Then Qin Wan spoke:
"Brother Yun, you’ve seen the strength of this Demon Flame Black Armor Bear. Killing it is very difficult! If we don’t have any other means, it’s regrettable, but I’m afraid we have to leave for now, as our lives are the most important!"
Yun Tianxing steadied himself, gritting his teeth as he looked at the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear not far away, flames rising high. He also glanced at Ning Yan, who was walking away to heal his injuries, and finally made a decision in his heart.
He looked at Qin Wan and Xuan Yan and said:
"My friends, to be honest, I have something here that might help us kill this beast!"
Saying this, Yun Tianxing did not beat around the bush. With a flip of his palm, a round stone plate appeared in his hand, engraved with ancient, profound patterns, looking extraordinary.
"An array plate?"
Qin Wan, standing beside him, immediately recognized the item and asked in surprise.
Yun Tianxing nodded and said:
"This is indeed an array plate, and it’s one that comes with its own formation, called the Three Yuan Demon-Slaying Formation!"
Xuan Yan was also surprised upon hearing this and said:
"I didn’t expect Brother Yun to be skilled in formations. Truly a hidden expert!"
Yun Tianxing showed a slight bitter smile and said:
"I know nothing about formations! This is just a one-time use array plate with a built-in formation, but the pattern in the formation can only be used three times. I used it once before, and its power is astonishing. It should be enough to threaten this Demon Flame Black Armor Bear."
Although the actual power of this Three Yuan Demon-Slaying Formation is unknown, since Yun Tianxing used it once and said so, it should indeed be formidable.
Yun Tianxing continued to say:
"This array plate is extremely precious, so I’ve only brought it out now. But formations all have a range. If the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear doesn’t enter the formation’s range, we can’t do anything. So what we need to do is try to lure the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear over. In this process, we’re bound to engage it in combat. At that time, Brother Xuan Yan, you will be responsible for distraction, and Fairy Qin, you will use your soul power to attack and control the Black Armor Bear. Even a second is enough, and then I’ll activate the array plate. We can definitely deal a heavy blow to the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear!"
Upon hearing Yun Tianxing’s plan, Xuan Yan frowned and said:
"How close does the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear need to be?"
Yun Tianxing thought for a moment and said:
"Within ten zhang* from me!"
"Ten zhang?"
Xuan Yan frowned but still nodded:
"Alright! I’ll draw it over, and then you move, Fairy Qin!"
Qin Wan nodded to indicate no problem.
Immediately, Xuan Yan took a deep breath, his eyes fixed intensely on the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear, and said quietly:
"Power close to the divine realm, let me see your skills!"
With that, he soared into the sky, heading straight for the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear, his body emitting a blazing aura, with red divine energy flowing out like red flames kindling around his body, looking dazzling.
He flew directly towards the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear, and seeing this, the bear let out a roar, its black flames rising, as if a red flame and a black flame were about to collide.
The Demon Flame Black Armor Bear opened its massive mouth, black flames swirling around its body, gathering near its mouth, and in an instant, a black flame shot out like lightning towards Xuan Yan.
However, there was still a considerable distance between Xuan Yan and the bear, and he was already on guard, so he didn’t end up like Ning Yan.
Xuan Yan twisted his body, brushing past the black flame, and by the time the flame disappeared, he was already in front of the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear.
Clearly, Xuan Yan had held back in previous battles, as his current aura was much stronger than before. The divine energy swirling on his gauntlets flowed like molten lava, and even from a distance, one could feel the formidable aura.
Xuan Yan shouted loudly:
"Haha! Big guy, take my punch!"
At this moment, the black flames from the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear’s mouth had just ceased, and then Xuan Yan arrived in front of it, delivering a heavy punch that was like a falling meteor, streaking a long red divine energy trail before hitting the Black Armor Bear’s chin with a mighty boom!
"Boom!"
A dull explosion rang out, and the enormous body of the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear was lifted off the ground, flying back several feet and then skidding a considerable distance on the ground before coming to a stop.
Watching this, Lin Chen couldn’t help but widen his eyes:
"Such powerful strength? If it’s purely physical, I definitely won’t be his match!"
Able to directly knock away a mountain-like Demon Flame Black Armor Bear, it was clear how formidable Xuan Yan’s strength was. Not only Lin Chen, but also Yun Tianxing and Qin Wan showed expressions of surprise.
"Hahaha!"
Having punched the Black Armor Bear away, Xuan Yan felt immensely satisfied, provocatively releasing his blazing aura as he looked at the Black Armor Bear not far away.
"Roar!"
A roar of anger echoed, and the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear appeared before everyone once more. Despite the blow, it seemed unscathed. With its improved strength, its defensive power had greatly increased. Even the heavy blow to its unshielded chin only broke its fur, causing no real damage.
However, Xuan Yan’s actions completely enraged it. It roared furiously, then charged on all fours like a rapidly moving small mountain directly at Xuan Yan.
"Bring it on!"
With enhanced strength, the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear’s speed also increased considerably, and the distance between it and Xuan Yan quickly diminished. Xuan Yan chose not to meet it head-on, retreating while keeping a cautious eye on the bear to avoid any sudden attacks.
The swift pace of both the person and the bear brought them near Yun Tianxing and Qin Wan in no time.
Realizing the distance was appropriate, Xuan Yan suddenly stopped, now very close to the Demon Flame Black Armor Bear!
The bear roared angrily, immediately swiping its massive paw to crush this audacious human. The bear’s giant paw, wreathed in black flames, appeared incredibly intimidating and moved so fast that Xuan Yan barely had time to react!
"I’ll go all out!"
Gritting his teeth, Xuan Yan quickly made up his mind and unleashed his full aura with no reservations, the red divine energy looking even more scorching before he delivered a powerful punch!
