Chapter 2905 I’ll Hold on for You! On the way, Shi Mei kept in contact with Lin Yuan. She was trying to get as much information as possible from Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan was exceptionally adept at dealing with such subtle inquiries. He subtly informed Shi Mei of the information he wanted to reveal to her. Since Shi Mei herself intended to gather information from Lin Yuan, his opportunistic behavior helped minimize others’ guard against him to the fullest extent possible.
Along the way, Lin Yuan continuously displayed his superiority, and the resources he casually took out broadened Shi Mei’s understanding.
No matter how much Yi Xue disliked Shi Mei currying favor with Lin Yuan, the Allen clan was still an ally of the Andra clan. If Shi Mei was offended by his actions, it wouldn’t be beneficial to the Andra clan. Yi Xue secretly told Shi Mei that Lin Yuan’s blood servants were extremely powerful.
Lin Yuan’s strength, bloodline, and resources made it impossible to question his identity, even if one desired to do so. After all, it was impossible for non-Bloodians to obtain Lin Yuan’s pure Bloodian bloodline.
“Your Grace Black, I have a favor to ask of you. When we absorb the blood tide later, can you ask your blood servants to attract more blood tide to our side? Don’t worry, we will only absorb the blood tide after ensuring that you have sufficient absorption!”
Shi Mei wasn’t the only one who wanted to befriend Lin Yuan. In fact, several Bloodian leaders also had the intention of forming connections with him. However, these Bloodian leaders lacked Shi Mei’s skill in ingratiating themselves. Thus, they never found an opportunity to communicate with Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan’s stance also made him difficult to approach. Shi Mei’s words carried implications of representing the other Bloodian clans. If Lin Yuan’s blood servants really helped to gather the blood tide, it would be only natural for Lin Yuan to absorb the blood tide first.
Still, Shi Mei should not use this as a favor. A few clan leaders wanted to remind Shi Mei not to make decisions for everyone.
However, when they thought about how Shi Mei’s suggestion was beneficial to Lin Yuan and realized that advising Shi Mei could potentially lead to misunderstandings from Lin Yuan, they gave up on the idea.
Shi Mei knew very well that her words would cause dissatisfaction among the other clans. However, Shi Mei believed that doing so to establish a connection with Lin Yuan was worthwhile, but Lin Yuan’s behavior disappointed her greatly. He did not respond to her attempts to please him in any way and only nodded lightly.
It left Shi Mei feeling extremely embarrassed. At the same time, she was certain that the Elise clan was not simple. This was the problem with the Bloodians. The higher their stance, the more formidable they appeared. If they were to adopt a humble stance, they might risk being looked down upon by other Bloodians.
Kani, who was following behind Lin Yuan, said, “Everyone, if our Young Master is in charge of everything, we are naturally willing to help! But if anyone interferes with our Young Master’s absorption of the blood tide, we won’t be polite either!”
The various Bloodian leaders did not take Kani and Jin Chen seriously. Any experts who had stepped into the Holy Spirit level could sense Kani and Jin Chen’s strength. The truly powerful people beside Lin Yuan were the woman and the old man who had been protecting him.
The various clan leaders, including Yi Xue, expressed their opinions.
“Don’t worry, we’re all very willing to be friends with the Elise clan. No one will interfere with Black Elise’s absorption of the blood tide! Whoever makes a move will be our enemy!”
As everyone spoke, an energy ripple suddenly erupted in the distance. Right on the heels of that, dense blood energy began to spread in all directions from the place where the commotion had occurred. This meant that the Elisa clan had already begun to activate the blood pool.
Once the blood pool was activated, its location could no longer be concealed. When the blood tide further expanded, it would be Liu Chen and Liu Yao’s turn to attack. The star pirates they had gathered were already ready to take action at any time.
Originally, the Elisa clan had ignored the Bloodians from the various clans. However, they had already changed their stance now and dispatched numerous members to verify the identities of the various Bloodians visitors. It was to ensure that no one would cause any trouble when the blood pool opened and affect the Lord’s evolution to the level of a queen.
