Chapter 3004 Choice for Evolution! .... Season Cycle, Begin Lady, Celestial Sight, Emerald Lady, and Gray Pool were all core members of Sky City and enjoyed the best resources in Sky City.
However, the five of them were responsible for production in Sky City and did not manage matters. As a result, none of them attended Sky City’s meeting.
However, Zhi Ling and Zhong Zhiyu would be Sky City’s managers in the future. Lin Yuan would let Zhong Zhiyu manage the other Creators who had been taken into Sky City. Zhong Zhiyu’s Creator ability was undoubtedly the highest among the current Creators in Sky City!
As soon as Lin Yuan entered Sky City’s territory, he used the Thoughts Letter Paper to invite Sky City’s core members for an internal meeting.
Even Bei Xu, who was holding down the presidency at the Lonely River, would attend this meeting.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss Sky City’s future development and current problems. Secondly, it was to allow Zhi Ling and Zhong Zhiyu to get to know the core members of Sky City as soon as possible so that they could devote themselves to their work.
After Lin Yuan was done with these matters, he would return to being a hands-off boss.
“Young Master, I’d like to meet these faeries first. Will they be willing to meet me?”
Zhong Zhiyu felt that instead of asking Lin Yuan about the faeries, he might as well meet them personally. After meeting these faeries, he would more or less know their backgrounds.
Lin Yuan pointed at the sky in the distance.
“Uncle Zhong, I’ve already informed the core members of Sky City. There will be an internal meeting of Sky City later. You and Ling Dai will both attend this meeting. After the meeting ends, you can meet whoever you want. No one will restrict your freedom!”
When Zhong Zhiyu heard Lin Yuan’s words, many strange emotions arose in his heart.
The fact that he could attend the meeting of Sky City’s core members as soon as he joined Sky City proved his importance. Zhong Zhiyu had already expected Lin Yuan to value him. However, when Lin Yuan truly expressed it, Zhong Zhiyu could not help but feel relieved.
Zhong Zhiyu had thought that since he had just joined Lin Yuan, it was very likely that Lin Yuan would restrict him. It might take a long time to get rid of his wariness.
Unexpectedly, Lin Yuan did not impose too many restrictions on him. Instead, he gave him so much freedom that he could even meet those few faeries at will!
Zhong Zhiyu coughed lightly and said with a smile, “It’s more important to meet the other core members of Sky City first. I’ll prepare a decent meeting gift for every member of Sky City.”
Lin Yuan laughed.
“I believe that Uncle Zhong will be able to build a good relationship with the other members of Sky City. The core members of Sky City are about the same age as me. Even if they’re older, they’re not much older. In front of Uncle Zhong, they’re all juniors. Please take care of them in the future!”
Lin Yuan knew that Zhong Zhiyu could easily see through other people’s lifespans.
Apart from the faeries, the Moon Empress was the oldest among the core members of Sky City.
The Moon Empress was actually not even 100 years old. Her lifespan was not even a fraction of Zhong Zhiyu’s.
The Moon Empress was extremely talented but the best way for ordinary Creators like her to improve their abilities was to obtain the guidance of a high grade Creator.
Zhong Zhiyu, a Grade 5 Creator who was completely under Lin Yuan’s control, would definitely not be the Moon Empress’ Master. Lin Yuan did not want to have another ancestor!
However, Zhong Zhiyu’s ability as a Creator could definitely help the Moon Empress!
Lin Yuan did not doubt Zhong Zhiyu’s financial resources at all when he said that he would prepare a meeting gift for Sky City’s members.
Zhong Zhiyu, a Grade 5 Creator who had just joined Sky City, was willing to take the initiative to express goodwill to the other core members. This could quickly close the relationship between them and help Sky City’s internal unity.
The core members of Sky City were close to each other and they had relationships with each other!
Hearing that Zhong Zhiyu wanted to prepare a gift for the core members of Sky City, Zhi Ling had a similar thought.
However, Zhi Ling quickly dismissed that thought. This was because Zhi Ling did not have many suitable gifts on hand. Furthermore, Zhi Ling felt that as the leader of this organization, she only needed to build a good relationship with Lin Yuan. She would get to know the others sooner or later!
Furthermore, she would be in charge of the management of the faith country in the future. She probably would not have to interact with the core members of Sky City’s other departments!
