiaonan was shot by the opposing captain, and Sun ZeРІР‚в„ўs sniper rifle decided the victory in one shot.
Through so many matches, everyone thought Chen Xiaonan was the teamРІР‚в„ўs core, they didnРІР‚в„ўt expect Star Team had another amazing sniper, Sun Ze.
The score equalized, both teams at 1-1.
Everyone held their breath, the last match would be the deciding battle!
