Leaving behind the Law Enforcement Knights who blocked the Sky Port, Li Ang walked on the dock and saw more teams of Law Enforcement Knights patrolling under the distant sky.
The Sky Port is located on a floating ring outside the city. Here, the protective barrier of the Magic City is weaker, and the light is dimmer, making it easier to see the scenes in the distant sky. It seems that all the Law Enforcement Knights have been deployed, indicating that the entire city is indeed under martial law.
But this martial law... doesn’t seem to be a decision made by Thousand Tower City. This place is very different from the militarized Sky Island; they would never treat outsiders with such an attitude.
Following his steps, Lily and Diao walked to the side of the Eternal Summer.
"Wow, this is the Eternal Summer. It’s really beautiful."
Li Ang hadn’t mentioned the questions on his mind to the two yet, so they thought this was just an unconventional way to enter the city. The Dragon Witch, who feared nothing, and the Ancient Witch Maiden, who had no sense of external rules, didn’t mind at all, focusing only on admiring the Eternal Summer.
Seeing his ship again, Li Ang had to admit that in terms of beauty, it was indeed top-tier. The regular, beautiful wood grain formed the base on the surface. Although the ramming horn, the ship’s figurehead, and other features weren’t particularly matching in style, with this foundation, it still looked better than some airships specially designed for appearance.
"Will Zoe be on the ship?" Lily shook Li Ang’s arm vigorously.
"Pro-probably, maybe, stop, stop shaking!"
Li Ang held her hand, as Lily’s monster strength made it difficult for him to speak clearly while being shaken.
The black-haired girl bit her lip, took several deep breaths, patted her cheeks, and began to get nervous.
There was expectation in her eyes, but also unease and a bit of trepidation with nowhere to place it once they reunite.
Li Ang felt that maybe because he had buried the expectation of reunion deep in his heart, Zoe might not be as excited if they truly met. In this aspect, the expected mother-daughter reaction seemed reversed.
However, in appearance, there seemed to be no age difference between them, which oddly gave a sense of inversion.
Shaking his head, Li Ang smiled, "Let’s go, the time will come, won’t it? You also have to live here from now on, and I’ll need to pick rooms for you."
"I like it here. I didn’t expect to hear the voice of the Forest Spirit." Diao nodded with a smile.
She looked at the tender branches and vines growing from the blessed Treasure Wood, which were even more lush and thrived in Gorasis’ cold air.
"Those guys slacked off and didn’t trim the branches." Li Ang laughed.
He spoke to Diao about the ship’s materials and the Star Soul of the Creation Tree, lifting them in a wind swirl and flying up.
The Eternal Summer was currently docked and hadn’t lowered its boarding ladder, so the three of them had to go this way.
Although smiling while talking to Lily, once he turned his face, Li Ang’s smile vanished.
With Thousand Tower City in this situation, even if the members of the Star Flower Travel Corps stayed on the ship, would they be in a normal state?
As soon as they boarded the ship, Li Ang felt that something moved amid the overly lush shadow of leaves not far away.
All three glanced over, and with the sound of wings flapping, a burst of rainbow scale powder exploded into a cloud of rainbow light, and a Fairy Dragon, nearly two meters wide with wings, flew over trailing brilliant light.
"Great Witch, be careful!" Diao said.
"It’s fine, this isn’t an enemy."
Li Ang was about to raise his hand to catch it, but Sruder directly collided into his arms, her soft suction-cup paws holding onto his face.
"Alright, alright, Sruder, come down."
Li Ang broke free from the grip of the dragon, who was whimpering like a puppy, and explained to the two next to him, "This is a Fairy Dragon nurtured on the ship, a member of the Star Flower Travel Corps."
"Li Ang! You’re finally back!" Sruder exclaimed.
"You can talk now?" Li Ang asked in surprise.
Her voice was sweet with a young girl’s timbre, but it was much clearer than ALulu’s; Xiaoniu’s was the soft and glutinous one.
"Yes, I grew quickly because I’ve been getting closer to Livi and Anna every day, as well as the power of the forest."
Sruder flapped her wings, looking like a gorgeously large butterfly, laying on Li Ang’s back, sticking her head out beside his ear.
If she had done this before, she would just be like a dragon kin’s backpack, but now, her wide wings spread out from his sides, making him look like a forest fairy with butterfly wings as in legends.
Li Ang glanced at the status panel; this little dragon had already grown to Tier Six. That speed was undeniably fast. The power of the Forest System was truly formidable.
Perhaps, it was also due to the presence of Inanna’s power throughout the breeding ground. Now, she could be considered a most complete of the Six Dragons, and if her actual body resided in the Sky World, dragon demons might spontaneously appear around her.
But this little dragon... surprisingly didn’t use honorifics for Leviathan and the Earth Serpent Dragon, and judging by her tone, she was already starting to scheme a bit at a young age.
Seeing the Fairy Dragon was on their side, Diao and Lily also stepped forward.
"Hello, I’m Diao."
The brown-skinned girl extended her hand, connecting with the natural environment of the Eternal Summer like engaging with a natural creature, emitting the purest aura.
Sruder sniffed her, and licked her with a powdery tongue, "Are you another of Li Ang’s new spouses?"
Diao’s face went from shock to shyness to anticipation, "I, well, not yet..."
Liluliss stepped forward, and Sruder was startled.
"Wh-who are you, a Dragon God?" She retracted her head onto Li Ang’s shoulder, hiding behind his back
