Chapter 2938: Red Thorn’s Evolution! The Absolute Love Poppy’s ability Desire Absorption could allow any life form that could be controlled by the Absolute Love Poppy to become bait for the Absolute Love Poppy to increase its strength.
As long as the Absolute Love Poppy injected a special substance into the target’s body, the strength absorbed by the target could directly be added to the Absolute Love Poppy and Su Yiren.
Su Yiren had relied on this method to increase her strength so quickly!
Apart from Desire Absorption, the Absolute Love Poppy also obtained a new ability called Poppy Fruit Forest. This ability allowed Su Yiren to obtain more faith power.
It could be said that the 14 Poppy Fruits had completely become a tool for Su Yiren to harvest faith power!
With this ability, Su Yiren’s speed of improvement would not be any slower than Liu Jie’s.
Lin Yuan was very happy about the improvement of his companions. Even though Su Yiren was controlling the Absolute Love Poppy with all her might, she was still unable to prevent its aura from leaking out.
Luo Lan had been under the control of the Absolute Love Poppy for a long time so it had a considerable impact on her.
After Lin Yuan inspected the Absolute Love Poppy, Su Yiren quickly recalled it.
“Young Master, after my Absolute Love Poppy reaches 12 Stars, it will be quite difficult for it to continue improving. I’m no longer focused on improving my strength.
“Luo Lan and I have gained a lot from managing the faith country. Actually, those living beings scattered in the various villages don’t have much sense of belonging to the villages. After these villages were united, they could not attack each other because they were under our control, causing each village to be relatively peaceful. These neighboring villages began to fuse, and various lifeforms began to gather in groups.
“At first, Luo Lan and I felt that this kind of gathering was more in line with the standards of development. We planned a test area to deliberately facilitate this. But in the end, once the groups formed by these living beings reached a sufficient scale, they neglected our management.
“In the end, Luo Lan and I separated the residents of this experimental area and moved them to various places in the faith country to neutralize these groups. But this will inevitably cause conflicts between the different species!”
Su Yiren honestly explained to Lin Yuan the problems she had encountered when she was in charge of the faith country. Only Su Yiren could provide the best feedback to Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan did not immediately answer Su Yiren’s question. Instead, he lowered his head and seriously pondered over her question.
In the end, Lin Yuan said seriously, “I think Sky City’s current development direction is most compatible with Sky City. We don’t have to put too much thought into it. We’re already doing our best to provide the best living environment for the residents of the faith country.
“In the faith country, we can guarantee food, shelter, and medical treatment. There’s no need to redistribute these living beings in the faith country according to their species. Once redistributed, the faith country will be equivalent to a miniature Sky Beyond the Clouds. The various races in the Sky Beyond the Clouds are constantly fighting. How can there be peace?”
Lin Yuan’s words reminded Su Yiren of an issue she had when she managed the Dark Continent and Sand Island Continent in the main world.
Now that she was managing the faith country, there were more than ten thousand species in the faith country.
If stability could be maintained, it meant that this method was an extremely high-quality way to manage the faith country. There was no need for her to take the initiative to create problems before they arose.
“Young Master, I understand what you mean. The faith country is still expanding. As there aren’t enough Soldier Ration Radishes, Luo Lan and I decided to slow down the expansion of the faith country. Many demon insects were lost in the previous conflicts.
“I hope that Keira can produce divide more demon insects to increase the stability of the faith country. Recently, there have been some rumors in the faith country that the Crimson Heaven Falcons are preparing to attack the faith country.
“They think that the faith country is about to become the possession of the
Crimson Heaven Falcons. This is most likely because a spy from the Crimson Heaven Falcons has infiltrated the faith country. However, because there are many people in the faith country, it’s very difficult to identify the spy. I’m afraid these rumors will throw the current faith country into disarray.”
Su Yiren knew very well that the faith country had only been established for a short period. The residents of the faith country did not have much sense of belonging to the faith country. Any rumor could destabilize the current state.