Even if she used the gift method, firstly, the level of her gift was inferior to Zhong Zhiyu’s.
Secondly, it was very likely that she would attract Zhong Zhiyu’s disgust if she imitated him directly.
Zhong Zhiyu was once again deeply surprised by Lin Yuan’s words.
Why were all the leaders of this faction young people? To a Holy Spirit expert, living for tens of thousands of years was considered young. However, Lin Yuan said that these people were around his age. These two-digit youngsters had actually formed such a large organization together!
Looking in the direction Lin Yuan was pointing at, Zhong Zhiyu could vaguely sense that the clouds in the distant sky were extremely thick.
It was strange that so many thick clouds gathered together and did not disperse.
Zhong Zhiyu had formed such a feeling after intentionally looking in that direction. If Zhong Zhiyu had not specially gone to investigate, the distant sky would not have attracted his attention.
Zhong Zhiyu pondered for a moment and released his aura. However, after releasing his aura, he realized that his aura had been isolated by a barrier before it could touch the clouds.
This barrier did not come from Genius and the Floating Island Whale, but from Spring in Sky City.
Lin Yuan did not ask for Spring, but Spring would usually guard Sky City.
Gray and the Floating Island Whale were both contracted creatures that Lin Yuan had raised since they were young.
When the two sensed Lin Yuan’s aura, the Floating Island Whale and Gray rushed over.
In an instant, Zhong Zhiyu realized that the seemingly harmonious clouds in the sky were actually moving rapidly in his direction. The clouds seemed to be wrapped around a huge creature!
Lin Yuan quickly stopped Genius and the Floating Island Whale. Lin Yuan was currently standing in the living area of the faith country. If Genius and the Floating Island Whale revealed themselves here, who knew how many people in the faith country would see them!
This might be helpful for the collection of faith power, but the information about Sky City could not be hidden!
Lin Yuan did not want to keep Zhong Zhiyu in suspense so he took out two tentacles of the Ethereal Jellyfish.
He handed one to Zhong Zhiyu and one to Zhi Ling.
“Uncle Zhong, Zhi Ling, the two of you can use this to transport yourselves directly to Sky City. Uncle Zhong, you’ll know Sky City’s location once you reach it! I’ll wait for you at the marked node and then we’ll attend the meeting of the core members of Sky City together!”
Lin Yuan was the first to teleport. Just as he appeared in Sky City, Zhong Zhiyu and Zhi Ling appeared in front of him.
Spring’s detection of auras had always been one-way. Targets from the outside world could not investigate the environment of Sky City.
However, entering Sky City meant that they were on the same side. There were no more restrictions on probing.
The moment Zhong Zhiyu probed the outside world, he knew that he was in a city in the clouds! The city was supported by a giant whale!
Zhong Zhiyu had been in the Sky Beyond the Clouds for so many years but this was the first time he had seen such a magical creature!
Such a mystical creature couldn’t be nurtured by a guy who was dozens of years old.
Zhong Zhiyu had a preconceived notion that Lin Yuan definitely had a huge faction behind him, and Lin Yuan’s status in this faction was abnormally noble!
It was rare for such a noble little fellow to not show any temper when communicating with him.
However, Zhong Zhiyu, who had seen how Lin Yuan dealt with the other factions in Coiling Dragon Mountain, knew that Lin Yuan was not hypocritical at all. He was extremely decisive in handling matters but he would not kill the innocent. Instead, it gave every faction a chance to survive.
However, whether they could seize the opportunity depended on how these factions made their choices.
The more Zhong Zhiyu learned about Lin Yuan and Sky City, the more his imagination ran wild.
After thinking about it, Zhong Zhiyu had completely treated himself as a weakling in front of Lin Yuan and his attitude toward Lin Yuan became even more respectful.
Even Zhong Zhiyu himself did not feel much about this. After being away for more than a month, Lin Yuan missed his companions who had worked with him for decades.
When they entered the meeting room, the Moon Empress, Wen Yu, Liu Jie, Su Yiren, and the other core members of Sky City were already seated.
As Lin Yuan had mentioned Zhi Ling and Zhong Zhiyu’s attendance in advance, there were two extra chairs. The two chairs were placed on the left and right sides of the end.
The two of them had just joined Sky City so it was undoubtedly the most suitable place for them to sit!
After Lin Yuan pointed out the locations for the two of them, he walked to the most comfortable chair and sat on it.
