In the span of two and a half months, Ye Zhen led Patan to sweep across forty-three Sha Clan tribes, encompassing millions of people.
Among them were eleven medium-sized tribes and thirty-two small-sized tribes.
In fact, there were ten medium-sized tribes, all of which Ye Zhen initially performed divine miracles for during the first month, claiming as his own sources of belief.
For the remaining one and a half months, Ye Zhen visited only one medium-sized tribe; all other divine miracle sites were small tribes.
This stemmed from a discovery by Ye Zhen.
The smaller the tribe, the more difficult the living conditions and the harsher the environment, the more fanatics are produced. In some small tribes, Ye Zhen slightly exhibited divine miracles, and all the people of the tribe became the most fervent fanatics.
Under the same population, the Sha Clan people from these small tribes contributed more belief power.
In these two and a half months, the power of belief in Ye Zhen’s Xuan Palace has accumulated to a certain extent.
There are tens of thousands of drops, with a volume larger than a watermelon.
Such a large amount of belief power suspended before Ye Zhen’s Primordial Spirit gives him a peculiar feeling.
Thus, Ye Zhen slightly modified his Xuan Palace. Below the Primordial Spirit, at the center of the Seven Mysterious Spirit Palace, he used Divine Sense to transform the Xuan Palace and created a pond to hold those golden water droplets.
Moreover, Ye Zhen slightly quantified this pond; it was oval-shaped with a pointed bottom, which could roughly gauge the capacity of these golden water droplets.
Currently, Ye Zhen possesses approximately two liters, around forty thousand drops, of belief power, that is, these golden water droplets.
The harvest is still immensely abundant, yet Ye Zhen’s Primordial Spirit, after slowly growing to three inches during this time, almost showed no further increase.
Nevertheless, Ye Zhen is quite satisfied with this growth.
The growth from two inches to three inches may seem like an increase of merely half the size, yet Ye Zhen’s Divine Soul Power has more than doubled.
Besides, it’s worth mentioning the Divine Glory Ye Zhen established, which is the Yidongqing Divine Tree Guardian Corps.
As per Patan’s suggestion, the more people, the better for the Yidongqing Divine Tree Guardian Corps. It’s best if all those who have become fanatics are incorporated within Ye Zhen, the Divine Envoy’s influence, especially those with cultivation above the Divine Communication Realm from the included tribes.
In Yizhi Sand Sea, controlling belief and military means controlling everything, becoming the uncrowned king of Yizhi Sand Sea.
However, Ye Zhen felt that it impacted the livelihood of the Sha Clan people too much.
Moreover, unlike the Great Zhou Dynasty, the Sha Clan cannot use powerful war weapons to arm ordinary martial artists, granting them collective strength against Martial Artists of Realm King Realm or even Dao Realm Experts.
Besides, for Ye Zhen, a more flexible elite corps holds greater significance than an ordinary army of hundreds of thousands.
Ultimately, Ye Zhen and Patan divided the Yidongqing Divine Tree Guardian Corps into ordinary corps and Divine Guard Army.
Ye Zhen incorporated all ordinary warriors under his Divine Envoy’s radiant glory into the Yidongqing Divine Tree Guardian Corps. These fanatical warriors swore allegiance to the Divine Envoy, eternally defending the glory of the Sand Sea Heavenly God, while remaining under the leadership of each tribe’s chief.
Without the command of Ye Zhen, the Heavenly God’s Envoy, they don’t make any special movements.
Meanwhile, Ye Zhen extracted experts at the Realm King Realm from each tribe to form a Divine Guard Army within the Yidongqing Divine Tree Guardian Corps.
According to Ye Zhen’s initial thought, one to two martial artists from Realm King Realm were to be extracted from each tribe to form the Divine Guard Army.
However, Patan was even more radical.
He suggested extracting half or even two-thirds of the Martial Artists of Realm King Realm from the tribes under Ye Zhen the Divine Envoy’s glory to form the Divine Guard Army.
Ye Zhen understood Patan’s intentions.
Apart from pure belief, upon returning to the embrace of the Sand Sea Heavenly God, Patan, the Blue Robe Priest, harbors even larger aspirations.
He hopes to climb to a higher peak of power leveraging the glory of Ye Zhen, the Divine Envoy.
This doesn’t contradict Patan’s faith.
Ye Zhen completely comprehends this and more so agrees.
Within this system of belief, with Ye Zhen personally demonstrating divine miracles as the Divine Envoy, it is inherently impossible for Patan to marginalize him.
With one word from Ye Zhen, Martial Artists of Realm King Realm among the mighty Sha Clan people would rush to their deaths.
In this system, Patan’s power is tantamount to Ye Zhen’s power.
Thus, Ye Zhen concurred with Patan’s suggestion, persuaded by a single phrase.
A tightly clenched fist is tens of times more formidable than any single finger.
Concentrating the Realm King Realm experts from the tribes under Ye Zhen is akin to clenching a fist. Even if the defense force of each tribe weakens as a result, no one dares to recklessly bully those tribes.
Because a fist that may strike at any moment will command considerable fear and respect.
Of course, the tribes also cannot be without stationed experts to handle unexpected situations.
Ultimately, Ye Zhen decided to draw half of the Realm King Realm experts from each tribe to form the Yidongqing Guardian Corps Divine Guard Team.
Currently, this Divine Guard Team, entirely composed of Realm King Realm experts, has already reached 126 people, constituting a significant force within the Yizhi Sand Sea.
