SHATTER! A spine-trembling sound thundered across the starry voidscape of the Neo-Dawn Stellar Region. It was anything but inconspicuous or covert. The loud noise alerted every Ascended being within regardless of their cultivation base.
They turned their gazes to the skies, or directed it to the earthen layer beneath them, perhaps gazing at the reinforced walls of their palaces or hewn caverns layered with formations. With spiritual spells empowered spiritual sense, countless gazes landed on the Born True Starfield from every direction.
Within the Twin Beacon Territory, formerly known as the Twin Beacon Stellar Region, one of the eighteen stellar regions of the Sealed Regions, the experts from the Endless Voyage Realm similarly directed their gazes across the vast space and landed promptly on the Born True Starfield.
Su Nianzu's pupils became an intense and chaotic violet-colored storm of spiritual lightning. Jia Yang's eyes didn't change in any profound transformation, but his pupils constricted slightly. Zhen Yang's eyes glinted with a sharp, cold spiritual light that felt as if it sliced through the folds of space and time.
All three Worldly Saints were together in avid discussion, something they've been doing since they settled in here. They obediently stayed and no one bothered them. Meanwhile, there were countless flat continental earths and varied abodes acting as temporary residences for the Endless Voyage Realm cultivators.
"Clone Arts?" Zhen Yang speculated for a bit before his eyes widened uncontrollably. The other two Worldly Saints followed suit with their expressions dramatically changing, shrouded by shock and disbelief.
They watched as the five Incarnations blasted through the defensive formations established by the Unchained Heart Sect directly and brutally. Then, without the slightest hesitation, proceeded to split apart and unleash wanton slaughter with ferocious attacks. The Unchained Heart Sect responded slowly, but they did respond. Over a dozen Earthly Saints bolted out of their hiding places, seemingly already prepared for an assault, and met the five Incarnations in fierce combat.
The fight wasn't even by any stretch of the imagination. Instead, the five Incarnations acted with pure mystic power and severely wounded every challenger in two or less moves. They then enveloped those defeated in an oval barrier of dark grey, restraining both spatial and temporal powers, and carried them along as they continued their assault.
Within half a minute of mortal time, all the defending Earthly Saints were captured by those oval barriers that resembled chicken eggs and tied along by condensed strands of mystic aura to an Incarnation. The Unchained Heart Sect even brought forth their signature vessels, Shadow Eggs, and proceeded to send out rampant attacks of dark mystic energy. Unfortunately, the five Incarnations were disgustingly strong!
"Who is this person?" Su Nianzu was shaken. The five Incarnations only had outward cultivation bases of Earthly Saints, yet their utilization of mystic power and mystic aura was enough to bring about a sense of inferiority in his soul. Moreover, there was no Mystic Heart Intent used, yet the strength displayed easily rivaled Worldly Saints.
Zhen Yang was aghast. Jia Yang was unable to believe any of it.
"Could it be World-Saint Neo-Dawn's Alchemic Knight?" They had some idea of the general information of the recent years and various power structures in the Ancient Sealed Region. They knew that the Unchained Heart Sect had offended Wei Wuyin years prior and this was attributed to a heavenly beauty named Yue Songli. Wei Wuyin and his Fire Phoenix dominated the organization and forced them into seclusion without daring to do anything else.
Now, Yue Songli was just mentioned in a global announcement a day or so ago, and the Unchained Heart Sect and their Born True Starfield were facing a violent assault. Moreover, Wei Wuyin wasn't doing anything to stop it!
"...It doesn't seem like World-Saint Neo-Dawn's way of doing things. Moreover, this is a little sloppy, no?" Su Nianzu had gathered all sorts of information regarding Wei Wuyin's feats, achievements, and actions over the last few decades, and this didn't align with the directness that he'd displayed before. Additionally, the wanton destruction and slaughter seemed unfocused as if the five Incarnations were looking for someone or trying to damage something!
"Even if it's not him, he's tacitly allowing this." Jia Yang asserted as he soaked in the unfolding battle entirely. A baleful will seethed within his heart.
"..." Zhen Yang and Su Nianzu.
The battle took a sudden turn. The five Incarnations were besieged by thousands of Ascended beings. They seemed reckless as they attacked wildly. They seemed ready to throw away their lives and didn't flinch or scream upon being blasted to death. The sight shook all who saw.
