Nine Stars Land.
A certain corner of the starry sky.
The Primordial Emperor initiated a gathering.
Not long after.
The first invited guest arrived.
This was a middle-aged man with a profound aura, precisely the Void Great Emperor, whose true form was that of a Void Dragon.
"Greetings, Primordial Emperor!" The Void Great Emperor was the first to offer a greeting.
The Primordial Emperor gave a gentle smile. "Congratulations on attaining the Great Emperor position!"
"Just a fluke! A fluke!" The Void Great Emperor chuckled.
This wasn't just modesty;he truly had been fortunate to obtain a Dao Source Star, which allowed him to successfully break through his limits.
The Primordial Emperor smiled faintly. "Void, you're being modest. The others who obtained the Dao Source only saw a slight, minuscule improvement in their cultivation. You were destined to become a Great Emperor!"
The Void Great Emperor smiled outwardly, but inwardly he was puzzled about why the Primordial Emperor had sought them out. Logically speaking, the four great empires were now all in the central part of the Chaos Continent, making them competitors.
The two hadn't chatted for long before another Daoist entered.
This was a young man wearing a special Daoist robe. A white snake biting its own tail was imprinted between his eyebrows, signifying no end and no beginning, profoundly mysterious.
"Endless, long time no see!" The Primordial Emperor casually greeted him.
"Indeed, it has been a long time. Probably several million Kalpas. It's rare for you, Primordial, to send an invitation. I'm very curious, what do you intend to do?" The Endless Emperor replied with a calm smile.
He glanced at the Void Great Emperor and praised, "Void, congratulations to you!"
"Thank you!" The Void Great Emperor replied offhandedly.
After waiting a moment longer, another figure walked in. It was actually a woman, her coldly beautiful face showing not a hint of a smile.
This was the Severing Ancient Emperor.
During her Imperial-level days, with just herself and a spear, she fought within the River of Time and Space. Alone, she severed the ancient ages, slaughtering over twenty powerhouses of the same realm, her might shaking the entire Chaos Continent.
Her icy eyes turned towards Primordial. "Everyone is here. What is the matter?"
The Primordial Emperor spoke gravely. "You should all be aware that during this period, two Dao Lords have ascended!"
The three had anticipated that the Primordial Emperor would discuss this matter and all nodded in acknowledgment.
"But have you considered one thing? Before their ascension, were these Dao Lords already Great Emperors? And in all these past years, have we ever encountered other Great Emperors? Since two Dao Lords have broken through, it implies the number of hidden Great Emperors is extremely high. There is a significant problem here!" The Primordial Emperor's expression was heavy.
The Void Great Emperor swept his gaze over the other two. Seeing neither intended to respond, and being the weakest in strength here, he took up the conversation. "That seems normal. The Chaos is so vast. Beyond the Chaos Continent, there is the boundless God Realm Sea, numerous Chaos Islands, and even the void, etc. It's normal we haven't discovered them."
The Primordial Emperor said solemnly, "Is that so? Then why have the two Dao Lords who recently broken through also left not a single trace? Apart from knowing which Dao Principle they broke through, we don't even know their titles! This means that after ascending to the Dao Lord level, there might still be a great crisis! Thus, the Dao Lords are forced to conceal themselves!"
The Endless Emperor finally revealed a trace of gravity at this point. "So you're saying those Great Emperors hiding themselves isn't without reason. They were avoiding the crisis at the Dao Lord level from the very beginning, while we have been exposed to that crisis. If we get the chance to break through to Dao Lord, we will also encounter a great calamity!"
The Severing Ancient Emperor's expression changed, her brows slightly furrowing. She too realized the severity of the situation.
"If we simply cannot break through to Dao Lord, then it should be fine. Those existences at the Dao Lord level and above likely have no interest in dealing with us. But... within the Nine Stars Land, there is an opportunity for Dao Lord ascension. Although the hope of breaking through is slim, it's not completely nonexistent."
The Primordial Emperor continued, "We are currently far too weak. If we continue fighting amongst ourselves, then none of us need to cultivate anymore. I hope we can form an alliance to deal with the potential dangers! Let's not even talk about the crisis after becoming a Dao Lord for now. What we are about to face is a crisis from powerhouses of the same realm!!"
"Those hidden Great Emperors, knowing about the opportunity within the Nine Stars Land, will inevitably make their moves. I don't want us fighting to the death while someone else stabs us in the back!"
The Void Great Emperor was secretly alarmed. He had just broken through to Great Emperor and was in a time of high spirits. Why did it suddenly feel like he had discovered he had actually become weaker?
"So how do we cooperate?" The Endless Emperor shook his head. "We all want the Dao Source Stars in the Nine Stars Land."
"Naturally, whoever obtains one keeps it. We cannot fight amongst ourselves. Instead, we must present a united front against outsiders!" The Primordial Emperor said flatly.
Hearing this, the Void Great Emperor truly wanted to agree. He had just broken through to Great Emperor;his foundation was too shallow!
The Endless Emperor asked, "That's acceptable. But how do we deal with the Dao Lord calamity? If this isn't resolved, the alliance won't last long either."
The Primordial Emperor sighed. "I don't know how to resolve this matter either. The best method would have been to conceal ourselves from the very beginning. But we are already exposed. Trying to hide now is extremely difficult. I have an immature idea: observe a Dao Lord who is already exposed. What crisis will he ultimately face after ascending to Dao Lord? Then we can figure out a solution."
The Endless Emperor was startled. "What do you mean? You've discovered a future Dao Lord who hasn't yet ascended to that level?"
"Correct!" The Primordial Emperor confirmed. "I have indeed discovered a young man possessing the Status of a Dao Lord. He is destined to become a Dao Lord!"
The three fell into silence, not expecting the Primordial Emperor to release such earth-shattering news.
"In that case, I agree to join this alliance!" The Endless Emperor stated firmly.
The Void Great Emperor also said, "I agree as well!"
The Severing Ancient Emperor gave the Primordial Emperor a deep look. The information Primordial provided was far too important for them. And after revealing this information, the Primordial Emperor would inevitably occupy the leading position within the alliance.
However, the Severing Ancient Emperor indeed valued this information greatly, so she also nodded and said, "Fine, I'll join."
The Primordial Emperor revealed a smile. "Pleasant cooperation!"
Soon, the four forged the Great Emperors Alliance.
And the Primordial Emperor indeed obtained the leading position. That is, on certain decisions, he held two votes of deciding power, while the others only had one vote each!
At this moment, the Endless Emperor finally understood why Primordial had invited Void, this guy who had just broken through to Great Emperor. How cunning.
"That person is a disciple within the Seven Stars Sect in the Seven Stars Realm Sea, named Lin Feng!" The Primordial Emperor revealed the answer.
The Void Great Emperor's heart shook. He knew the Seven Stars Realm Sea wasn't simple, but he hadn't expected it to be this extraordinary, actually hiding a Dao Lord! Fortunately, he had promptly made his son back off, otherwise things would have gotten seriously out of hand.
The Primordial Emperor spoke up. "Now, the first alliance action I propose is—joining the Seven Stars Sect!"
