Lu Yun stood his ground, his expression unchanging. With a single thought, the giant dragon formed from his Cyan and Yellow Divine Intent True Qi roared to life, quickly coiling protectively in front of him!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! All six attacks struck the dragon’s body!
Duke Joseph’s rapier struck the dragon’s head, but its tip was instantly shattered by the Divine Intent True Qi. The fist intent of the Great United States’s consul-general vanished like a stone tossed into the ocean, leaving no trace.
The Polar Bear Country’s consul-general, his iron arm hardened by Horizontal Training and wreathed in Divine Intent True Qi, slammed into the dragon’s talon. He was swatted aside, sent flying into the ground with enough force to carve out a massive crater!
The rose petals formed from the France consul-general’s Divine Intent True Qi were swept by the dragon’s tail and utterly pulverized!
The blade qi from the short, old man from Wa Country disintegrated the moment it touched the dragon’s body. With a single swipe, one of the White Fox’s own talons was snapped in two!
As the shockwave rolled out, a thick cloud of dust and smoke filled the air, and the hard-packed earth began to crack and splinter.
When the dust settled, the five foreign consuls-general looked up, their eyes filled with disbelief at the sight of the massive cyan and yellow dragon still coiled before Lu Yun.
The unfortunate White Fox cowered at the rear. She had put all her strength into that last pounce, only to be nearly swatted out of existence by the dragon’s talon.
In the distance, Mr. Mei had already moved to deal with the dozen or so Dark Force monsters. Though only one percent of his Divine Intent True Qi remained in his body, a single finger was more than enough to handle such low-level creatures.
The creatures, all on four limbs, crouched and trembled among the ruins. They possessed no sentience, only a primal instinct to hunt, and would only obey the commands of the Celestial Demons.
But now that the Celestial Demons had their hands full, the monsters were left without direction.
"I can’t let you lot leave this place," Mr. Mei said, raising his hand as red True Qi swirled around his fingertip.
Sensing the threat emanating from this power, the monsters let out low snarls and tried to turn and flee.
"Perish."
With a point of his finger, the red True Qi shot from his fingertip like a nimble serpent, streaking toward the four-limbed monsters!
Wherever the True Qi passed, the monsters shrieked in agony, as if being seared by a raging fire!
One, two, three... within a few breaths, all dozen-plus monsters were dead, their bodies melting into puddles of black fluid on the ground.
Mr. Mei withdrew his hand and turned to look at the distant dark figure, still wreathed by the giant cyan and yellow dragon.
A complex look crossed his face. ’Elder Lu... oh, Elder Lu... just how powerful have you become?’
A few seconds later, the White Fox was the first to collapse. It was already carrying old wounds.
The wound on its chest, a parting gift from Mr. Mei, had been healing with great difficulty.
Now, struck by the dragon talon of Lu Yun’s Divine Intent True Qi, the wound on its broken limb was being madly corroded by Cyan and Yellow Divine Intent True Qi, which clung to it like maggots to bone.
The True Qi crept up from the broken limb, charring fur and melting flesh wherever it passed.
The White Fox desperately circulated the black fluid within its body, trying to resist, but the cyan and yellow True Qi was simply too tyrannical.
An image instantly flooded the White Fox’s mind: countless mountains, so vast they blotted out the sky, crashing down from ten thousand meters above!
Its own will, a torrent of black fluid, was instantly annihilated by the presence of these mountains, not a single drop remaining.
"ARGH!!!" The White Fox’s piercing scream tore through the night sky. Billows of white smoke poured from its massive body, as if something were burning within it.
Just as it was about to be burned to a crisp, the short, old man from Wa Country made a split-second decision!
A flash of blade qi, as fast as lightning, shot out and severed the White Fox’s corrupted limb at the base, the one still entwined with the Cyan and Yellow Divine Intent True Qi. It fell to the ground.
The severed limb tumbled on the ground a few times before being incinerated into nothingness within a matter of breaths, leaving not even ash behind.
The White Fox’s screams finally ceased. It gasped for air, its entire body trembling.
Unlike Mr. Mei’s Divine Intent True Qi, which could be worn down over time, Lu Yun’s was utterly tyrannical.
It wasn’t a tyranny of sheer power, but of a higher order, a higher Realm. The White Fox’s own black fluid was fundamentally unable to resist it.
Upon seeing the White Fox’s wretched state, the short, old man from Wa Country and the other four foreigners felt a flicker of fear.
Severing a limb corroded by Divine Intent True Qi was no small matter.
It was a part of one’s own very essence. Once severed, the main body would suffer unprecedented damage.
Sure enough, the White Fox, which had previously been the size of a tiger, was now visibly shrinking. Its aura had dwindled to an extreme low, and it had nearly failed to maintain its Realm as a Grandmaster of Divine Intent.
Just then, Duke Joseph spoke with grim viciousness, "This isn’t working. We’ll have to use *those* things!"
The words had barely left his lips before the five foreigners—all except the White Fox—charged forward once more!
Their speed was astonishing; five black shadows flitting through the ruins like five bolts of black lightning!
Lu Yun’s Divine Sense had already detected the impending crisis. ’As I thought,’ he mused. ’These guys are banking on their undying bodies to pull that self-destruction stunt again. It’s the favorite move of these Outer Celestial Demons. When they can’t win, they blow themselves up. That’s what Count Thorne did last time. With five of them here now, it’s no surprise they’d try the same thing.’
The five foreigners waved their hands, and ten torrents of black fluid, each as thick as a barrel, shot from their palms and surged toward Lu Yun.
The ten torrents converged, rapidly forming a single, overwhelming black flood. It took the shape of a giant black dragon, opening its cavernous maw to devour Lu Yun!
Seeing this, Lu Yun thrust out a palm. The giant Cyan and Yellow Divine Intent True Qi dragon coiled around him roared and charged to meet the assault!
The dragon’s body tangled with the ten torrents of black fluid, and the collision of the two forces was cataclysmic. A shockwave once again blasted outwards in all directions.
Just then, from less than ten meters away, the five foreigners simultaneously plunged their hands into their chests. The state-of-the-art landmines where their hearts should have been were instantly activated.
Duke Joseph looked up at Lu Yun, a flicker of mad glee in his jade-green eyes. "Daxia People, farewell."
After all, in their estimation, no one could possibly survive such terrifying explosives.
With a world-shattering BOOM, five suns flashed into existence in the night sky, the light so blinding it was impossible to keep one’s eyes open!
Then, a shockwave violent enough to destroy everything surged outwards. The air tore, the ground buckled and flipped, and rubble was pulverized into dust!
In the distance, even Mr. Mei was caught in the terrifying aftershock. He was sent flying, slamming heavily onto the ground!
Ignoring the searing pain racking his body, he struggled to his feet and stared intently at the epicenter of the blast. Flames shot to the sky and thick smoke billowed, obscuring everything from view.
Mr. Mei stood there trembling, finally letting out an anguished roar: "Elder Lu!!!"
There was no response from the distance. Only the sky-high flames continued to burn, and a searing heatwave, carrying with it a column of smoke, rose straight into the heavens.
