Lin Chen’s temperament was rather fierce, always scorning the threats of others, and naturally, he wouldn’t agree to Blazing Flame Honor’s demands so easily.
"Do you really think I was scared into submission by others? Let me tell you, I definitely won’t hand myself over to you like this."

But Cold Ice Honor understood the bigger picture better; if his senior brother really killed the other party, they definitely wouldn’t be able to obtain the precious artifact.
"Senior Brother, couldn’t you be more cautious? If you kill him now, it won’t do you any good, and we won’t get the artifact."
Cold Ice Honor was wiser than his senior brother, her clever eyes turning as she hatched a plan.

"I repeat my previous words, I hope you cherish this opportunity. If you don’t explain the truth of the entire matter, by then, you’ll be finished."
Lin Chen knew that without room to retaliate, his only option was to agree to the demands and conditions of those before him.
Lin Chen slowly stood up from the ground, determined to concede to those standing ahead of him.
"Fine, I’ll agree to your demands and hand over the legendary artifact, but you must promise me one condition."
Lin Chen knew that he had lost the chance to negotiate equally with them and could only use the artifact in exchange, hoping they would protect that girl.
"Tell us your condition, and we will try our best to meet it." Cold Ice Honor was kinder compared to Flame Venerable.
Flame Venerable was ruthless; though part of a righteous sect, he showed no mercy when killing.

Lin Chen’s gaze carried a hint of threat, as if implying that if his requests weren’t met, they wouldn’t get the artifact and he would seek revenge even as a ghost.
Blazing Flame Honor and Cold Ice Honor exchanged glances and, after a momentary pause, nodded in agreement.
"We can agree to your condition since that girl hasn’t done much wrongdoing, but you’ll need to quickly take us to find the artifact."
When Blazing Flame Honor said this, it was nearly in the tone of an order.
Naturally, Lin Chen didn’t hesitate, nodding firmly as he took a step forward, looking at the person before him, determined to lead them to the artifact.
"Then, with those words as good as a gentleman’s pledge, I’ll believe you. After all, you’re the top figures of the righteous sects, and I will now lead you to find that artifact."
As Lin Chen turned around, no one noticed his fleeting triumphant smile.
Lin Chen initially believed the people around him were extremely clever, only to discover now that they were complete fools.

Lin Chen didn’t refuse their request, turning around and slowly walking towards the mountain cave not far ahead.
Soon after, the group entered the cave together.
As they entered the mountain cave, they found themselves in complete darkness, unable to see anything.
The inside of the cave was quite cold.
Upon entering the cave, Lin Chen suddenly took off his clothes, standing naked in front of everyone.
Cold Ice Honor was incredibly angry inside.
