There was no false bottom, no other compartments to open.
Just a single glove, for the right hand.
Fang Xiu picked up the glove.
It felt quite nice, very soft to the touch.
The thickness was just right, too.
A dark red draconic crest was emblazoned on it, looking incredibly lifelike.
’Since I got this through a Sacrifice, it should be pretty good, right?’
Fang Xiu stared at the glove in his hand.
He had sacrificed quite a lot to Fafnir in the past.
Lu Yu’Er, and also a Liu Bei set.
The rewards had all been quite good.
’This time, even if the Sacrifice was just a fifty-year-old woman, surely it wouldn’t result in just a single, crappy glove, right?’
Fang Xiu then put it on without a second thought.
He checked its stats.

He gestured for them to head out together.

The two of them then set off together, heading toward the so-called central region.
"I was worried you were..."
As Ye Fan spoke, his brows knit together slightly, and he rubbed the bridge of his nose.
Fang Xiu watched Ye Fan’s every move intently.
’If Ye Fan still remembers, I’ll have to stop him from saying anything,’ Fang Xiu thought. ’The people at the Awakening Hall must have found out about Lu Yu’Er last time. If Ye Fan says something this time, I doubt they won’t get suspicious.’

His main goal was to test whether Ye Fan would forget.
Last time, Yu Boyuan and Nie Tai had been direct participants.

But this time, while Ye Fan and Ying Qingying knew each other, they clearly weren’t close.
He was merely an acquaintance in this matter and hadn’t directly participated in the plot to ambush and kill Fang Xiu.