After Lin Yuan sat down, he tapped the table twice and looked at everyone in the conference room.
“These two are new partners who have just joined Sky City. The person sitting on the left is called Zhi Ling. She is the leader of the Wisdom Pupil Brainflys. From now on, she will lead the Wisdom Pupil Brainflys to participate in the management of the faith country.
“Wen Yu, Luo Lan, you two have to communicate more with Zhi Ling in the future! Zhi Ling, the two of them are currently in charge of managing the faith country. If you have any problems in the future, you can look for them directly!”
Lin Yuan had already explained Zhi Ling’s situation to Su Yiren and Luo Lan on the Thoughts Letter Paper. Su Yiren and Luo Lan were already feeling powerless to manage the faith country.
No matter how powerful Su Yiren and Luo Lan were, they could not split up.
There was a limit to a person’s energy in a day. Zhi Ling was a special species that Lin Yuan had discovered in the blessed land.
Zhi Ling’s situation was similar to Keira’s. With Zhi Ling leading the Wisdom Pupil Brainflys into the faith country, Su Yiren and Luo Lan would definitely be able to relax in the future. The faith country could be further expanded!
This made Su Yiren and Luo Lan have a very good impression of Zhi Ling.
Zhi Ling belonged to Lin Yuan and the two of them were destined not to have any competitive relationship with her.
Su Yiren and Luo Lan decided to help Zhi Ling more when she first started managing the faith country.
After introducing Zhi Ling, Lin Yuan also solemnly introduced Zhong Zhiyu.
The other members of Sky City greeted Zhong Zhiyu. Ever since Lin Yuan entered the meeting room, the Moon Empress’ gaze had been on him.
Lin Yuan could sense that the Moon Empress was seriously interested after hearing that Zhong Zhiyu was a Grade 5 Creator.
Lin Yuan smiled and winked at the Moon Empress. Lin Yuan knew very well how much the Moon Empress wanted to explore knowledge. He would hint to Zhong Zhiyu to guide his master more often.
Now that Zhong Zhiyu had joined Sky City, he would definitely not be stingy with the Moon Empress’ thirst for knowledge.
When the Moon Empress was in the main world, she had lamented Lin Yuan’s growth speed more than once.
Now that he was in the Sky Beyond the Clouds, Lin Yuan’s growth was even faster than when he had been in the main world! After being away for more than a month, not only did he discover that he had subdued an intelligent race with higher intelligence, but he had also allowed a Grade 5 Creator to join Sky City.
The Moon Empress felt even more proud of Lin Yuan! After Lin Yuan introduced the new members, the meeting officially began.
It was Zhong Zhiyu and Zhi Ling’s first time attending Sky City’s meeting, especially since Zhong Zhiyu did not know much about Sky City. Therefore, the two of them focused on listening.
The content of the meeting was still centered on faith country. In short, there had not been any major problems in the past month.
Su Yiren and Luo Lan had solved all the minor problems. As the problem of food and clothing was solved, the operation of faith country became smoother and smoother.
Seeing that the discussion was almost over, Lin Yuan suggested, “Right now, the faith power produced by the faith country is all absorbed and integrated by the Realm Abyss Red Lotus.
“During this period, the faith power accumulated by the Realm Abyss Red Lotus is enough for two divine kingdom lifeforms to step into the Holy Spirit level. I wonder if you have any suggestions about the evolution goal?”
Bei Xu was the first to speak, “Young Master, the improvement of your strength is the most important thing for Sky City! Use this faith power to strengthen your feys. After your feys are strengthened, you can strengthen others!”
Lin Yuan immediately rejected Bei Xu’s suggestion.
“I’m not going to use the faith power I’ve collected during this period to strengthen my feys. It’s far better to use this faith power to increase one’s strength than to use it to improve those feys that have strategic-class significance to Sky City!”
In the past, Liu Jie rarely spoke at Sky City’s internal meetings because he was afraid that he would be too one-sided when he encountered problems.
As he continued to grow during this period, Liu Jie was no longer afraid of such a situation!
He was becoming more and more majestic as part of the iron triangle of Sky City.
“I feel that the feys that need to be upgraded the most are the Floating Island Whale in Sky City and the Elemental Paper that produces Thoughts Letter Paper. Even the Sky Clouded Crane, which is in charge of covering the Floating Island Whale, has lower priority!”
