2779 Morbius’ Transformation! This was why Lin Yuan possessed such rich and abundant faith power.
However, it was not only related to Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Even without them, Lin Yuan’s faith power would still be far greater and purer than that of Kong Huan!
In Kong Huan’s eyes, a Class 2 world was insignificant. However, Lin Yuan’s faith power came from the humans, sea clans, and feys of this Class 2 world!
Lin Yuan had saved the main world when it was only a Class 1 world.
Ever since he became the Moon Empress’ disciple, his trajectory had continued climbing upward, and he received the idolization of all the youths in the Radiance Federation. It was then that Lin Yuan first began accumulating faith power.
Lin Yuan was a young hero in the Radiance Federation who had saved Millstone Town.
The faith power that he had accumulated on every step of his journey was extremely pure.
The dots of faith in the fountain of faith that represented people who first began worshiping him had only grown brighter.
It was very unlikely for such pure faith to exist in the Sky Beyond the Clouds.
Lin Yuan had used Morbius’ Klein Hub to enter the marsh world and open up new lands. In the process, he discovered the marsh world’s secrets and used the Abundance Treasure Tree to take control of all the lifeforms in the marsh world.
The lifeforms from the marsh world provided Lin Yuan with solid faith power that only grew with time.
Even if the new dimensional lifeforms felt animosity toward humans, Lin Yuan was never their target, and they continued to see him as a god. After being taught by the older generation of dimensional lifeforms, all of them became Lin Yuan’s believers.
The same situation took place in the abyssal, water, alien insect, and subterranean worlds.
Lin Yuan collected the dimensional worlds’ faith by taking control of them. On the other hand, he collected faith from the main world and sea clans by saving them.
Lin Yuan’s method of collecting faith power could not be replicated by other lifeforms.
Firstly, no one else had Lin Yuan’s body composition or Morbius. They also did not have the identity of the Saint. Hence, they were unable to create as many miracles.
When Lin Yuan saw Kong Huan’s amazed expression, he felt that it would be better for him to collect faith power from Class 1, 2, and 3 worlds instead of the Sky Beyond the Clouds. It would be easier for him to collect faith power from these worlds, and the faith power would also be purer.
The Endless Gems existed in the dimensional worlds.
However, Morbius needed to use its root power to combine the Endless Gems to create treasures like the Abundance Treasure Tree, Earth Source Cube, and Tide Herb Treasure Conch. Even if others got their hands on one or two Endless Gems, they would not be able to use the treasures to take control of the dimensional worlds.
Previously, Lin Yuan was unaware of this. He only found out by accident after speaking to Spring.
Now that her fountain of faith had Lin Yuan’s imprint, Kong Huan was Lin Yuan’s subordinate.
As Lin Yuan’s subordinate, Kong Huan began absorbing the spirit qi crystal.
As the pure spirit qi entered her body, Kong Huan closed her eyes happily.
At that moment, Kong Huan felt as though she was at a summer festival and had just taken a sip of a cold drink.
She could clearly sense that his pure spirit qi was beneficial for her body.
It could be said that this was the first time she was feeling her bloodline improve at such a rapid rate.
When she was done absorbing the spirit qi crystal, Kong Huan began telling Lin Yuan about the state of her body, “My Lord, given my current state, my bloodline will be able to evolve after I absorb another 7,500 spirit qi crystals!”
Lin Yuan nodded. 7,500 spirit qi crystals were not a large amount to him, and he could offer it with ease.
Lin Yuan did not hesitate to take out a brocade box that contained around 8,000 spirit qi crystals. He handed these spirit qi crystals to Kong Huan.
“I will give you around 500 extra spirit qi crystals. Use these spirit qi crystals and evolve your bloodline as quickly as possible. If you have any other needs, you can tell them to me directly.”
When Kong Huan heard what Lin Yuan said, she bowed to him with delight. “My Lord, the Alluring Foxes and I will be relying on you to nurture us in the future!”
Power and strength had undeniable benefits. This allowed Lin Yuan to acquire Kong Huan.
Currently, Kong Huan could be described as being devoted to Lin Yuan. After Spring led Kong Huan away, she led Fan Lou in.
