Rather than saying Ye Zhen knew why Meng Lixi had only gathered a little bit of all living beings’ will power over so many years, it’s more accurate to say Ye Zhen understood why Grand Priest Nahar collaborated with him, and why from the very beginning when Ye Zhen displayed divine miracles in the name of a divine envoy, Nahar noticed and paid attention to Ye Zhen.
The reason is simple, in the temples of various tribes, there are statues of Grand Priest Nahar enshrined.
It’s not like with the statues of Grand Priest Nahar enshrined in various tribes, Grand Priest Nahar can monitor each tribe anytime and anywhere.
That’s impossible.
This is still related to all living beings’ will power.
In the past few days, Ye Zhen also chatted with Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit Achou about matters regarding all living beings’ will power.
Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit Achou doesn’t know much about all living beings’ will power, but having stayed alongside his master Lud Li for a long time contributes to his knowledge.
The earthly realm of the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School in the Mystical World is somewhat like the Great Zhou Empire, but there are several mortal nations.
All mortal nations guard the national religion, or in other words, the only legally existing Dao Temple belongs to the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School.
The Dao Temples of the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School enshrine the Mystical Venerable Lud Li and statues of the eight direct disciples.
The statues in these Dao Temples also serve to collect all living beings’ will power.
Even though Lud Li aspired for no more fanatics to exist in this world, it doesn’t mean all living beings’ will power is unnecessary.
On the contrary, to break through cultivation to the Creation Realm, or after breaking through, to become stronger, one cannot do without all living beings’ will power.
The true meaning of Lud Li’s aspiration is merely hoping to obtain all living beings’ will power in a gentle manner.
The disciples of the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School, from time to time, travel to various Dao Temples, inspect people’s suffering, and relieve living beings’ worries.
To put it simply, it means the common people make wishes to the statues in the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School’s Dao Temple, or in pain and despair they appeal to the statues.
Upon receiving the news, the disciples of the Mystical Mechanism Daoist School conduct a brief investigation and, depending on the situation, provide assistance.
There are limits to this, for instance, those who do evil do not receive assistance, etc.
If a wish made in front of Mystic Sky Venerate is fulfilled, the grateful citizens naturally condense all living beings’ will power.
More grateful individuals might worship the Mystical Venerable at home, or visit the Dao Temple to pay respects at regular times, continuously garnering all living beings’ will power.
Lud Li’s way of acquiring all living beings’ will power resembles an equitable transaction.
On the other hand, the methods of others are extremely malicious.
Because all living beings’ will power must be gathered willingly by ordinary people, Lud Li’s few opponents fabricate natural and man-made disasters to evoke willingness, no matter how miserable.
Ordinary common people pray only when faced with difficulties or are cornered without a way out.
Even after receiving a small amount of help, they express great gratitude.
This is also why fanatics are more likely to emerge in the Yizhi Sand Sea.
The Mystical Mechanism Daoist School builds Dao Temples everywhere to extensively gather followers and collect all living beings’ will power, and Mirage Dragon Primordial Spirit Achou, being exposed to it constantly, is aware of some basic elements regarding all living beings’ will power.
For instance, all living beings’ will power, when directly received by someone like Ye Zhen through the worship of believers, will have a minor surge.
Ye Zhen, preaching in the name of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God’s envoy, results in those fanatics going to the temple to pray to the gods after he leaves.
Even without a statue of Ye Zhen, as long as they imagine the figure of Ye Zhen the divine envoy, calling Ye Zhen’s name, he can sense their piety and gain a certain amount of all living beings’ will power.
However, the all living beings’ will power generated from worshiping does not entirely belong to Ye Zhen alone.
Firstly, Ye Zhen relies on the name of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God as a divine lord, thus the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God receives a portion of all living beings’ will power.
Secondly, the remaining all living beings’ will power isn’t entirely Ye Zhen’s.
One must also consider the other enshrined statues in the Divine Temple and the position of the names and statuses of these statues in the temple’s hierarchy and their renown among the people.
