Its five toes were as thick as the roots of a mountain, tipped with sharp, hooked claws. The sole was broad and thick, every crease looking as though it had been carved into rock, exuding a sense of power.
The ankle was covered in overlapping, dark-golden scales.
The leg above the ankle was shrouded in mist, too indistinct to be seen clearly.
Lin Yan’s breath hitched, not from fear, but because in that instant, the Blood Gang within him resonated with the giant foot.
The Blood Gang behind him also began to form a foot, identical to the one in his mind, as if it wanted to step out from the Blood Gang itself.
At that moment, the Eight Desolates Dragon Elephant Technique began to operate on its own. Without any guidance from Lin Yan, his Qi Blood followed the new circulatory path as torrents of Blood Gang surged behind him, as if trying to help the giant foot emerge.
Just then, as if it sensed something, the flowing Blood Essence from the stone wall behind him frantically surged through his fingertips and into his body.
The Blood Gang instantly swelled severalfold, growing much denser and causing the foot to become more corporeal.
The foot’s claws and scales began to take shape.
Just as the foot was about to step out of the Blood Gang, Lin Yan suddenly felt his body go empty. All of his Qi Blood had stopped circulating.
The giant foot vanished, and the Blood Gang behind him dissipated.
Lin Yan’s eyes snapped open, and he discovered that the Blood Essence within the stone wall was completely gone.
The energy from the Blood Essence in the wall was not nearly enough to fully materialize that single foot.
Lin Yan immediately used Introspection to examine his Dantian. The sphere of blood was no longer pale golden, but a pure, solid gold, as dense as a true Golden Core.
His Qi Blood surged through his meridians nearly twice as fast and twice as potently as when he had reached the Blood Exchange Third Transformation.

However, compared to his breakthrough, Lin Yan was more concerned with several other questions.

Lin Yan’s gaze fell upon the stone wall. Even though the Blood Essence was gone, it didn’t stop him from speculating about its origins.

The section of the wall that had held the Blood Essence was cut out by Lin Yan and fell to the ground.

The block of stone shattered into pieces. Lin Yan rummaged through the fragments and finally discovered a Scale.
A single Scale, its surface area as large as his torso.
He ran his fingers over it. The Scale was icy cold to the touch.
’Let’s see how hard it is!’
Lin Yan raised his Abyssal Sword. The Longsword descended, striking the Scale with a shower of sparks. A gash appeared on its surface, but it healed in an instant, leaving it pristine.
’A single shed Scale has such incredible hardness and regenerative ability?’
Observing the Scale closely, Lin Yan was astonished. Although he hadn’t used his full power, the Abyssal Sword was a Spiritual Weapon. At his current Realm, not even his own Thunder Armor could withstand such a strike, yet this Scale was completely unscathed.
’These are excellent Refining Materials. Maybe I can return to the clan and see if this Scale can be forged into a suit of Treasure Armor, or maybe I can use it to upgrade my Abyssal Sword?’