Fan Lou’s body currently contained the Chaos Wind Demon Wolf bloodline. He had even consumed the Light Wolf Fruits, but the Light Wind Wolf bloodline could not compete with the Chaos Wind Demon Wolf bloodline.
The Chaos Wind Demon Wolves were able to take in so many wolf species as dependent species in the East Universe because they were sufficiently capable.
The Chaos Wind Demon Wolf bloodline came from the Moon-Worshiping Wolf bloodline. In the past, the Moon-Worshiping Wolves were a high and mighty species. They even had a Holy Spirit expert once.
If the Moon-Worshiping Wolves did not end up clashing with that faerie, they would never have fallen so far!
Faeries looked after their own and were domineering. Any species that threatened Faerie Institution’s overall profits would immediately be subdued by Faerie Institution.
There were factions in the past that were displeased with Faerie Institution. However, regardless of how they felt, none dared to express their unhappiness.
The demise of the Moon-Worshiping Wolves had opened the opportunity for Faerie Institution to rise up.
Fan Lou’s bloodline was not worth nurturing. At first, Winter wanted to nurture Fan Lou and awaken the Moon-Worshiping Wolf bloodline. However, this would cost far too many resources. Fan Lou was not worth all those resources.
Lin Yuan nurtured his subordinates so they could provide him with profits. If the cost exceeded the profits, it would be a foolish endeavor.
Kong Huan was an Alluring Fox and could call the shots among them. She was their mouthpiece. If she did not possess considerable status among the Alluring Foxes, she would not have been chosen as the member of the Honor Absent Parliament.
Fan Lou did not have much potential that was worth developing. Hence, there was no need to put as much emphasis on nurturing him as on Kong Huan.
As long as he was promised some benefits, he would follow Lin Yuan around like an obedient puppy.
Kong Huan had mentioned that Fan Lou had betrayed her for the sake of profits. She was the one who had nurtured and given him his start.
Spring and Winter could not feel any positive feelings toward someone like this who abandoned their previous leader.
If anyone tried to convince them to abandon Lin Yuan, Spring and Winter would never agree.
Fan Lou was nervous and anxious as he faced Lin Yuan. Lin Yuan said, “You should be familiar with Kong Huan. She is now my subordinate. Are you interested in becoming my subordinate as well?
“If you become my subordinate, I can promise that you’ll be able to take over Kong Huan’s position as a member of the Honor Absent Parliament. What do you think?”
Fan Lou was over the moon. Becoming a member of the Honor Absent Parliament was a pipe dream for Fan Lou. He never dared to have such aspirations in the past.
Once he became a member, he would be able to use his bloodline to develop his species.
Fan Lou was aware that his bloodline was extremely weak. But once he became a member of the Honor Absent Parliament, he would be able to join his bloodline to that of a powerful female lifeform to improve the bloodline of his offspring. Through this, his descendants’ bloodlines would become better and continue to pass on the improved bloodline.
Fan Lou never dared to dream of such a luxury. But now, Lin Yuan’s promise stirred up his ambitions considerably. Fan Lou knew that if he wanted to obtain benefits, he would have to buckle down and work hard for Lin Yuan.
Hence, Fan Lou said sincerely, “My Lord, if there’s anything you need, just let me know. I will definitely do all I can to meet your requests. I won’t disappoint you!”
Lin Yuan nodded with satisfaction when he heard what Fan Lou said. Fan Lou was the guide to the main world. It would be difficult for him to explain what had happened now that Kong Huan had killed so many people.
If Feng Qing wanted to escape persecution and continue to be valued by Feng Qing when he returned to the Sky Beyond the Clouds, he would have to bring back useful resources with him. Otherwise, once he returned, he would have no choice but to wait to be eliminated.
Fan Lou felt that he needed to tell Lin Yuan about all this. The resources that he would have to show Feng Qing once he returned to the Sky Beyond the Clouds would also have to come from Lin Yuan.
