That way, Ye Fan wouldn’t be able to put any strength into it.

Ye Fan roared in fury.
He swung his other fist.
It came smashing toward Fang Xiu.

Fang Xiu dislocated that one, too.
"ARGHH!!!"
Ye Fan struggled, still trying to charge at Fang Xiu.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Fang Xiu dislocated both of Ye Fan’s legs.

Fang Xiu was afraid that while under control, Ye Fan might just go and sacrifice himself.

Still not feeling secure, Fang Xiu pulled out a rope, bound Ye Fan, and tied him to a tree.

He then walked toward the altar.
The strange sound continued.
Fang Xiu could tell it was coming from inside the altar.
He approached it.
’I wonder how these things came to exist here?’
’It seems there are no people in these Gate Worlds... or rather, humans have never appeared in them.’
’But for some reason, things that look man-made always seem to show up.’

Fang Xiu highly doubted the altar was built by Demon Beasts.

Fang Xiu walked toward the altar.
There were steps, and it wasn’t very high.
Soon, Fang Xiu arrived in front of a door.
It was dark inside.
But the special sound was coming from within.
Fang Xiu slowly stepped through the doorway.
The deeper he went, the darker it became.

It didn’t match any Demon Beast he knew of.
Perhaps it was a higher-level Demon Beast.
Or maybe it was another species entirely.
But Fang Xiu could tell that the strange sound was coming from the skeleton’s mouth.

The mesmerizing sound was actually coming from a skeleton.
