"The Divine Envoy is merciful, manifesting divine grace; thank the great incarnation of the Yizhi Heavenly God for bestowing divine grace upon our Black Sand Tribe.
In this realm above and below, your will shall reign supreme; prosperity and honor come from you. Praise the Divine Envoy; our Black Sand Tribe is willing to offer our most devout faith to the Divine Envoy. Our entire Black Sand Tribe considers it an honor to become your servants!"
"Esteemed Divine Envoy, please accept our most devout praises and offerings!"
The Chief of the Black Sand Tribe, Hei Mann, had a somewhat fierce appearance, but at this moment, his face of devotion made that fierce black countenance emanate an unusual radiance.
Amidst the praises, the Black Sand Tribe Chief, Hei Mann, crawled on his knees to Ye Zhen, holding Ye Zhen’s sand-covered bare foot in his hands, kissing it without hesitation.
At that moment, Ye Zhen was a bit confused.
It was merely extracting a large amount of water from the underground river, rejuvenating the wheat fields and vegetation within a thousand miles radius.
A mere lift of a finger.
Ye Zhen himself did not use much power; only the Little Demon consumed a negligible amount, not even half a percent of spiritual power.
How did such an ordinary matter instantly become a divine miracle, hailed as the incarnation and envoy of the Yizhi Heavenly God by the Black Sand Tribe?
Moreover, the members of the Sha Clan, including the Black Sand Tribe’s chief, showed overwhelming zeal and devotion, chanting the divine name, praising Ye Zhen, tearfully and excitedly gathering around him, each taking turns kissing his not-so-clean feet.
Not only the Black Sand Tribe Chief, Hei Mann, but also the three Realm King stage Sha Clan martial artists behind him humbly crawled on their knees, taking turns, with unprecedented devotion, kissing Ye Zhen’s feet.
The warmth from their palms, the tears dripping onto Ye Zhen’s feet, made him feel their devotion and fervor.
This left Ye Zhen immensely shocked.
It’s important to know that martial artists at the Realm King stage are considered powerful on the Primordial Continent, and in the Great Zhou Dynasty, even when meeting the Holy Son of Heaven, Ren Venerate Emperor Ji Long, they only need to kneel on one knee.
Yet now, three Realm King stage Sha Clan martial artists are kneeling before Ye Zhen, whose cultivation is only at the Peak of Ninth Stage Dark Palace Realm, kissing his feet.
If this were in the Great Zhou, it would be unimaginable.
Even when Ye Zhen had subdued the divine souls of the Heavenly Patrol Divine General Feng Jiumo and others, he dared not and could not make them do such things.
Yet here among the Sha Clan, it happens naturally.
Following the three Realm King stage martial artists are hundreds of Dark Palace Realm Sha Clan warriors, each one eagerly kissing Ye Zhen’s feet.
When Ye Zhen finally comes to his senses from this shock, his feet are utterly covered in a mixture of saliva, tears, and sand.
But not a single Sha Clan person cleans the sand off Ye Zhen’s feet; whoever manages to take a grain of sand while kissing his feet rejoices as if receiving divine grace, eagerly holding it in their mouths, afraid to lose it.
Once again, Ye Zhen experiences firsthand the terrifying power of belief.
Ye Zhen’s first encounter with the madness of belief was upon returning to the True Profound Continent, when the Southern Barbarian Tribe warriors sacrificed their lives without hesitation to protect the Holy Spirit Peak at the priests’ command.
This time, the object of such terrifying belief is Ye Zhen.
This feeling is especially distinct; Ye Zhen feels that if he were to issue an order to have these Sha Clan people offer their lives for him...
It’s likely that these Sha Clan people would not hesitate a bit.
After the shock, Ye Zhen felt somewhat uncomfortable.
These Sha Clan people, regarding Ye Zhen as the incarnation and envoy of the Yizhi Sand Sea Heavenly God, might not feel anything, but Ye Zhen is somewhat overwhelmed.
Your feet are left with saliva and tears from hundreds of kisses, with some Sha Clan people even licking with their tongues.
That greasy feeling is unbearable for Ye Zhen.
It’s not disgust.
With their look of devotion and excitement, you can’t help but feel only sanctity, no chance to be disgusted.
It’s just that, psychologically, Ye Zhen couldn’t bear it.
Furthermore, it’s only a few hundred people, while the gathered population of the Black Sand Tribe already exceeds eighty thousand, a vast dark crowd.
Judging by the motive of the Black Sand Tribe, unless Ye Zhen opposes, it seems everyone desires to kiss his feet.
Letting them kiss until when?
At the thought, Ye Zhen intends to finish this uniquely Sha Clan divine worship ceremony.
But just as Ye Zhen is about to end it, within Ye Zhen’s Xuan Palace, the Primordial Spirit suddenly trembles.
The originally two-inch Primordial Spirit suddenly swells slightly, growing a tiny bit, becoming two and a quarter inches.
This change instantly stuns Ye Zhen.
Ye Zhen’s shock has a reason.
Since forging the Primordial Spirit three and a half years ago, Ye Zhen’s Primordial Spirit has been slightly over two inches. Being a Four-colored Primordial Spirit, Ye Zhen’s cultivation growth has been extremely slow.
