2629 The Radiance Federation and Vast Sea Labyrinth Link Up!
Since he was young, Lin Yuan always provided Chu Ci with the most comfortable and safe environments. With him around, Chu Ci never felt that she was missing out on familial love despite the death of their parents. Rather, with Lin Yuan’s affection, Chu Ci already felt she was being enveloped by sunshine and love.
Wen Yu decided that she would return 35 days later. Meanwhile, Lin Yuan returned to the Radiance Federation through the Space Tunnel.
He planned on fetching Wen Yu 35 days later. Lin Yuan felt he should refrain from using the Space Tunnel to travel as much as possible from the Radiance Federation to the Grotto Continent. Even someone as rich as him felt strained by the resources required for each trip.
It went without saying that Lin Yuan also asked Wen Yu to tell the human clusters on the other side of the Barren Sea about the impending disaster.
Because the Barren Sea separated them, the continents on the other side of the Barren Sea seemed to be disconnected, but their ley lines still linked them.
The disaster that was about to occur due to the Sleeper’s Revival would also affect the other side of the Barren Sea.
Lin Yuan would not be so callous as to send the federations on the other side of the Barren Sea to their deaths.
If these federations were willing to believe Lin Yuan, he would be willing to relocate them.
There was no way that Lin Yuan could facilitate such a large-scale migration.
Although the Spirit Lock spatial zone had become several times larger than its original size and the people from the other side of the Barren Sea could be transported through Klein Hub to the marsh world, Lin Yuan had many plans for the base in the main world and did not have time.
However, due to the Heavenly Family Cottage and the Radiance Federation’s awareness of Tower Canon’s Sleeper’s Revival plan, the Radiance Federation finally linked up with the Vast Sea Labyrinth.
Lin Yuan had presided over this matter through the Moon Empress. The Radiance Federation was now working with the Vast Sea Labyrinth.
The Vast Sea Labyrinth was the secret ruler of the sea and controlled the most Island Whales of any organization in the main world.
The Island Whales could cross the Barren Sea, so the Vast Sea Labyrinth could be asked to relocate the federations that wanted to be relocated.
After Wen Yu communicated with Lin Yuan through the Thoughts Letter Paper and learned of his plans, she felt that he was too kind!
She felt there was no need for Lin Yuan to be concerned for the federations on the other side of the Barren Sea as their survival was irrelevant to Sky City’s profits!
Suddenly, Wen Yu remembered something that Mystic Moon had said. “With your intelligence, you would eventually be able to prove your capabilities to the Radiant Moon Palace. This is unquestionable. Although you were unable to complete the Moon Envoy test due to your injured roots and were sent to work beneath the four Moon Servants, you would eventually be able to distinguish yourself!
“I am unsure if I could take you in as my disciple after discovering your talents. But I definitely wouldn’t recommend that you become a Radiance Knight. Someone as calm as you is too rational and aloof to be able to think for the Radiance Federation’s sake.”
After Mystic Moon became Wen Yu’s master, they were always fully candid with each other.
Mystic Moon’s words did not trigger any negative emotions in Wen Yu, and she even agreed with him. She also felt faintly sweet.
This was because everything she had came from Lin Yuan. Without him, she would never have caught Mystic Moon’s notice.
She had only been able to grow to this point because she had experienced multiple transformations and awakenings.
Without Lin Yuan’s help and saving, she would have slowly sunk into dark despair and depression.
There was no way she would be enveloped in warm sunlight like she currently was!
If Liu Jie and Lin Yuan had not given her pressure or opportunities, she would never have been able to develop her talent in governance.
Lin Yuan’s spirit always attracted Wen Yu. It was exactly what she lacked.
Wen Yu always followed Lin Yuan’s instructions to the letter. The federations on the other side of the Barren Sea were on relatively good terms with each other. This was because they were situated rather far from each other and had almost no contact.
With the scarcity of resources, the federations that had contact with each other had already battled each other to near destruction. One would either conquer the other or relocate further from the other.
Although the federations were in a relatively peaceful state with each other, their internal affairs were tumultuous.
The scarcity of resources was so serious that food supply had become a big challenge.
Furthermore, Creation Masters could nurture production-type feys and were very powerful. This allowed them to become the centers of their respective federations.
