Hua Wuyan nodded.
"Of course they're Spirit Artifacts, just the forging techniques and usage habits are very different from the Spirit Artifacts common in our human world."
When people on the human world side mentioned Spirit Artifacts, everyone thought of some kind of weapon or armor, similar to character equipment in games.
But on the Dragon-Man tribe's side, besides those things, they also had war chariots, artillery carts, siege crossbows, Spirit Pearls that could transform into living weapons, beast-taming chains, and so on.
Actually, the human world also had unconventional Spirit Artifacts here and there, they just weren't very common and were rarely used in war.
For example, back when you attended the Starry Conference in the Starry Domains, you saw the spectator stands, the suspended arenas, and so on.
"If they count as Spirit Artifacts..."
"Do you have a plan?"
"It seems I can make the Dragon-Men's Spirit Artifacts betray them."
Hua Wuyan let out a confused chuckle.
"How can such a strange feat be accomplished?"
But just as she finished speaking, she caught on.
"The Earth Spirit?"
"Mm, I just don't know if letting the Earth Spirit spread his spirituality to all the Spirit Artifacts under heaven would have any negative effects?"
Hua Wuyan gave a slight nod and explained to you the composition of the world.
Each plane of the Void Realm can be seen as an independently evolving world.
The matter of each world is built on the foundation of the Five Elements and continuously evolves, like the rising and falling of the tides, floating and sinking.
The original essence of the Five Elements gives birth to the Five Element Root Vessels, which are what the human world calls the Great Dao Immortal Artifacts.
The Five Element Root Vessels of each world are random, not all looking the same, and their functions are naturally different as well.
The divine power of the Five Element Root Vessels is just a side effect; their fundamental role is to maintain the stability and normal evolution of a plane's Five Elements.
If the Five Element Root Vessels are destroyed, the world will become chaotic and dangerous, no longer suitable for life to evolve and survive.
Furthermore.
As the world enters a stable evolutionary state.
A mysterious entity known as the "Earth Spirit" will gradually be born from the land.
It is not a living being, nor is it matter; it is a kind of chaotic existence similar to consciousness and energy.
Every plane first has an "Earth Spirit," and only afterward does life appear.
The Earth Spirit influences the wisdom, lifespan, immortal fortune, and so on, of living beings.
For example.
The strongest Guardian of the three-headed people is only at the Martial King Realm.
On the surface, it looks like the three-headed people have poor cultivation aptitude.
But the root cause is that their Earth Spirit is relatively weak, preventing the living beings of the Three-Headed Realm from evolving higher cultivation aptitude.
The same goes for lifespan, wisdom, and so on.
The stronger the Earth Spirit, the higher the average lifespan and average wisdom of the living beings in that world, or it might manifest as being stronger in one aspect and weaker in another.
"The Earth Spirit is that important? Then I can't mess around with it..."
"If you just give all the Spirit Artifacts under heaven intelligence, it won't cause fundamental damage to the Earth Spirit. The Earth Spirit is related to the spirituality of living beings, but just because he becomes weaker doesn't mean we'll become stupid, because we've already evolved to this state. However, the Earth Spirit cannot be allowed to disappear; that would cause major problems."
"So you're saying I can do it?"
"You can, but you only have one chance. The Earth Spirit will go into hiding to recuperate after becoming weak, so you need to think carefully about the right moment to act."
Your brows furrowed tightly.
This really was a problem.
Right now, the Dragon-Man army had split into two forces.
One force was facing off against you at Cangqiong Ridge.
The other force was locked in fierce battle with the Shen Family in the Starry Domains.
The Earth Spirit granting intelligence couldn't reach the Starry Domains.
"I need to find a way to get that Dragon-Man army attacking the Starry Domains to leave the Starry Domains and come down to the ground."
Coming down to the ground didn't necessarily mean standing on solid earth.
If a Dragon-Man was holding a Magic Bullet Cannon while flying in midair, once the Earth Spirit activated the intelligence awakening, the Magic Bullet Cannon in his hand would still be affected.
As long as they weren't in the Starry Domains, or independent little worlds like the Cauldron Realm, the Time Room, or the Star Force Mystic Realm.
After some thought, you said.
"Forget it, let's just make our move directly. First, we'll repel this Dragon-Man army at Cangqiong Ridge. That way, we can also go support the Starry Domains in time. The Starry Domains can't hold out much longer."
Hua Wuyan shook her head.
"No, I went to the seabed to check the rift the Dragon-Man army crossed over from. They haven't been continuously transporting supplies to the human world. There's a Heaven Venerable and some soldiers guarding that rift. I speculate that this rift might no longer be able to send manpower or resources from the other side, but they can go back. They're guarding their retreat route.
In other words, if we can grant intelligence to all the weapons they currently have in hand and guide them to rebel, that will greatly weaken the strength of the Sixth Expeditionary Army.
Maybe, without relying on the Seven Luminaries Immortal Array, we can win this war!"
"But how can we make the Dragon-Man army in the Starry Domains come down?"
The Dragon-Man army attacked the Starry Domains precisely for its resources.
If the Shen Family retreated to the ground, they wouldn't chase them down; instead, they would start mining the resources on site to replenish their war needs.
"I'll go negotiate."
"You?"
"I'll give it a try. Maybe I can make them all come down."
Hua Wuyan explained her plan to you.
Several days later.
The Dragon-Man army that had been attacking the Starry Domains slowly descended from the high sky, a dark and oppressive mass.
Their military formation was strict, their expressions solemn, and their murderous aura dense.
But it was different from their battle-ready state; at this moment, they weren't far apart from each other, their formation neat and orderly.
This was because they weren't here to fight.
The Dragon-Man army stationed east of Cangqiong Ridge, led by two and a half Earth Venerables, then rose into the air, merging into the ranks of the entire army.
"SLAP!!!"
A sharp, loud slap landed on the face of one of the Earth Venerables.
The one who struck him was, naturally, one of the Three Grand Venerables.
"Useless! You actually lost Moss and Broken Star!"
The other five Earth Venerables who had attacked the Shen Family were all completely unharmed, and they were now mocking those two and a half.
You saw that only one of the Three Grand Venerables had come, the very one who had led the attack on the Starry Domains.
Shen Qingshan told you that the Dragon-Man army called him "Cunning Heaven Venerable."
The "Frigid Heaven Venerable," who had been severely wounded by Black Wind before, was still not showing his face. Could he really have been solo-killed by Black Wind?
As for that third Heaven Venerable, he was guarding the rift and wouldn't leave it easily.
Facing the One-Line-Sky Grand Array, Cunning Heaven Venerable could only speak with Hua Wuyan from outside the formation's area, from within the array.
"Human Guardian! We have stopped our attack and withdrawn from the Starry Domains! Now it's time for you to fulfill your promise! Accept my seal!"
This was the result of Hua Wuyan going to the Starry Domains not long ago to negotiate with Cunning Heaven Venerable.
She willingly sacrificed herself, offering her soul to let the Dragon-Man tribe suppress it with a secret technique, thereby suppressing the human race's luck, preventing the human race from ever producing another strong expert again.
Just like the Demon Tribe Guardian's Qilin Soul back in the day.
Hua Wuyan's condition was that the Dragon-Man army would stop their slaughter and destruction of the human world and immediately withdraw their entire army from the Starry Domains.
