Lin Lang waited outside the door for a moment.
He didn’t get a response from Lü Su Ran.
But the door opened directly.
Lin Lang walked in naturally, smiling:
"Did you forget the password?"
Lü Su Ran looked at him, but seemed a bit puffed up:
"What’s with this password? All-inclusive, take me with you... Are you taking advantage of me?"
So this girl just realized that now?
She’s really quite slow.
Lin Lang didn’t admit anything, he just took out a few small bottles from Space and handed them to her:
"Here’s your medicine."
Lü Su Ran looked at these variously shaped small bottles and without realizing, her eyes began to redden slightly.
Then she lowered her head and said softly:
"I saw you asking around for medicine for me in the group. Thank you."
Lin Lang laughed:
"How do you plan to thank me?"
Lü Su Ran looked up, very seriously:
"But I have nothing left."
Lin Lang suddenly moved closer, wrapped his hand around her slender waist, and looked down into her eyes:
"Come to my place, all-inclusive, are you willing?"
Lü Su Ran instinctively struggled.
But she couldn’t break free.
She looked up and met Lin Lang’s eyes.
"I..."
But her face instantly blushed.
Lin Lang could feel the warm flush emanating from her face.
And her heartbeat.
It was very fast.
Just as Lü Su Ran’s mind went blank, uncertain how to react.
Lin Lang released her and said:
"Sorry, I forgot you can’t handle excitement. You should take your medicine first."
Playing hard to get.
Perfect tension and release.
This is the essence of a man’s charm.
"Okay..."
Lü Su Ran didn’t expect him to let her go so easily.
She took the medicine in a daze, then suddenly snapped back to awareness.
She hurriedly turned and ran away.
Like a little rabbit fleeing for its life.
She ran to the bedroom.
From under the bed, she took out the purified water Lin Lang gave her, unscrewed it, and swallowed a pill.
"Phew!"
She panted heavily.
Recalling the scene just now, she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed!
Her toes, white as jade, were practically clawing out a three-bedroom apartment on the floor!
That Lin Bulang, doing such an impolite act to her!
But she...
Didn’t really mind.
In fact, it felt quite nice.
Oh my!
Could it be!
I’ve already started to like him?!
"Are you okay?"
At that moment.
Lin Lang’s voice came from outside the door.
"I’m fine!"
Lü Su Ran quickly replied.
She tried her forehead with the back of her hand, still burning hot!
In this state, how could she have the nerve to go out and see anyone?
So she had to say:
"Um, I need to rest for a bit, could you come another day?"
As soon as she said it.
She immediately regretted it!
The deal was already done—she gave him the fruit, and he gave her supplies.
So why would he come back another day?
Lin Lang chuckled outside the door, but said:
"Nope, you have to come see me off, it’s courtesy."
Courtesy huh!
Is there anyone more impolite than you in this world?
At this moment, Lü Su Ran’s face was as red as a boiled crayfish.
There’s no way she’d willingly go out.
Suddenly.
Lin Lang’s voice outside became serious:
"Open the door, there’s a bug that got in."
A bug got in?!
Upon hearing this.
Lü Su Ran’s heart skipped a beat!
But almost simultaneously.
She remembered that last time, Lin Lang used this trick to deceive her into letting him in!
Using the same trick again?
Hmph! I’m not falling for it this time!
But the next second.
The door still opened.
She was still scared—
What if this time it’s true?
If there really was a bug, and she kept Lin Lang out, wouldn’t that be murder?
As soon as the door opened.
Lin Lang slipped inside.
Lü Su Ran was both curious and scared, wanting to take the chance to peek outside.
But Lin Lang immediately shut the door, giving her no opportunity.
So, is there a bug outside or not?
Lü Su Ran wasn’t sure.
But deep down, she hoped Lin Lang was just tricking her.
Otherwise.
How would Lin Lang get back?
"Is it really outside..."
"Shh!"
Lin Lang frowned, his eyes scanning the surroundings.
