Everyone’s expressions were deeply shaken.
Nangong Xianweng felt an overwhelming surge of emotions rise in his heart!
The first two lines of this poem spoke of the unparalleled power of the Big Dipper’s seven stars, while the last two lines claimed that Su Yuan, after three hundred days and nights, had comprehended the Great Dao and mastered the Big Dipper’s seven stars!
What kind of confidence was this?
Of course, he didn’t believe that Su Yuan had truly mastered the Big Dipper’s seven stars at this moment, but he recognized that this showed Su Yuan’s immense confidence!
He had heard legends that even immortals looked up to the myriad stars in the heavens. A mere Golden Core stage cultivator harboring such lofty ambitions could only be described as truly worthy of being a founding patriarch.
Su Yuan looked at everyone, his expression calm and clear as still water: “Today marks my first public lecture. I will briefly discuss nine volumes of my ultimate teachings, focusing in detail on volumes one, four, and nine. Let us begin.”
“The core of my inheritance is the Big Dipper’s seven stars! This is the foundation and also the fruition of the Dao! Man models after Earth, Earth models after Heaven, Heaven models after Nature. Heaven and Earth have wind, fire, and clouds, all containing the ultimate truths of the cosmos. Yet wind can cease, fire can extinguish, clouds can disperse, and the continent has its moments of rise and fall. However, the Big Dipper’s seven stars hang high in the nine heavens, immortal and ageless, indestructible and eternal. Comprehending even a trace of their true meaning allows one to traverse Heaven and Earth freely!”
Hearing this, everyone yearned for it. Nangong Xianweng was also suddenly enlightened. Why did Su Yuan’s ultimate teachings contain so much of the seven-star principles? It turned out this was the path of the future Dao.
His own Transformation Spirit cultivation focused on fire, but what supreme fire could be found in the mortal world? Without fire, there is no Dao, and the path ahead is blocked. Yet the Big Dipper hung high, seven stars shining forever, illuminating the way forward. In terms of intent, it was infinitely more exquisite than his own!
This path led directly to immortality;perhaps after becoming an immortal, one could continue climbing along it. Such great goodness, such great goodness indeed!
The other Transformation Spirit elders and Nascent Soul elders who secretly listened each showed expressions of enlightenment and admiration. Many sighed with regret, bluntly stating that the Dao path was hard to change and that they were fated to miss the immortal path!
Other elder ancestors of the Transformation Spirit realm involuntarily thought about Nangong’s choice. This matter was truly a do-or-die decision. They hadn’t decided yet whether to change their cultivation, which would depend on Nangong’s future and how strong Su Yuan’s achievements would become.
This required time to prove, and with a Transformation Spirit’s lifespan of thousands of years, naturally, they could afford to wait.
While Su Yuan lectured, seven small stars continued rapidly rotating above his palm. Many Golden Core cultivators diligently tried to comprehend the Dao and principles Su Yuan displayed, attempting to grasp some of the cosmic truths.
Su Yuan’s mouth continuously recited the contents of his ultimate teachings.
“I divide my teachings into seven categories, each named after a star. Each can independently form a system. Beginners may choose some to study. Among them, the Tian Shu star is crucial, responsible for connecting Heaven and Earth, and is a required subject. My lecture focuses on Tian Shu, which can be entered through formations and runes...”
Su Yuan began his explanation, unveiling his seven-star theory one by one.
He was not at all worried about others learning his ultimate teachings because, in reality, the true core was the entry [Seven Stars Shine Bright]!
This entry was one of the fundamental roots of Su Yuan’s teachings. Whether it was [Balance of Work and Rest], [Daoist Techniques Naturally], or [Mind Echo], these three were functional entries, but [Seven Stars Shine Bright] was an ability-type entry.
An ultimate teaching founded on system entries was inherently impossible for others to master its true essence. Even Su Yuan himself could not fully explain many abilities. They came naturally to him, with internal principles he couldn’t articulate—how could others possibly learn them?
So Su Yuan was truly open, explaining with all his might without holding anything back.
This made those listening entranced.
Many Golden Core masters were moved. Such a true transmission reaching the heart of ultimate teachings, with Su Yuan setting no barriers and revealing everything without conditions, made people marvel at the founding patriarch’s broad-mindedness.
At this moment, Nangong Xianweng had reached volume eight in his studies. Listening to Su Yuan’s lecture, many previous doubts dissolved one by one. Some overlooked points also broke through repeatedly.
Midway through the lecture, he had almost fully comprehended volume eight and began studying the scriptures of volume nine.
Yet during his comprehension, he still found the hardest part was how to communicate with the Big Dipper’s seven stars. Whether through formations or runes, he could only reach partial understanding. How could he obtain the star’s recognition as described in the scriptures? He could not figure it out.
“Hm?”
During Su Yuan’s lecture, he suddenly noticed the entries [Big Dipper’s Seven Stars] and [Mind Echo] simultaneously lighting up and linking with each other.
This puzzled Su Yuan.
He focused on both lecturing and researching what had happened between the two entries.
His mind activated these two entries.
The next moment, his consciousness seemed to instantly cross an infinite distance, arriving in a star river.