The conviction to die for your organization was enough to shake the soul, and these few beings had it in spades. They readied and threw fists and blasts of power. One of the five Incarnations was swarmed as thousands soon became tens of thousands and they joined together to hold him down.
"Something's wrong," Su Nianzu frowned with suspicion in his heart.
"Yeah..." Jia Yang felt it too, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. The hectic fluctuations of mystic power and mystic aura as well as the activations of the Born True Starfield's multi-starfield-wide array linked together as one was distorting the senses slightly.
However, Zhen Yang cultivated Sword Heart Intent, and his Spiritual Sense was extremely sharp and Piercing. He saw the most. "There are repeats!"
Immediately, Zhen Yang pointed out a middle-aged Demi-Mortal Lord Phase cultivator was crushed by a fist thrown by one of the five Incarnations. The raw mystic power turned him into a bloody paste. But that middle-aged Highlord's aura was familiar! He felt it in the first few seconds of combat. That person was a part of the initial resistance!
"Repeats?" Only after Zhen Yang pointed it out did the two Worldly Saints discover the irregularity. "Necros Energy?! What?!" They both exclaimed as their eyes glowed greedily.
Jia Yang flew! He was already tens of thousands of miles away from his original location when Su Nianzu appeared before him in a flickering burst of violet lightning. A stern look was reflected in his eyes behind the helmet.
Jia Yang paused with a frustrated expression. Zhen Yang clenched his fists. He would have also shot forward, but he had Peng Yue to take care of and was severely injured.
"If we leave, we risk offending World-Saint Neo-Dawn. Is Necros Energy worth it?" Su Nianzu questioned with a solemn tone.
"..." Jia Yang didn't need to consider that for any period beyond a millisecond to find his answer: No! Absolutely not! The value of a Worldly Alchemic Saint's slight favor far surpassed this. But that was if, a strong 'if', they could obtain the favor of a Worldly Alchemic Saint. This didn't mean he didn't hate not being able to fight for opportunities. In the Azure-Prime Galactic Region, perhaps even Heavenly Saints would fight for this!
Su Nianzu heaved a deep sigh. He turned to see the unfolding battle and couldn't help but feel frustrated as well. However, this didn't last long. The favor of Wei Wuyin was enough to abandon all else.
Zhen Yang chimed in at this moment, "If we obtain the source of Necros Energy, we can offer it to World-Saint Neo-Dawn. After all, the Mystic-World product, the Necromantic Restoration Pill, needs mystic-level Necros Energy. If we retrieve it and offer it as alchemical material completely intact, we could trade at least, or establish great relations at best."
Su Nianzu and Jia Yang's eyes both simultaneously brightened with the intensity of solar stars. The reasoning wasn't too wrong! But...what if the Necros Energy was already claimed by Wei Wuyin? What if those five Incarnations were here by his orders?
Without warning, a majestic voice descended into their meeting hall. "Act as you wish. The Unchained Heart Sect is not an allied force of my empire. Spare any excess damage, do not harm the ordinary citizens of the starfield, and only act against those from the Unchained Heart Sect or those attacking it."
The voice was cold and direct. All three Worldly Saints' hearts boomed with disbelief and ravaged by excitement. The greed in their hearts exploded and they looked at each other. Without any hesitation, Su Nianzu and Jia Yang flew directly at the Born True Starfield.
Zhen Yang clenched his teeth. Then, as if making a decision, he formed a few hand-seals. An Avatar with his exact likeness formed. He had spent four thousand years cultivating this Avatar, and it was only at the Earthly Saint Phase, but it could use the majority of his cultivation such as intent.
It didn't hesitate to fly toward the Born True Starfield. Its goal was simply to assist and ensure the citizens remained harmed by the upcoming fight.
While Jia Yang and Su Nianzu neared in a flash, they felt the fluctuations of Mystic World Intent. They glanced at each other as this new aura belonged to a newly ascended Worldly Saint. From the unconsolidated aura, they could tell this cultivator cultivated Shadow-Attributed Methods. However, they didn't stop and instead accelerated. They had to get there before the source of Necros Energy was taken!

Wei Wuyin and Mei Mei's bodies were entangled in all sorts of positions. As they shifted and moved, Mei Mei found herself on top, her face flushed a pleasant pink, and sweat dripped from her forehead. She used her hand to press Wei Wuyin's shoulders down to the bed as she lifted her lower body carefully. It didn't take long before she slammed it down and shook the bed. Eventually, her lower body rose and fell rhythmically, coinciding with soft, stimulating moans that originated from her body, throat, and soul.
