The airplane continued to slowly approach that area of thunder!
The tense atmosphere spread throughout the cabin, everyone was staring ahead, uncertain of what they were about to face.
Meanwhile, Lin Lang’s Divine Sense had already extended far ahead:
[Ao Yuan] (Flood Dragon Race)
[Combat Power: SS]
[Ability: Wind and Cloud (Level 9); Divine Body (Level 10)]
"Encountered an old acquaintance... oh no, an old dragon!"
Lin Lang smiled lightly!
This Ao Yuan was the prince of the Flood Dragon Race!
Zhi Xi’s brother-in-law!
He had crossed paths with him in the palace of the Merfolk Race!
The airplane gradually approached the storming thunder zone!
When close enough, through the dense lightning and dark clouds, they finally saw the terrifying presence within—
They saw a massive Flood Dragon coiled at the thunder’s center!
Ao Yuan’s body was dozens of meters long, like a moving small mountain.
His body was covered in dark blue scales, each one shimmering with a cold luster, as tough as if cast from steel. His dragon whiskers danced wildly in the storm, like agile steel whips.
A pair of giant dragon eyes, like two burning blood-red lanterns, emitted a fierce, terrifying light.
At the moment, those dragon eyes were glaring intensely at the airplane, revealing endless anger.
The storm clouds churned violently above his head, resembling a black ocean!
From time to time, lightning, as thick as a bowl, struck down like furious dragons, hitting Ao Yuan’s body, exploding with deafening roars.
However, Ao Yuan endured it all with his immense strength!
Each lightning strike made his body tremble slightly, yet it fueled his anger even more.
Those witnessing the scene from the airplane were deeply shocked.
Their faces were full of fear and disbelief, mouths wide open as if they could fit a fist inside.
In their imagination, even though they’d heard tales of the Eastern Flood Dragon Race, never did they expect to witness such a scene.
Ao Yuan sensed the threat the airplane posed, determined that these unwanted visitors came to disrupt his tribulation.
His massive dragon head took a violent swing, letting out a world-shaking roar.
Then, a lightning as thick as a water cylinder, carrying a world-destroying momentum, like a dazzling long spear, stabbed straight towards the airplane.
"Quick, evade!"
Rachel shouted loudly, her voice tinged with a hint of unstoppable fear.
Chaos ensued inside the airplane, Kevin and others turned pale, yet had to quickly react.
The special forces members hurriedly manipulated the new weapons, firing crazily at the incoming lightning.
However!
The bullets melted immediately when they contacted the lightning, turned into wisps of blue smoke floating in the air.
Xina was preparing to use a Summoning Technique, but then!
Lin Lang pulled her back, calmly saying:
"Don’t mind them."
Though anxious, Xina still listened to Lin Lang, withdrew her aura, and stood beside him.
Rachel used her Superpower—
Gathering a giant Ice Shield to protect the airplane!
But Ao Yuan’s lightning was too strong, if only with a light bump!
Rachel’s protective screen shattered like fragile thin paper, dispersing into countless light spots.
Kevin gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead, as he firmly grasped the control lever of the airplane’s heavy weapon!
Recklessly fired powerful shells at Ao Yuan.
The shells, with sharp whistles, rushed at Ao Yuan like meteors, exploding around him.
For a moment, flames soared, thick smoke billowed, and the huge explosion deafened everyone.
However, as the smoke cleared, Ao Yuan remained unscathed, coiled calmly.
His massive body under the lightning appeared more majestic and terrifying.
He glanced at the airplane dismissively, as if mocking these overestimating humans.
Kevin and the others felt deep despair at this scene.
They realized that against such a strong Flood Dragon, their resistance seemed so futile, the shadow of death drawing ever closer.
"Is this the demon of the Eastern Country?"
Just as everyone sank into despair, believing disaster was imminent!
The silent Lin Lang moved.
He looked calm, stood slowly, his aura suddenly changing.
Previously peaceful, now he appeared as if the ruler of heaven and earth, a boundless and invisible pressure emanated from him, expanding outward.
Lin Lang did not use any fancy Magic, simply raised his hand, and slapped at Ao Yuan from afar.
This seemingly ordinary slap contained world-shattering power.
A sharp explosion echoed, as if the Space was torn by this force.
A golden palm print, like a towering mountain, rushed towards Ao Yuan with overwhelming power.
Ao Yuan, initially dispersing wildly and ignoring the people on the airplane.
Yet when the golden palm print came, his massive body involuntarily trembled.
He felt an inner fear rooted in the soul—a reverence for absolute power!
"A-Again True Dragon aura?! How is this possible!"
Before he could react, the golden palm print heavily struck his body.
"Boom!" a huge noise!
Like the collapse of heaven and earth!
Ao Yuan’s huge body, like a fallen kite, was slapped away directly.
He rolled several times in the air, crashing into distant clouds, splashing a huge cloud wave.
Ao Yuan struggled to rise, but found his body in great pain, scales shattered, blood continually flowing from wounds.
Most terrifying of all!
In Lin Lang’s slap, he sensed an ancient and sacred aura—
True Dragon’s aura!
This aura made his soul tremble, as if faced with the supreme ruler of the Dragon Race.
Other Flood Dragon Race members hidden nearby, watching Ao Yuan’s tribulation.
Felt the True Dragon aura, they were instantly frightened witless.
Without hesitation, they transformed into flows of light, fled in panic, and vanished completely.
The few people from the Beautiful Country, including Kevin, Rachel, and the special forces members, were stunned by the scene.
They stared wide-eyed, mouths agape, almost able to fit a fist inside, expressions frozen in shock as if time stood still.
They couldn’t fathom that Lin Lang, always disregarded by Kevin, possessed such terrifying power!
A single slap had floored the arrogant prince of the Flood Dragon Race and scared the entire race into retreat!
It took a while for Kevin to swallow hard, voice trembling:
"Is this... is this still human?"
The arrogance and contempt in his eyes were replaced with deep reverence and fear.
Xina looked at Lin Lang, eyes full of admiration and surprise, as if recognizing the man anew!
Rachel took a deep breath—
Thankfully she invited Lin Lang to join.
Otherwise!
They would most likely have perished today!
