Lu Jingjun pushed open the car door and jumped out. He walked over to Wen San and looked down at the man, who was trembling on the ground.
Then, Lu Jingjun placed his sidearm in front of Wen San. "It’s going to be dangerous here soon. Take this to protect yourself."
His clothes were covered in dust, and his face was streaked with soot.
Bullets rained down like a torrential storm, riddling the gate with countless holes. Wood splinters and stone fragments flew everywhere!
Upon hearing this, Yamamoto Ichirō spun around, his eyes bulging so wide they looked like they might pop out. "Baka! What nonsense are you spouting?"
Lu Jingjun didn’t say another word. He turned, got back into the vehicle, and waved out the window. "Forward!"
The news spread like wildfire throughout the entire Wa Country Concession.
As for the Wa Country people, who were usually so arrogant and haughty, they were naturally gunned down one by one!
"Where is Mr. Watanabe? Did he win?!"
Above ground, the sound of gunfire shook the heavens. The shots were as dense as rain, coming in wave after wave, making one’s eardrums ache.
The glass on the doors had long since shattered, the window frames were blown to smithereens, and the walls were covered in a dense pattern of bullet holes!
"Baka!" Yamamoto Ichirō emerged from the Consulate in a sorry state, leading several hundred men.
Several glass jars were also arranged neatly on a shelf, containing various organs preserved in liquid.
Wen San reached out and took the gun. Then he stood up and gazed in the direction of the Wa Country Consulate.
When Consul Yamamoto Ichirō saw the devastating scene around him, he was about to go mad with rage.
They were the Wa Country’s most elite assassination unit: Ninja. Each was clad in a pitch-black, tight-fitting uniform, with only their eyes exposed.
Lu Jingjun stood at the very front, wielding a light machine gun and spraying the Consulate’s main gate with wild abandon!
After everyone had left, only Wen San remained, crouching on the ground and staring at the gun.
Behind him were hundreds, even thousands, of soldiers and martial arts school disciples, as well as the civilians who had just been given guns!
"Damn foreigners! And those running dogs! I’m not fucking pulling a cart anymore!"
’Such a familiar face... yes, it’s Lord Lu’s face. He looks exactly like Lord Lu did over a decade ago.’
Then, several grenades were thrown into the Consulate. In an instant, flames shot into the sky, and billowing black smoke blotted out the sun as the entire Wa Country Consulate was immediately engulfed in a sea of fire!
"Kill! Kill those animals!"
Just then, a Wa Country man in a lab coat reported to Yamamoto Ichirō, "These Daxia People are too weak. They die if we use even a little force. They’re completely failing to meet the experiment’s requirements."
"Take these to protect yourselves! Follow us to eradicate the Wa Country Concession! From this day forward, this is no longer their territory! It’s our own!"
Deep in the basement of the Wa Country Consulate, the lights were dim. The air was thick with the heavy stench of blood and rot.
The next second, Consul Yamamoto Ichirō pointed at Lu Jingjun, who was standing at the front, and roared maniacally:
Naked bodies were hung from iron chains, their hands bound behind their backs and hoisted high so their feet couldn’t touch the ground.
"Kill! Kill these animals!"
Cuts from knives, punctures from needles, and burns—the wounds crisscrossed their bodies, a shocking sight to behold.
"I’m going to take my two sons and join Lord Lu’s army to kill these bastards."
A dozen or so military vehicles roared deeper into the concession, with over a thousand soldiers following close behind in neat formation.
The street vendors, who had been so oppressed by the patrolmen that they couldn’t even hold their heads high, each received a gun and charged toward the Wa Country Consulate with bloodshot eyes!
Along the way, wherever Lu Jingjun’s convoy of military vehicles went, soldiers would get out and distribute guns to the crowds of common people who flocked to them.
"Avenge our dead!"
"This is the territory of our Wa Country! How could those damn sick men of Daxia possibly break in!"
The words had barely left his lips when a hundred black figures shot out from behind him!
Their bodies were like livestock waiting to be slaughtered, covered in a dense network of wounds.
Wen San was stunned. He stared wide-eyed, looking at the gun in front of him, then at the young man.
The signs of Wa Country shops were smashed, and their "meatball" flags were torn down and trampled underfoot.
Several Wa Country men in white lab coats were gathered around an iron table, writing something down. Among them was the Wa Country consul, Yamamoto Ichirō.
"This is terrible! Honorable Consul! Those Daxia People have gone crazy! Their army has broken into the Consulate!"
Before Yamamoto Ichirō could respond, a Wa Country soldier in a military uniform came stumbling and crawling into the room.
Some wounds had already festered, turning black and oozing pus. Others were still seeping blood, which dripped to the floor, drop by drop, pooling into small, dark red puddles.
"Reporting to the Honorable Consul, we have no news of Mr. Watanabe! We only see an army attacking our Consulate from outside!"
Intimidated by Yamamoto Ichirō’s presence, the Wa Country soldier answered, trembling.
Others hung with their heads lolling, eyes half-open, lips purple. They had clearly been dead for a long time, but their bodies were simply left hanging, unattended.
"Kill that Daxia man!"
"Gun in hand, follow me!"
"Honorable Consul, I must ask you to secretly capture some Martial Artists for the experiments. It would be best to get some of those stronger Daxia Anjin Martial Artists who have trained in martial arts."
They swarmed toward Lu Jingjun from all directions. Lu Jingjun watched the approaching black figures, a cold smirk playing on his lips.