Overall, the distribution of this all living beings’ will power is extremely mysterious and complex, tied to the hearts of people, not even a true heavenly god could explain it clearly.
Grand Priest Nahar, as the true ruler and high priest of the Yizhi Temple, enjoys privileges that other Sand Sea Divine Priests don’t.
That is, in all tribe temples throughout the Yizhi Sand Sea, there are statues of Grand Priest Nahar enshrined.
No matter which tribe’s Sha Clan people worship these statues, as long as they offer all living beings’ will power, with Grand Priest Nahar’s renown, he always manages to gain a share.
Of course, this is also due to Grand Priest Nahar’s established reputation.
If it were Meng Lixi, the Sand Sea Divine Priest who has been slain, whose statue was enshrined in all temples, he wouldn’t gain much all living beings’ will power either.
For outside his territory, few Sha Clan people know of Meng Lixi’s name.
The temples in Meng Lixi’s territory only enshrine three statues.
The largest is that of the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God, the smaller one belongs to Grand Priest Nahar, and the smallest is of the Sand Sea Divine Priest Meng Lixi.
Among the three statues, Meng Lixi’s renown is the lowest, the weakest, with a small population under his rule, and not fanatics, the share of all living beings’ will power Meng Lixi receives is naturally very limited.
Yet, Meng Lixi has been ruling this territory for a thousand years, and over a thousand years, some accumulation isn’t insignificant.
However, after viewing the secret techniques for utilizing all living beings’ will power from the Yizhi Temple given by Grand Priest Nahar, Ye Zhen knows this all living beings’ will power has vast uses, almost like divine power.
Moreover, when used to assist cultivation, the results are exceptionally promising.
In just these couple of days, after a brief study, Ye Zhen is eager to use all living beings’ will power for cultivation.
Accumulation is very slow, and there is a need for it in various aspects during cultivation, so the all living beings’ will power that Meng Lixi could retain is naturally very little.
At this time, the statue belonging to Sand Sea Divine Priest Meng Lixi is being removed, while Ye Zhen’s statue as a divine envoy, empowered by the primordial spirit using the secret techniques of the Yizhi Temple, is being respectfully carried into the temple by the Sha Clan people.
Previously, Ye Zhen never paid attention to the temples of each tribe.
Now realizing it, after Ye Zhen displayed his miracles, most of the fanatic Sha Clan people from those tribes often went to the temple to worship when they had spare time.
Even without a statue of Ye Zhen, calling upon the divine envoy name of Ye Zhen, sincerely worshiping can also condense all living beings’ will power.
This wonder of belief lies in the heart, it is ineffable.
The all living beings’ will power contributed by these fanatics, because it occurs within the temple, allows Ye Zhen to receive a part, but the Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God and Grand Priest Nahar, who are also in the temple, receive a share as well.
The specific amount each—Yizhi Sand Sea Sky God, Grand Priest Nahar, and Ye Zhen—gets in this grand distribution feast, Ye Zhen doesn’t know.
But the all living beings’ will power contributed by fanatics is ten to a hundred times more than that of ordinary Sha Clan people, and the volume cannot be withstood.
Even if the apportioned share isn’t much, due to the volume, the all living beings’ will power in Grand Priest Nahar’s Dao Palace is bound to increase unusually; if this were not to catch Grand Priest Nahar’s attention, that would be surprising.
With cooperation with Ye Zhen, a vast amount of all living beings’ will power can be effortlessly obtained, why wouldn’t Grand Priest Nahar do such a good thing?
Ye Zhen thinks this is the fundamental reason Grand Priest Nahar joined forces with him and supported him so much.
Understanding the reason, Ye Zhen doesn’t mind.
After enduring so long, Ye Zhen is well aware that eating alone is dangerous, standing under the big tree of Grand Priest Nahar, Ye Zhen is free to showcase divine miracles and preach to the surrounding.
And Meng Lixi’s territory is enough for Ye Zhen to feast on for quite some time.
Yet, just as Ye Zhen settles down and freely preaches and extensively collects all living beings’ will power, a sudden calamity sweeps through most of the Yizhi Sand Sea within a few days.