Apart from the internal stability of the faith country, Su Yiren was also worried that the Crimson Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons would attack the faith country. Su Yiren would be helpless if such a thing happened.
Lin Yuan said to Su Yiren seriously, “You don’t have to worry about the situation with the Crimson Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons. Soon, both the Crimson Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons will become subordinates of Sky City and serve us. We will soon take over the territories of the Crimson Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons.
“At that time, the faith country can expand into the territories of the Crimson
Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons. I will solve the problem of the Soldier Ration Radish supply as soon as possible. In a short period, I will be able to completely solve the problem of food and clothing in the faith country. Just do your best to expand your faith country.”
Su Yiren’s heart skipped a beat. Su Yiren had always regarded the Spinning Wings White Falcons as a threat.
In the end, Lin Yuan was not only going to get rid of the Spinning Wings White Falcons but the Crimson Heaven Falcons as well.
Without the threat of the Crimson Heaven and Spinning Wings White Falcons, developing a faith country was a piece of cake for Su Yiren. Constructing the basic form of a faith country was the most difficult stage. Su Yiren had already solved the most difficult stage.
It was only now that Luo Lan completely broke free from the Absolute Love
Poppy’s influence. However, the Absolute Love Poppy still left some residual effects.
Luo Lan looked at Su Yiren with an ambiguous gaze and her face flushed red. When Su Yiren looked at her, she even lowered her head shyly.
Su Yiren hurriedly handed Luo Lan a potion that strengthened her spiritual energy and eliminated the mental influence. She urged Luo Lan to drink it. Su Yiren had specially requested these medicines from the Moon Empress. She was afraid that the Absolute Love Poppy would affect her own people.
Luo Lan did not interrupt the development of the faith country. She just let Su Yiren report to Lin Yuan.
Seeing that Su Yiren was almost done talking to Lin Yuan, Luo Lan said, “Young Master, didn’t you say that you wanted to choose some dependent species in the faith country to nurture? I paid special attention to these people in the faith country and realized that many of them have the chance to become spirit contractors.
“I think that if we want to nurture the managers of the faith country, we might as well choose and nurture some spirit contractors. Compared to ordinary people, spirit contractors are undoubtedly more suitable for this job. Spirit contractors are already seen as noble in the Sky Beyond the Clouds. This way, it will be easier to convince the public!”
Lin Yuan nodded. It was indeed better to nurture those with some talent as spirit contractors.
“Luo Lan, your suggestion is not bad. Since that’s the case, you can choose a spirit contractor from each village to nurture Use these spirit contractors to strengthen the control over the various villages.
“The faith country is a force formed by combining villages. If we can strengthen the control over these villages one by one, it will undoubtedly be a strong boost to the stability of the faith country as a whole.”
Lin Yuan, Su Yiren, and Luo Lan chatted for a while before Lin Yuan suddenly sensed Red Thorn calling out to him.
This meant that Red Thorn’s grade, quality, and bloodline had evolved.
Lin Yuan did not ask Red Thorn to come over. Instead, he prepared to go to the underground palace to meet Red Thorn personally.
Coincidentally, Lin Yuan was going to throw the mice kings into the sea of flowers that Red Thorn and Silver Corona had opened.
“Su Yiren, Luo Lan, I’ll inform Keira to produce more demon insects. Then, I’ll add more demon insects to guard each village.”
While talking to Su Yiren and Luo Lan, Lin Yuan sent Keira to the underground palace.
Lin Yuan used the Ethereal Jellyfish’s Node Teleportation skill and appeared in the underground palace after a few teleportations.
Before Lin Yuan could leave the underground palace, Red Thorn bumped into him.
Lin Yuan realized that Red Thorn’s fairy bloodline had also increased to 12 wings.
However, compared to Silver Corona, Red Thorn’s bloodline was clearly much stronger so Lin Yuan was not surprised. This was because Red Thorn’s bloodline was stronger than Silver Corona’s even before it evolved to 12 wings. Lin Yuan used True Data to investigate Red Thorn’s bloodline.