After listening, Lin Yuan waved his hands and said, “I will prepare the resources you will need when you return to the Sky Beyond the Clouds. As for what you will say when you return, that’s up to you! With your intelligence, I shouldn’t have to teach you. The two Alluring Foxes will back you up. I am sure that given your relationship with the Alluring Foxes, no one will be suspicious of you if they support your claim.”
Lin Yuan did not give Fan Lou any promises and managed to use his fountain of faith to take control of him.
Not only was Fan Lou not upset over losing his freedom, but he was even happier than he was before. In his eyes, he had found an even stronger source of support.
It was true that Lin Yuan had also promised Fan Lou benefits. Apart from giving him the chance to become a member of the Honor Absent Parliament, Lin Yuan also promised to give him more resources whenever he made a contribution or performed well in his tasks.
Lin Yuan did not give Fan Lou any benefits now, but his promises were extremely attractive. When Fan Lou received these resources, he could do many things that he was unable to do in the past.
Lin Yuan did not spend too long talking to Fan Lou. The two of them had already told Lin Yuan about the Sky Beyond the Clouds.
Rather than speaking to Fan Lou, Lin Yuan could learn more information by speaking to Kong Huan.
The leader of a Boundary Patrol Team did not hold much sway in the Sky Beyond the Clouds.
Fan Lou’s true function was to use his identity as the captain of a Boundary Patrol Team to hide the evolution of feys in the main world.
... Epoch God Palace on Four Seasons Mountain was maintained by Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter’s strength and was long ready to be evolved into a faerie.
Lin Yuan did intend to evolve Four Seasons Mountain into a faerie. Based on its roots, Four Seasons Mountain’s roots could not be compared to that of Begin Lady back when it was the Gaea Begin River.
Lin Yuan had reason to suspect that once Four Seasons Mountain evolved into a faerie, it would immediately be born as a higher faerie.
Lin Yuan had been communicating with Begin Lady and had an understanding of the faerie bloodline. In his subsequent conversations with Spring, he now knew the implication of a faerie that was born with a high-class bloodline.
Almost all the elites of Faerie Institution were born as higher faeries.
Lin Yuan would need Fan Lou to cover up the evolution of his feys, the evolution of Sky City’s members’ feys, and the commotion caused by the Four Seasons Mountain’s evolution into a faerie.
... Time flew by, and Lin Yuan finished going through all four palaces of Epoch God Palace.
As Morbius continuously absorbed the energy in Epoch God Palace, its roots became increasingly stronger.
Lin Yuan had been maintaining contact with Liu Jie, Wen Yu, the Moon Empress, and the rest. Otherwise, all of them would be worried about him disappearing for four to five months.
Lin Yuan did not have anything else to do and began drawing up his plans for Sky Beyond the Clouds.
His body composition could help spirit qi professionals raise their ranks, and he would be able to increase the power of his subordinates and companions very quickly. He could evolve feys by just throwing resources at them.
All the white-clothed followers’ feys were Bronze/Legend when they contracted them. With such a good foundation, their potential was boundless.
While Lin Yuan was in Epoch God Palace for the past four to five months, many humans and sea clan experts had gathered in the Startling Lines Continent.
Based on their backgrounds, they were housed in six newly built cities.
The six cities were now filled with spirit qi professionals who were waiting for Lin Yuan to help their feys evolve.
To Lin Yuan, these six cities were treasure troves of resources. Under Mang Shui’s management, the manor in the north district had devolved into chaos.
The six cities were managed by the white-clothed followers and operated smoothly.
It went without saying that issues did arise. However, if the provokers did not learn their lesson after being warned by the white-clothed followers, they would be punished by having their faction’s ration of resources reduced.
After catching a few perpetrators and making an example out of them, even the biggest of troublemakers forced themselves to get along amicably with the others.
Almost all of the resources in the main world were supplied by the Radiance Federation.
If any faction stopped obtaining resources from the Radiance Federation, they would soon be left in the dust and never be able to recover.
... Just as Lin Yuan felt that it was about time for Morbius to be done absorbing the last of the energy from the wall in Autumn’s palace, he felt his wrist grow hot.
Morbius lit up with a reddish-bronze light, and Morbius’ voice appeared in his head.