It is precisely because of the protection of this 126-strong Divine Guard Team, most of whom are fanatics of Ye Zhen, that Ye Zhen’s persuasive power as a Divine Envoy has become increasingly stronger.
Whenever he visits a tribe, even before Ye Zhen exhibits a divine miracle, his identity as a Divine Envoy is first acknowledged.
Under such circumstances, Ye Zhen’s method of bringing various tribes under his influence along the way has changed.
Previously, Ye Zhen would first display a divine miracle. But now, such as with the current tribe Ye Zhen is visiting, the Yuansha Tribe, it is first the chief and warriors of the tribe who confirm Ye Zhen’s identity as a Divine Envoy.
Then, they gather the tribe members, using a ritual devised by Patan that has a distinctly divine flavor, to worship Ye Zhen. Then, amidst their prolonged prayers and supplications, Ye Zhen would perform a divine miracle.
As Patan phrases it, the harder the thing is to obtain, the more precious it becomes, and therefore, the more it is cherished.
So, Patan makes this prayer ritual not only complicated but also rather lengthy.
These Sha Clan people must at least pray devoutly for the better part of a day before Ye Zhen would take action to perform a divine miracle.
In this mode, the proportion of fanatics that appears in each tribe is slightly higher than before.
And at this moment, this scene is playing out in the Yuansha Tribe.
The Yuansha Tribe is a Sha Clan Tribe with over 400,000 people. At this moment, over ninety-nine percent of the tribe members are gathered at the central gathering place of the Yuansha Tribe. Regardless of age or gender, they are all kneeling orderly from all directions with Ye Zhen at the center.
Under the scorching sun, they engage in the most devout prayers, praying for the renewed illumination of the glory of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God, anticipating the arrival of divine miracles, and hoping for the Yidongqing Divine Tree Flowers to bloom throughout the tribe once more.
Such prolonged kneeling under the scorching sun causes many of the physically weaker, even those who are already sick, Sha Clan people to be unable to endure.
Some faint on the spot, some suffer from dehydration and weakness, and some even collapse after falling sick.
Whenever someone collapses, the Divine Envoy Ye Zhen, dressed in a white silk robe, surrounded by a holy aura, would appear beside them.
"The glory of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God is everywhere." With a light chant, the fainted Sha Clan person would wake up as if illuminated by divine light and be in an indescribably good state.
This brings tears to the eyes of the Sha Clan people, yet also leaves them astounded.
Generally, once Ye Zhen begins to display a divine miracle, these people become the first to become his fanatics, and even more steadfast than typical fanatics.
Even after Ye Zhen leaves, these individuals will relentlessly propagate the divine might of Ye Zhen as a Divine Envoy, resolutely uphold the image and authority of Ye Zhen as a Divine Envoy, and allow no form of desecration.
In fact, the method Ye Zhen uses to heal the fainted is exceedingly simple.
It merely involves supplying a bit of Water Spirit Power or Yimu Spiritual Power, bringing them back to consciousness effortlessly.
This method is so simple that not only Ye Zhen but also most of the Realm King Realm experts in the Divine Guard Team can execute it with ease.
However, the issue lies in the fact that even the most ordinary of matters, once carried out by Ye Zhen as a Divine Envoy, holds completely different significance in the eyes of the Sha Clan people.
"It’s about time!"
Watching the hundreds of thousands of Sha Clan people who have been praying for nearly half the day, Ye Zhen nodded and directed his gaze toward the chief of the Yuansha Tribe.
"Your piety and loyalty to the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God have moved this Divine Envoy, and it has led the Heavenly God to bestow a blessing. The glory of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God will forever shine and protect their most devout and loyal followers."
Chanting this aloud, Ye Zhen’s gaze fixated on the chief of the Yuansha Tribe.
The latter, immediately thrilled, offered a storage ring, within which were numerous seeds of the Yidongqing Divine Tree.
As the storage ring filled with seeds slowly floated towards Ye Zhen, the chief, warriors, and all the Sha Clan people of the Yuansha Tribe looked towards Divine Envoy Ye Zhen with eyes full of anticipation.
Ye Zhen, with a motion of his Divine Sense, was about to display a divine miracle in the exceedingly flamboyant manner he previously used, allowing the Yidongqing Divine Tree Flowers to bloom throughout the Yuansha Tribe.
But at that very moment, a voice like the crack of thunder exploded in Ye Zhen’s mind.
"Playing tricks, daring to cause trouble on my turf; you’re truly tired of living."
Almost simultaneously, an immensity of oppressive aura approached rapidly from afar.
In the blink of an eye, that streak of flowing light arrived overhead, where an elder in a golden robe, along with several blue-robed priests and over a hundred temple warriors, revealed themselves with great aggression.
Upon witnessing this scene, Patan below shuddered violently, then immediately transmitted a message to Ye Zhen, "Divine Envoy, the Sand Sea Divine Priest, the person before us is Meng Lixi, one of the Sand Sea Divine Priests from the Yizhi Temple. The top echelons of the few tribes we’ve incorporated under your radiance these days actually belong to this Sand Sea Divine Priest Meng Lixi."
Ye Zhen narrowed his eyes and met the chilling gaze of the Sand Sea Divine Priest Meng Lixi.
After more than two months, the top echelon of the Yizhi Temple, the Sand Sea Divine Priest, has finally responded by sending someone!