This living condition was very similar to that of the Grotto Continent and Broiling Rock Continent.
These continents were on the other side of the Barren Sea and happened to be miniature versions of the other side of the Barren Sea.
The factions on the other side of the Barren Sea were all riled up by the news brought by Wen Yu.
Firstly, Wen Yu was sufficiently powerful, yet they did not try to take over the federations by force. Thus, almost all of the federations believed what she said.
However, the federations all had different opinions about whether they would relocate to the other side of the Barren Sea.
Wen Yu left a Turning Wheel Realm Dictator in every federation. They would not only act as guides when the citizens of the federations did decide to leave but would also give them the freedom to make their own choices rather than being strong-armed into following the decisions of the Creation Masters.
Those who were made aware of the situation but still refused to leave could be left there to battle the dead spirits when the Sleeper’s Revival plan began.
Wen Yu gave out these tasks but did not forget that the most important matter at hand was searching for the Continent Vein Cores.
After discovering the Broiling Rock Continent, she did not waste any time and sent two Turning Wheel Realm Dictators off with resources to help Peace.
... The millions of Land Imps in the Radiance Federation worked tirelessly, and the laying down of the metal-type stone boards was completed with no issues.
This was partly due to Bai Qinghuan’s supervision but also because the Land Imps were under the control of the subterranean world’s treasure, the Earth Source Cube.
Otherwise, lifeforms as sly as the Land Imps would never do their best in a job unless their lives were on the line.
Lin Yuan finally relaxed after the metal-type stone boards were laid down.
It could be said that now that the metal-type stone boards were laid down, the foundation for the defense against the Sleeper’s Revival plan was complete.
If the Sleeper’s Revival began before the metal-type stone boards were laid down, Lin Yuan would never be able to protect the Radiance Federation, regardless of his capability.
With the foundation of the defenses now complete, the Land Imps could send any powerful dead spirits that broke through the metal-type stone boards into the Dead Spirits Well that the Land Imps would soon construct. The spiritual ingredients meant for the Dead Spirits Well had been prepared before the metal-type stone boards had been fully laid down.
Now, they would begin laying down the metal-type stone boards outwards. Lin Yuan had been analyzing a way to join the five dimensional worlds with the main world.
However, Lin Yuan was unsure if he would be making the right decision by evolving this Class 1 world into Class 2.
Morbius had yet to recover relevant memories, and Lin Yuan was afraid he would cause problems by hastily combining the dimensional worlds with the main world.
But it seemed this would be his best chance of protecting the main world, so he needed to make a decision.
... The representative groups from the various federations had gathered in the Radiance Federation.
All of them had arrived at the Radiance Federation feeling very troubled.
The location for the first meeting of the Major Federation Union was the Radiance Federation. This caused all the federations to begin guessing how the Freedom Federation had been convinced to give way.
The news from the Radiance Federation came so abruptly that the various federations had not had the time to come up with many guesses.
While on the way here, the federations’ representative groups and the federations they came from were all gathering information in a frenzy. But all they found out was that the Freedom Federation’s royalty had made a trip to the Radiance Federation.
This included the Mirror God and God of Fools. Could the Freedom Federation’s royalty have struck a deal with the Radiance Federation?
The heads of the various federations had a feeling that the sudden meeting of the Major Federation Union was related to that.
However, the Radiance, Freedom, and Azure Federations were all extremely tight-lipped about this matter and refused to let out even a peep.
The Radiance Federation was the head of the Major Federation Union, and the Freedom Federation and Radiance Federation had already discussed the Major Federation Union in advance. But, none of the other federations knew that the two federations had left the Azure Federation out of the loop.
The Azure Federation’s 12 aristocratic families had asked the Radiance Federation for information multiple times, but the Moon Empress had not told them anything in advance.
There was no airtight wall in the world. Even if there was, it was likely that Tower Canon had already placed moles within the various federations.
If the Moon Empress let out information in advance, Tower Canon would find out that their plan had been exposed and that the main world was coming up with a way to stop them. It would also lead to mass hysteria.
If the information was released during the Major Federation Union, the federations could react immediately and devise strategies to deal with the issue.
By sending all of their members of royalty to the Radiance Federation, the Freedom Federation had expressed sufficient sincerity.
The Mirror God and God of Fools had not tried to hide their presence at all while traveling on their fey carriage. This shocked all of the representatives of the various federations.
