“Ye Xuan, this is Buzhou Mountain.”
At this moment, the Fire God Zhurong and the Water God Gonggong arrived with Ye Xuan at the dragon vein of Buzhou Mountain.
Zhurong said to Ye Xuan, “In a while, you just need to play the flute to cover the entire Buzhou Mountain, and Gonggong and I will naturally take care of capturing that wicked dragon.”
“Yes, please be careful, esteemed gods.” Ye Xuan bowed to the Water and Fire Gods, then scanned the vast Buzhou Mountain, took out his flute, and began to play.
The clear and pleasant flute sound instantly spread throughout Buzhou Mountain. Zhurong unconsciously showed a trace of joy.
Seeing this, Gonggong reminded him, “Do not get lost in it. If you like it, you can have him play for you after this. Now, we have important matters to attend to.”
“Hmm.” Zhurong nodded and, together with Gonggong, flew towards Buzhou Mountain.
“What a beautiful flute sound. This flute sound is not inferior to yours at all.” At this moment, the black dragon in his cave heard the flute sound outside and said to the Dragon Princess.
“This sound...” The Dragon Princess listened to the flute sound and couldn’t help but shed tears: “It’s Brother Ye Xuan...”
“Brother Ye Xuan?” Hearing this, the black dragon’s expression changed drastically: “Not good–!!!” Saying this, he immediately flew towards the cave entrance.
But at this moment, two divine figures appeared before him.
“Wicked dragon, you disturbed the Donghai, kidnapped the Donghai Dragon King’s daughter, injured the immortal generals, yet you do not come with us to face punishment–!!!”
“Water God Gonggong, Fire God Zhurong–!!!” Seeing the two figures in front of him, a trace of fear appeared in the black dragon’s eyes.
He wanted to escape, but how could he escape the blockade of two powerful gods?!! At this moment, he had no choice but to fight–!!!
Thinking of this, he shouted loudly: “That flute-playing Ye Xuan, the Dragon Princess is in my hands. If you don’t stop playing, I will kill her immediately–!!!”
“Haha.” Hearing the black dragon’s words, Zhurong sneered: “I don’t know how you know Ye Xuan’s name, but Ye Xuan is the best musician in the heavenly realm.”
“Even if you call him, even if you kill him, no one can make him stop playing while he is immersed in his music.”
At this moment, Ye Xuan, immersed in his flute playing, suddenly heard that the Dragon Princess was in danger, and countless memories flashed through his mind.
This moment of distraction caused his flute playing to stop. Immediately, a dragon shadow on Buzhou Mountain slowly opened its eyes.
“Heavenly gods, who gave you the courage to step foot on Buzhou Mountain–!!!” Mythical Sky Dragon, the supreme of all dragons, and among all Mythical Sky Dragons, the strongest dragon god named Zhugu, guarded Buzhou Mountain, allowing no heavenly gods to set foot there.
Unexpectedly, today, some heavenly gods dared to step foot on Buzhou Mountain while he was absorbed in the music? He felt endless anger–!!!
“Lord Zhugu, please do not be angry. We did not intend to disturb you.” Gonggong, seeing that Zhugu had awakened due to Ye Xuan’s interruption, was shocked but quickly said: “We will leave immediately.”
Since Zhugu had awakened, their mission no longer needed to continue. No one dared to confront the dragons on Buzhou Mountain.
“You think, after using these despicable tricks on my Buzhou Mountain, I will let you leave safely?” The sky darkened, endless black clouds enveloped Buzhou Mountain, and a dragon shadow appeared before Zhurong and Gonggong.
Zhurong, with his fiery temper, retorted: “Zhugu, just because the heavenly gods tolerate you does not mean we fear you. Your dragon kin committed crimes, disrupting the order of heaven and earth. We came by the decree of the Heavenly Emperor to capture them–!”
“So what?!” Zhugu said: “The order of heaven and earth has nothing to do with me. If my dragon kin commit crimes, we dragons will deal with it ourselves. Why do you heavenly gods need to interfere? If you don’t calm my anger today, you will die here–!”
“Humph, do you think I fear you–!!!” Zhurong, no longer hiding his aura, transformed into a gigantic god.
“Sigh...” Gonggong, helpless, also transformed into another giant god. The two gods together faced the strongest dragon in existence.
“Even the Heavenly Emperor wouldn’t dare be presumptuous before me, yet you two dare to challenge me. How amusing.” This most powerful being in the world, even when casually playing around, released terrifying energy.
Especially when angered... Zhugu, excited, accidentally swung his tail towards Gonggong, sending Gonggong’s huge body flying billions of feet, crashing heavily into Buzhou Mountain.
Crack–!!!
At this moment, a terrifying sound of breaking came from Buzhou Mountain, as if the heavens were being forcibly snapped. The pillar of heaven, Buzhou Mountain, broke–!!!
The sky, as if losing its support, began to tilt in one direction, with the sun, moon, and stars in the sky sliding in that direction.
Zhugu, no longer concerned with fighting the Water and Fire Gods, immediately wrapped his colossal dragon body around Buzhou Mountain.
At this moment, all the force of the collapsing heavens pressed down on him. He felt the pain the Pangu God Emperor experienced when he opened the heavens and earth.
No, he felt even more pain. Pangu had used his hands to push the heavens upwards, while he had to straighten the tilting heavens. He felt his supposedly indestructible dragon body was about to be torn apart in an instant.
At this moment, the Water and Fire Gods panicked... They didn’t understand why a simple task had turned into such a catastrophic outcome.
“Hiss–!!!” Watching this scene, all the cultivators couldn’t help but take a cold breath. Ordinary people were so frightened that they dared not open their eyes. The sky collapsed, and the earth sank...
What kind of apocalypse was this?!! Why would such a mythical scene appear in the memories of Ye Xuan and the Dragon Princess?
“Could this be the legendary... the story of the sky pillar breaking and the earth collapsing before the Emperor Nuwa mended the sky?!”
“Who could have thought that the collapse of the sky pillar was caused by... Ye Xuan’s momentary distraction?”
“Ye Xuan’s sin is even greater than imagined?”
“No, what does this have to do with Ye Xuan? Even if he made a mistake, he shouldn’t bear the responsibility for the collapse of heaven and earth–!!!”
However, while everyone thought Ye Xuan’s sin was immense, the Dragon Princess couldn’t help but defend him: “What did he do wrong? The sky pillar wasn’t broken by him–!”
Everyone looked at the Dragon Princess. They all remembered that Ye Xuan was momentarily distracted because he heard about the Dragon Princess being in danger.
