Su Chen whispered softly, his tone almost gentle.
With a single thought, he cleverly placed a gravity anchor on her lower body.
An intense gravitational force pressed down hard.
But in the next instant, the woman before him, her potential unlocked, surged upward with all her might. The burst of speed was too ferocious for her to control. Caught between the two opposing forces, her midsection exploded in a warm mist of blood as her muscles, sinews, and bones were all torn apart.
She had been literally torn in half by the force of her own escape.
A small, spur-of-the-moment trick had easily claimed her life.
Droplets of warm blood spattered through his tattered Telekinesis Barrier, landing on his left cheek and collar. It added a touch of cold, merciless cruelty to his handsome face.
RAT-A-TAT-TAT!!
The roar of heavy gunfire erupted once more.
Oran City didn’t prohibit firearms. Not only did the city have all sorts of gun shops, but it also maintained its own armories. Some other factories with precision machine tools could also be converted to manufacture weapons.

After absorbing the Spirit Marrow Crystal, Su Chen immediately hurled the woman’s head at his opponent.

The Demon Warlock didn’t even glance at it, swatting it apart with a single claw.
As the head exploded, nine Runes of varying tiers fanned out like confetti, showering down in a spray of blood mist.
This move undoubtedly tempted the gang’s undisciplined members; at the very least, some of the eyes fixed on Su Chen were drawn away.
But Su Chen advanced instead of retreating.
CLANG!
The Holy Sword was unsheathed.
In an instant, the blade was wreathed in Plasma Holy Flame that fluttered like silk.
Facing the Demon Warlock, who radiated a thick, sinister aura of evil, Su Chen charged and swung. His Steel Bones and Iron Flesh trait activated with a roar. The muscle fibers in his arms contracted and swelled at an overclocked frequency, like steel cables, channeling immense force into the hands gripping the Holy Sword.

Sword and claw collided, sending sparks flying. For a brief moment, they were locked in a stalemate.
A flicker of astonishment crossed the Demon Warlock’s hideous face. His opponent could actually match him in strength.
’No, that’s not right...’
In less than half a second, an overwhelming, torrential force crashed down, and the balance was instantly broken.
The Plasma Holy Flame poured from the sword’s tip.

The Demon Warlock’s claws cracked first, and black blood splattered. As his body was sent flying backward like a cannonball, a stream of high-temperature particles instantly burned through his demonic flesh.

Someone else shouted in agreement.
A moment ago, most of them had been too preoccupied to notice anything else, but two bodies were now lying silently within the valley.
One had been holding a modified riot shield, the other a fantasy-style round shield. The stealthed Yan Ruoruo had slipped into the valley and exploited their subconscious instinct to block with their shields, successfully sending two Spiritual Energy Arrows straight through their heads.
Upon impact, there were no external wounds, but their central nervous systems had been destroyed from the inside.
That wasn’t all.
There was also a sniper providing support from a distance. Although some shots had missed, one over-the-horizon bullet had still blown a gunman’s head clean off, making it difficult for everyone to focus solely on Su Chen.
