Within the forest.
Fang Xiu and the others stared curiously at the Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger before them.
"It should be dead, right?"
Luo Xing asked curiously.
He didn’t dare be too sure whether the Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger was actually dead or not.
"Why don’t you go take a look?"
Tao Miao said timidly.
After all, this Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger was truly ferocious.
Right now, it was pinned to the ground by Chu Qingxue’s Ice Arrows, its body covered in a layer of ice.
"Qingxue’s Ice Arrows are powerful enough, and they also have a Frozen effect. Previously, the ice would be broken in five seconds at most, but it’s been over ten seconds now. It should be dead!"
Fang Xiu said, looking at the Frozen Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger.
You couldn’t tell at all whether these Demon Beasts were dead or not.
Only when they finally dropped loot could you tell if they were truly dead.
Fortunately, the Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger didn’t keep Fang Xiu and the others waiting for long.
After about twenty seconds, a flash of light appeared.
"Phew!"
Everyone immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
After all, the Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger was just too strong for them.
If it hadn’t died just now, they really wouldn’t have had the energy to fight anymore.
"We actually killed a Level 20 BOSS!"
At that moment, Luo Xing finally processed what had happened.
He shouted with excitement.
"Yeah, that was a Level 20 BOSS!"
"That wasn’t easy at all!"
"I almost thought we were going to die at the hands of that Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger!"
Tao Miao and the other two were also visibly excited at this point.
The Fire Mage even started crying outright.
The three of them excitedly hugged Chu Qingxue.
Luo Xing stood off to the side, looking a bit awkward.
Then he looked at Fang Xiu and lunged over.
Ready to dive headfirst into Fang Xiu’s arms.
But he was instantly kicked away by Fang Xiu.
And just then, the Purple Cloud Clear Wind Tiger also started to drop its loot.
"It’s dropping stuff! Quick, let’s see what a Level 20 BOSS drops!"
The girl with the Rose Talent shouted excitedly, seeing a host of items appear in the flash of light.
Her cry made the others quickly look at the items that had dropped on the ground.
"This... this is Rare Ore!"
"Wow, there’s a Recovery Potion here! These things are super expensive!"
"This is... this is Equipment!!! Boots!!! They increase speed!!!"
"..."
At this moment, they were all ecstatic.
Except for Fang Xiu.
Chu Qingxue was also relatively calm, but the slight upward turn of her lips showed that she was also very happy.
The other four couldn’t calm down at all.
As soon as an item dropped, they would run over, pick it up, and quickly announce what it was.
"Whoa, a Treasure Chest!!!"
Just then.
With another flash of light,
A Treasure Chest had actually dropped.
This gasp of surprise even drew the gazes of Fang Xiu and Chu Qingxue.
Any official Awakened who had accessed the community website would instantly recognize a Treasure Chest.
This was a Treasure Chest that could contain good items!
And now... one had just dropped so casually.
However, after seeing that the dropped chest was only a Bronze Treasure Chest,
Fang Xiu breathed a sigh of relief.
After all, he hadn’t participated in killing the BOSS.
If they asked him to take some of the reward now, he would feel a bit uncomfortable.
After all, that would seem a bit unfair.
"Brother Fang, this Bronze Treasure Chest is for you!"
Just then, Tao Miao and her group exchanged a look, then brought the Treasure Chest over to Fang Xiu.
"You guys earned it, you should open it."
Fang Xiu didn’t accept.
Although he wasn’t sure what would come out of the Bronze Treasure Chest,
He still felt it wasn’t right for him to accept it.
"Brother Fang, if you hadn’t been guiding us from the side, we definitely wouldn’t have been able to kill this BOSS. This Treasure Chest should be yours!"
Tao Miao said.
Luo Xing, Chu Qingxue, and the others also nodded slightly.
Although Fang Xiu hadn’t participated in this battle,
If he hadn’t been constantly reminding them from the sidelines, they probably wouldn’t have been able to defeat this BOSS.
"Besides, if you hadn’t been here, we would have turned and run just now!"
Luo Xing then added, "And on the way here, we encountered so many Level 20 Demon Beasts. If you hadn’t acted, we never would have made it this far!"
"Exactly!"
The female Fire Mage also nodded slightly.
"How about this? I’ll open the Bronze Treasure Chest. If the item inside is suitable for someone, we’ll give it to them. If it’s not suitable for anyone, we’ll just sell it and split the money evenly. How does that sound?"
Fang Xiu thought for a moment.
He had come up with a compromise.
Everyone agreed to this solution.
After all, this was the only way that seemed relatively fair.
Plus, if the item turned out to be something Fang Xiu could use for a Sacrifice, he would be able to take it.
"Alright, I’m opening it then!"
Fang Xiu didn’t waste any more words.
Seeing everyone nod,
He directly opened the Bronze Treasure Chest.
Soon, after a flash of light,
The item inside was revealed.
It was a Magic Staff.
The entire body of the Magic Staff was red.
Fang Xiu didn’t even need to use his system to check; he knew this thing couldn’t be used for a Sacrifice.
After all, it was a Magic Staff, a type of weapon.
’A Magic Staff from a Bronze Treasure Chest dropped by a Level 20 BOSS... There’s no way in hell I can Sacrifice something like that.’
"It’s a Level 20, Fire Element Magic Staff,"
Fang Xiu announced.
Hearing it was a Fire Element Magic Staff, everyone looked at the female Fire Mage.
"Huh?"
The female Fire Mage was stunned.