No matter how crucial this meeting was for the Freedom Federation, they could’ve simply sent one royal member, or at most, the Mirror God or the God of Fools. So, why did both of them come?
Were the Radiance Federation and Freedom Federation going to fight during the Major Federation Union meeting?
... The Moon Empress had been hanging on using rejuvenating spiritual ingredients. She had not rested in two weeks. Even birth-horoscope experts would get headaches if they remained tightly wound for a prolonged period.
The Moon Empress reached out and pressed her temples while listening to Cold Moon’s report.
Ever since Cold Moon left to train Chu Ci, Mystic Moon took up the responsibilities of both Moon Envoys. But now that Cold Moon was back, she resumed her duties.
Mystic Moon had always handled the internal affairs, while Cold Moon was more skilled at handling external affairs.
“Moon Empress, the Radiance Sacred Hall, which was chosen as the location for the Major Federation Union meeting, has been set up. I oversaw the entire process, and there were no issues!
“Of the federations we sent invitations to, only a few of them did not return with a response. A few of those who responded and are located relatively further away still haven’t arrived. But the rest have all been settled into envoy lodgings in the Royal Capital.”
The Moon Empress nodded before asking, “Did those federations located relatively further away say when they will be able to arrive?”
Cold Moon hurriedly replied, “The latest of them will be able to arrive by 5:00 a.m. today! I suggest that we hold the Major Federation Union meeting tomorrow afternoon.”
Cold Moon understood the situation and knew how urgent it was. Otherwise, given the protocol for guests that the Radiance Federation usually had, they would have given these envoy groups a day to rest.
However, given the circumstances, not even the Moon Empress had time to rest. She had not slept in two weeks.
The Moon Empress was already extending the greatest sincerity and honor to these federation envoy groups by waiting for all of them to arrive before starting the Major Federation Union meeting.
“Cold Moon, tell all this to Cicada Song. Tell him to inform the envoy groups to gather in the Radiance Sacred Hall tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m.!”
The Moon Empress had been a bundle of worries. But luckily, she received a message from Lin Yuan saying the foundational defenses for the Radiance Federation had been completed.
Lin Yuan had invested heavily by using millions of Land Imps and secret spiritual ingredients from the subterranean world! Through this, he created a miracle that the Moon Empress would never have dared to dream of in the past.
In order to understand Tower Canon’s exact timeline of actions, the Moon Empress had sent the Mirror God and God of Fools to contact Tower Canon.
The Mirror God and God of Fools had failed to contact any of the real pages of Tower Canon, like First Page Crimson, but they were able to get in contact with Sixth Page Inverse Growth, who had worked with the Freedom Federation in the past.
The Moon Empress had asked the God of Fools and Mirror God to contact Sixth Page Inverse Growth because she had no other choice, but she ended up receiving unexpected benefits!
Sixth Page Inverse Growth had invited the Mirror God and God of Fools to head to Tower Canon’s headquarters two months later to listen in on a strategy meeting. They would also be invited to join Tower Canon then.
This meant Tower Canon would not make any moves within the next two months.
More than a month had passed since the Mirror God and God of Fools had contacted Sixth Page Inverse Growth.
The Moon Empress did not believe that Tower Canon would truly make the Mirror God and God of Fools part of the Eight Pages. If Tower Canon had this intention, they would already have gotten in contact with the Mirror God and God of Fools instead of waiting until now!
It was likely that Tower Canon was trying to eliminate the threats that the Mirror God and God of Fools, who were spirit-fire experts, posed.
Relocating the various federations within a month was a very tight timeline. But if it was handled immediately, a large-scale operation involving Platinum avian-type feys stood a high chance of success!
As long as these federations brought their citizens to the edge of their beaches, they would not have to shoulder the stress of migrations on their own.
Otherwise, even if they were given an entire year, there was no way that the federations could relocate all of their citizens!
Once they moved to the edge of their beaches, the Vast Sea Labyrinth would take over. They would use their Island Whales to transport the citizens to the Radiance Federation’s harbor.
The Moon Empress told Lin Yuan this decision so he would have time to prepare.
After the federations had been relocated to the Radiance Federation, Lin Yuan could decide whether to combine the five dimensional worlds with the main world.