It’s apt to describe it as slow as a snail.
Counting the time spent cultivating within the Mirage Dragon Pearl’s temporal sequence space, during these three and a half years, Ye Zhen’s actual arduous cultivation time totals more than eighteen years.
Moreover, each time he cultivates, he uses High Grade Thought Spirit Pills, yet, during those eighteen years of arduous cultivation, Ye Zhen’s Primordial Spirit cultivation has only increased from two inches to two inches one.
It can be said to be extremely slow.
And once a martial artist’s Divine Soul is forged into a Primordial Spirit, its strength mainly depends on two aspects: one being the grade of the Primordial Spirit, with four-colored Primordial Spirits stronger than three-colored ones, and five-colored Primordial Spirits being more powerful than four-colored ones.
Then, it depends on the size of the Primordial Spirit.
Even in the same grade, a two inches one Primordial Spirit is undoubtedly stronger than one of two inches, and a two inches two is more powerful than a two inches one Primordial Spirit.
Furthermore, the increase in Primordial Spirit size isn’t merely an increase in height.
A martial artist’s Primordial Spirit is a miniature version of the martial artist’s true body, and every inch increase is a holistic enhancement from height to width and length.
When the Primordial Spirit grows an inch taller, it’s not merely height; the Primordial Spirit, which resembles a baby, matures a bit overall, which is a comprehensive enhancement.
Thus, the improvement of Primordial Spirit cultivation is exceedingly slow.
Ye Zhen remembers clearly that his Primordial Spirit was improved to two inches one while on Five Immortals Island, after arduous cultivation for ten years within the Mirage Dragon Pearl Sequential Space, plus the previous five years of strenuous cultivation in the Mirage Dragon Pearl space while in Luoyi.
A total of fifteen years, barely elevating the Primordial Spirit from two inches to two inches one.
But now, just in this little while, Ye Zhen’s Primordial Spirit has risen from two inches one to two inches two.
Don’t underestimate the increase of one-tenth of an inch; with this tiny improvement, Ye Zhen already perceives an enhancement in controlling and wielding several Acquired Spirit Treasures.
What further astonishes Ye Zhen is that his Primordial Spirit continues growing beyond two inches two, advancing at a speed that, in Ye Zhen’s feeling, seems it won’t be long before his Primordial Spirit could reach two inches three.
A hundred years an inch, a thousand years a foot!
This phrase refers to the pace of martial artists’ Primordial Spirit improvement, growing an inch every hundred years and a foot every thousand years, which is considered fast.
Moreover, this speed refers to the martial artists of the Human Clan with three-colored Primordial Spirits.
If it’s a four-colored Primordial Spirit, achieving the same growth would absolutely require doubled time.
In later stages, each inch of Primordial Spirit elevation accumulates over time.
Yet, now, Ye Zhen’s four-colored Primordial Spirit completes what took over ten or twenty years previously, in a very short time.
Ye Zhen is not a fool.
Because at this moment, except for the earnest and frenzied worship of these Sha Clan people, no other unusual events occurred.
"Could it be faith?"
In shock, Ye Zhen dismissed thoughts of ending this reverence ceremony and instead consulted the Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit, Achou.
"Achou, what’s going on here?" Ye Zhen asked.
"Lord Ye, you’ve hit the jackpot, you know? These Sha Clan folks, they’re all fanatics," Achou said.
"Fanatics, what does that mean?" Ye Zhen questioned.
"You know why those sons of the Heavenly Temple gather followers? It’s for this power, the Power of Faith, the Power of Belief!"
"This is the peak and most formidable Power of Belief in the world, possessing the energy to alter heavens and earth, being the only force capable of confronting the Power of Laws of Dao.
Additionally, it’s also the favored strength of Divine Monarchs and Divine Kings, being the ultimate secret to becoming a Creation God!" Achou explained.
Ye Zhen’s pupils contracted sharply, "Achou, are you saying that possessing this Power of Faith allows one to become a Creation God?"
"Your grandpa, you think too beautifully... ah..."
The sound of a whip cracking resounded, "How do you speak to your father?" came Little Demon’s dissatisfied admonishment.
"Lord Ye, he is Lord Ye, my mistake!" Achou showed a face full of gloom, "This power is just one of the key elements to becoming a Creation God, not saying that possessing this power can make one a Creation God."
"Can this power enhance the Primordial Spirit?" Ye Zhen wondered.
"Correct!"
"This faith power stabilizes the Primordial Spirit, heals its wounds, expands the Primordial Spirit’s strength. Do you think those Ancient Gods and God Kings of the Heavenly Temple gather followers just for fun? In essence, it’s for this Power of Faith." Achou stated.
Nodding, Ye Zhen suddenly recalled another matter concerning the True Profound Continent.
"Achou, on the True Profound Continent, I’ve been made into a deity statue, with shrines erected for worship by millions across the continent.
Given their population, even if one percent of the populace worshiped, that number surpasses the Sha Clan’s by millions, so why for all these years haven’t I benefited even slightly?" Ye Zhen asked.
"Indeed, that’s ascribed to the mystery of the Power of Belief!"