[Fey Name]: Red Thorn (Twelve-Winged Demon) (Thousand Eyes Relinquish)
[Fey Species]: Rafflesia genus/fairy species[Fey Grade]: Sovereign (3/10) [Fey Type]: Source/Wood [Fey Quality]: Creation VI Abilities:
[Mouth of Relinquish]: Secretes vigorous digestive fluids with powerful corrosive properties, allowing a faster speed to absorb the energy in the food. The Tongue of Relinquish inside the mouth is able to increase the digestion speed by several times. It can also secrete a special corrosive fluid from the flesh and blood that it consumes. When the Tongues of Relinquish pierce a target, the tip of the tongue can be cut off and left in the target’s body. While the target remains alive, the tip of the tongue will control the target’s spirit and soul. After the target dies, the tip of the tongue can control and manipulate the target to make it appear as though it is still alive.
[Brutal Carnivore Vine]: The vines contained digestive fluids that grew in midair and the sharp teeth on the inner side of the vine could grind off and collect flesh and blood energy.
[Eye of Relinquish]: Eyes formed by using blood and flesh energy. Each eye contains a huge amount of blood and flesh energy. When the number of Eyes of Relinquish on every Mouth of Relinquish is maintained below 60, they are merely able to store energy. When the number of Eyes of Relinquish is above 60, those Eyes of Relinquish that are above 60 can be turned into an energy ray at any time.
[Sea of Flowers State Transition]: By quickly using up the stored-up energy, the sea of flowers’ child ramets’ attacking power and mobility can be improved by several times. The child ramets’ weapons will also morph in a way that increases their functionality.
[Demon Spirit Curse Kill]: Whenever any of the ortet’s ramets touches an enemy target and breaks through a target’s defense, the target will be cursed. Every curse carries a negative effect that would be stacked with every additional attack.
[Tongue Pouch Births Demons]: When a corpse is being consumed, it can be stored in the tongue pouch and nurtured. If the corpse’s power is intact, it can be nurtured into a special lifeform that contains a fairy bloodline. Its previous power will be retained and its power can also be increased when tempered by blood energy.
[Demon Transformed Bound Fairy]: Its bloodline will be injected into the demon nurtured by Tongue Pouch Births Demons. The demon will transform into a fairy with a bloodline that is one level lower and is controlled by Red Thorn. The fairy will take on the same abilities and with sufficient vitality, can become an individual Mouth of Relinquish (The bound fairy’s bloodline and power will be increased as the main body evolves.
The nutrients absorbed by the bound spirit’s Mouth of Relinquish will be channeled to the main body.) [Death Soul Servant Demons]: During the process of devouring living beings, use the souls and death aura of living beings as well as their demonic bloodline to create servant demons. When the strength of the servant demons reaches the same level as their bodies, new servant demons will be born.
Apart from having combat strength, these servant demons can also increase the speed at which it can nurture demons through their tongue pouches and transform them into demons.
Exclusive Skill: [Spore Growth]: Spits a huge amount of spores, which can absorb the energy or flesh energy supplied by Red Thorn, out of its spore cavity to quickly grow ramets and child ramets that are controlled by the ortet.
[Wither Glory]: Red Thorn can rapidly absorb the energy from the soil and pour the energy into the sea of flowers. As long as the soil has the roots of the child ramets and ramets, the withered sea of flowers would reach its prime state.
[Spores Destruction Death Order]: Each time the entity grown from a spore is on the brink of death after being attacked by the enemy, the enemy’s energy that enters the spores will turn into pure death aura and death curse energy. The death aura will trigger the effects of the death curse energy and a time can be set to decide when the accumulated death curse energy will attempt to kill the target (the target’s survival is linked to the strength of the vitality in the target’s body).
[Sea of Flowers Sacrifice]: Sacrifice the sea of flowers produced by the main body and gather the energy of the sea of flowers into its body, allowing it to enter a special demonic state to maximize its strength. After entering this state, the deterrence and killing effect on other targets with demon bloodlines will greatly increase..