-----
The Born True Starfield was immediately embroiled in a sudden battle. A thin layer of solidified solar radiance enveloped it from millions of miles out in every direction, ensuring that nothing, not even the violent fluctuations of death and destruction reached anywhere else.
Things could only enter and nothing could escape.
Eventually, two figures exited the thin barrier. They looked exactly alike but their clothes suffered damage of varying degrees. Within one of their hands was a ball of twisting, dark, eerie material that seemed like blackened flesh. It squirmed like it was alive and exuded a strong aura of death and decay. At the center of the blackened flesh was a faint light of milky white life aura tethered by a strange soul fluctuation.
The elderly man's two Incarnations had flat expressions as their eyes were incomparably dark. After giving the material a look, the two smiled and shot back toward the Ninestar Starfield. They moved 'slowly', not executing any Spatial Shift or Temporal Acceleration as if afraid of harming the ball of blackened flesh.
After roughly two hours, three figures exited the thin layer of solar radiance. One of them was armored and wielded a violet lance, the other held a mace with a slowly deflating body and keen baleful presence, and the last was bloodied and shackled by metallic shackles etched with various esoteric mystic runes. They looked weak and struggled minutely to escape but to no avail.
Su Nianzu frowned. "A Nest of Necros. What a sinister cultivation method," he commented lightly. They had to fight literal hordes of Ascended beings.
Jia Yang shrugged as he stared at the Ninestar Starfield's direction. "How did they cultivate a Nest of Necros? This one isn't a cultivator of Necros Energy or Necros Power, and I haven't sensed a single environment that could nurture Necros Essence in the entire region either."
"We'll find out after interrogating her, won't we?" Su Nianzu yanked at the chains leading to the shackled woman. Her eyes were briefly exposed, showcasing a pair of star-shaped pupils. She was a Celestial! Unfortunately, her slender figure was covered in shredded cloth and black blood so it was difficult to get a glimpse of her identity or looks.
Despite being suppressed, her breath still contained a harmony with the Mystic Dao. She was a Worldly Saint but without much control over her strength!
"We'll leave the cleanup to you, Zhen Yang." After saying this, the two Worldly Saints flew back toward the Twin Beacon Territory. Since the elderly man escaped, they couldn't nor did they dare to chase him. Wei Wuyin had only permitted them to act within the region of the thin barrier. If not, they would've made a move several times over.
If they fought intensely while traversing the Dark Void, the resulting damage to life would be catastrophic and incalculable.
The Celestial Race's woman growled, "I want to see the Ascendant Emperor! BRING ME TO THE ASCENDANT EMPEROR!!"
The two Worldly Saints glanced at each other. Then, they waited for a few seconds. After not receiving any orders, Jia Yang slapped the woman with a fierce backhand. The sound and force were enough to smack the taste and saliva out of her mouth. She was driven nearly unconscious and her spiritual strength was directly sealed. In the Dark Void, she could no longer communicate.
"Do you think you're World-Saint Neo-Dawn's woman or something? Shut the hell up." After that, Jia Yang felt much better. "Let's go back."
Su Nianzu nodded agreeingly. Unlike the elderly man, they decided to directly Spatial Shift to the Twin Beacon Territory. They were stunned to observe fixed space and realize that an artificial tunnel was formed that led in only a single direction. If they tried to go anywhere else, the tunnel would react violently and threaten to push them out. It seemed Wei Wuyin had already decided they could only go back to their territory.
-----
Within a simple residence in New Everlore, Wei Wuyin and Mei Mei were resting. The latter was breathing heavily. With a hoarse voice, "You've gotten...bi-better. You've gotten a lot better since last time." Mei Mei's compliment elicited a hearty chuckle from Wei Wuyin.
Mei Mei's eyes glistened with seemingly unquenchable desire. "You're ready for round three?"
Wei Wuyin replied cheekily, "Round three for me. What about you? Round twelve or thirteen?"
"Be quiet you," Mei Mei rolled her eyes as she mounted the great challenge once again. "Seventeen..." She whispered, leaning in softly to his ear. The gentle admission could only leave one stimulated and invigorated. Perhaps try to aim for a little higher?