His awareness seemed to cling to a supreme star, vast as an abyss and ocean, immense beyond comprehension and invisible in form.
Yet Su Yuan had a clear realization—this was the Tian Shu star!
He gazed at the star river, seeing six other bright stars shining brilliantly, and two dimmer stars partially obscured within the Big Dipper’s seven stars.
This scene instantly jolted Su Yuan’s consciousness.
“[Balance of Work and Rest] activated five times!”
“[Daoist Techniques Naturally], ignite for me!”
In an instant, countless insights flooded his mind.
The nineteen-second comprehension time was extremely short, but Su Yuan exerted himself to grasp everything he saw!
His understanding of the Big Dipper’s seven stars soared instantly!
The star’s momentum took shape, then broke through into the realm of artistic conception, rushing forward wildly!
Within the Big Dipper’s seven stars, the realms of fire’s burning and wood’s recovery also existed. Both momentum realms surged rapidly. The fire momentum first crossed into the fire conception, and at the very last moment of comprehension, the wood momentum also forcibly advanced into the wood conception realm.
The comprehension time quickly vanished.
A powerful sense of urgency pressed on him, letting him know his consciousness could only stay for a few seconds at most.
He looked toward a certain direction, instantly sending his thought to the earth, crossing endless distance to see a Nascent Soul standing at the center of a Seven-Star Magic Altar atop a mountain peak of the Seven Extremes Sect, attempting to establish a connection with the Tian Shu star!
This was Nangong Xianweng!
While listening to the lecture, he was also using his Nascent Soul to practice!
When communicating with the Big Dipper’s seven stars, he occasionally murmured Su Yuan’s name.
At one moment, he even regarded Su Yuan as the Big Dipper’s seven stars!
This unknowingly triggered the effect of Su Yuan’s two entries!
At this moment, Su Yuan seemed to gain a subtle authority, as if able to grant others a chance to connect with the Tian Shu star!
Previously, his claim of mastering the seven stars was pure boasting, but now the effect of the [Seven Stars Shine Bright] entry seemed to bring him another surprise. Could he stand in for Tian Shu? He tried, but could not.
He could only decide whether to grant Nangong Xianweng the permission to connect with the Big Dipper’s seven stars. This permission was low-level, something many star cultivators could achieve through their own cultivation to establish such initial contact. But it required extremely high star cultivation attainments. Now, Su Yuan could help Nangong Xianweng obtain this tiny permission early.
Suddenly, Su Yuan recalled when he remotely used the Big Dipper’s seven stars and attracted the attention of seventeen Transformation Spirit cultivators. He had kept in mind the seventeen reputation value notifications around five hundred each!
If he now allowed Nangong Xianweng to gain Tian Shu star’s recognition, and someone came calling, perhaps Nangong could take the hit?
Su Yuan thought for a moment and chose to grant the permission.
His consciousness was instantly kicked out of the Tian Shu star, returning to his body on the ground.
His heart was still shocked. His awareness had crossed countless light-years by relying on [Mind Echo] and [Seven Stars Shine Bright], arriving directly atop the true Tian Shu star.
He even felt he had come beyond the mortal world!
The power of entries completely exceeded his imagination!
The linkage of these two entries, combined with the effects of two other entries, made his gains unprecedentedly massive!
He personally saw the Big Dipper’s seven stars and even touched the Tian Shu star. In a way, it was like witnessing the Great Dao itself!
This instantly solidified Su Yuan’s foundation by countless times, who had always cultivated with the Big Dipper’s seven stars as his main vein!
His previous thoughts on creating cultivation methods immediately connected. After the Golden Sand stage came the Golden Bean stage, Golden Pearl stage, and Golden Star stage, all with clear cultivation paths. Even the final Golden Core stage now had an accurate conception for constructing a perfect Golden Core.
Not only Su Yuan, but Nangong Xianweng was also greatly surprised because a beam of starlight seemed to have descended from the Big Dipper’s seven stars and penetrated his mind!
A mark landed on his forehead. At this moment, he seemed to have a slight enlightenment. He had obtained a tiny recognition from the Big Dipper’s seven stars, but even this small recognition could multiply his power in various Big Dipper techniques!
Both consumption and power would be optimized several times over, so a final strength increase of several times was normal!
Nangong Xianweng imagined that when he walked the new cultivation path to the Transformation Spirit realm, his strength would surpass all peaks of the Seven Extremes, or rather, he would be the top figure below the founding patriarch!
The lecture continued. Su Yuan’s main consciousness and the consciousness of Mind Echo were unaffected by each other. On the surface, Su Yuan remained as calm as still water, but inside, he was already bursting with joy.
When he finished the lecture, Su Yuan said: “I have gained much from this lecture. After my seclusion ends, I will add nine more volumes of ultimate teachings. Foundation Establishment disciples who have comprehended volume nine may proceed to study volumes ten through eighteen.”
Nangong Xianweng, who was smiling broadly, suddenly stiffened, staring straight at Su Yuan: “What’s that about? Volumes ten to eighteen? You can comprehend them just by giving a lecture? Are you kidding me?”