Then he moved the bedside table to the doorway, wedging the door shut.
Lü Su Ran hurriedly covered her mouth.
She suddenly believed seven or eight tenths!
She didn’t dare to breathe loudly!
Her face quickly turned from its former blush to a pale white!
Her delicate body was trembling.
Lin Lang saw this, reached out and held her in his arms, whispering in her ear:
"Don’t be afraid, I’ll protect you."
Lü Su Ran instinctively tightened her grip on Lin Lang’s arm.
Feeling his solid body.
She finally felt a bit relieved.
Both of them stared at the door, not blinking.
Time ticked by.
There was no movement outside the door.
Lü Su Ran felt her arm start to go numb and gently shifted within Lin Lang’s embrace.
Lin Lang breathed a sigh of relief:
"It should have left."
He released Lü Su Ran.
Then made a gesture as if he was about to open the door to take a look.
"Don’t!"
Lü Su Ran instinctively said.
"What if, what if the bug hasn’t left yet?"
Lin Lang heard this and put his hand down:
"What do we do then?"
Lü Su Ran looked at him nervously.
Lin Lang sighed:
"To be safe, let’s stay a bit longer. If the bug can’t find food outside, it should leave."
After saying this.
He sat down on Lü Su Ran’s bed.
Then looked around.
The room was very clean and simple, the decorations quite minimalistic.
Lü Su Ran nervously asked:
"When will the bug leave?"
Lin Lang sighed and said:
"I don’t know about that."
Lü Su Ran pressed her lips together tightly, not knowing what to say.
Lin Lang patted the spot beside him:
"Don’t keep standing there, come sit, save your energy."
Lü Su Ran hesitated for a while and then sat over.
Lin Lang added:
"Your supplies are stored in this bedroom, right? They should last us a few days."
"A few days?!"
Lü Su Ran was dumbfounded!
How could she stay in a room with a strange man, and for a few days?!
During this time.
What about eating and sleeping?
What about going to the bathroom?!
Would it all have to be dealt with in this bedroom?
Lin Lang wasn’t worried at all, he simply leaned back, laying down on the bed:
"When faced with difficulties, sleep it off! Maybe when we wake up, we’ll find a way out."
Lü Su Ran couldn’t resist giving him a gentle shove:
"You wouldn’t really stay here for a few days, would you?"
Lin Lang closed his eyes:
"Would you rather throw me out now?"
Lü Su Ran gave him another push:
"Is there really a bug outside?"
Lin Lang remained with his eyes closed:
"Do I look like someone who lies?"
Time ticked by, reaching nightfall.
There were vague sounds outside the door.
It could be the bug.
Or it could just be the wind.
Lü Su Ran wasn’t sure, unable to ascertain it.
She sat rigidly on the bed.
Eventually, unable to hold on any longer, she lay down next to Lin Lang.
Staring blankly at the ceiling.
Until deep into the night.
Lin Lang said the light might attract the bug, so he turned off the bedroom light, plunging the room into darkness.
A chilling silence.
Lü Su Ran grew more afraid, uncontrollably moving closer to Lin Lang.
Lin Lang hugged her tightly, feeling her slightly trembling body gradually calming down, becoming warm.
Lin Lang asked:
"Are you afraid of dying?"
Lü Su Ran:
"I’m not afraid of dying, but I’m afraid of pain, and I’m also afraid of bugs."
Lin Lang asked again:
"If we were to die here, do you have any wishes?"
Lü Su Ran was silent for a long time:
"Because of my heart condition, I rarely go out, and haven’t seen the world outside... What about you? If we were to die here, do you have any wishes?"
Lin Lang said:
"I want...you."
A long, awkward silence.
Lin Lang’s hand silently and smoothly slid onto her waist:
"Is that okay."
After a long while.
Lin Lang heard a soft hum from her throat, affirming:
"Mm."
"Here’s something for you."
"What is it?"
"Chocolate, to replenish our energy, making it easier for us to break out later."