Once they had noted visiting clans and who represented each clan, they could directly track down the corresponding clan to settle it through if problems were to arise.
The Elisa clan had made extensive preparations for a major event like the blood pool opening.
When Yi Xue discovered that the people from Elisa’s clan were investigating the identities of the members present, he had a bad feeling. Lin Yuan, a member of the Bloodians who had always lived outside Scarlet Territory, was an extremely unstable factor for the Elisa clan. If they could not be sure of Lin Yuan’s identity, they would most likely not allow him to stay here. If that was the case, it would be difficult.
Yi Xue definitely wanted to stay there to share the energy in the blood tide, but it was one thing if Lin Yuan was chased away by the Elisa clan and it led to conflicts.
If he wanted to advance and retreat with Lin Yuan, he would have to be prepared to exit alongside him. However, Yi Xue did not want to give up this rare opportunity to absorb the blood tide. The Elisa clan had always been domineering, and it was very likely that they would blame him for bringing an unknown Bloodian like Lin Yuan.
Yi Xue watched as the people investigated by the Elisa clan walked toward him. Just as Yi Xue was about to think of a way to deal with them, he felt several powerful auras coming from afar.
Yi Xue looked in the direction of the aura and saw a group of non-Bloodians. These people had a very fierce aura. It was obvious that they were not the Bloodians’ dependent species as they would not allow their spawns to bare their teeth like tigers. As a dependent species, being as docile and cute as a kitten was a must-have quality!
The aura on this group of people was very similar to the star pirates who plundered outside the Scarlet Territory. These star pirates were extremely ruthless. Basically, every Bloodian clan’s merchant groups had been plundered by these star pirates.
The Bloodians had once sent people to annihilate these star pirates, but every one of them was as slippery as a loach. Even if they could occasionally capture and destroy a few star pirates, it did not stop the star pirates from rampaging outside the Scarlet Territory. After all, there were huge benefits to be gained from plundering near the Scarlet Territory.
If these star pirates dared to cause trouble in the Elisa clan’s territory at this time, they would definitely anger them.
These star pirates most likely had a plan. This was because it was impossible for them not to know what it meant to target a Bloodian clan that was about to have a queen.
Upon seeing the star pirates, the Elisa members in charge of verification immediately gathered and began to resist them.
The woman with a red mole on her forehead said coldly. “Do you know the consequences of causing trouble on the territory of the Elisa clan? Today is an important day for us. If you make any moves, just wait to be slaughtered by our Elisa Clan!”
Upon hearing the female Bloodian’s threat, the star pirates groaned inwardly. If possible, these star pirates also didn’t want to attack the Elisa clan at this time. The Elisa clan had opened a blood pool, and the blood tide that surged out of the blood pool could not be stored. Not only were the blood tides useless to the star pirates, but even the blood pool opened by the Elisa clan held little significance for them.
There were almost no Bloodians among the star pirates present. It was obvious that a new king was about to appear in the Scarlet Territory.
The star pirates who had previously roamed the Scarlet Territory all understood one thing—the probability of a Bloodian queen appearing in the Elisa clan was extremely high.
These star pirates would rather hide from the Elisa clan. How could they dare to take the initiative to find trouble with them?! If not for the coercion of those two bigshots, the star pirates present would certainly have stayed as far away from the Elisa clan’s territory as possible.
However, under the coercion of the two bigshots, it was impossible for them to do nothing. If the two bigshots were dissatisfied, they would definitely die.
Moreover, the two bigshots had given them a chance. As long as they acted according to the arrangements of the two demon groups, it was not impossible for them to escape from the Scarlet Territory. As long as they were far away from the Scarlet Territory, the Elisa clan would not have the energy to cause trouble for them even if they wanted to!
After this matter was over, the Elisa clan would most likely have a huge pile of things to deal with. This was also the main reason the star pirates were working so hard.
The Elisa experts must be near the blood pool, protecting its safety to prevent any accidents from happening there. The more chaotic it was outside, the stronger the Elisa clan’s defense of the blood pool would be.
Right now, what these Elisa members wanted to do was not to kill the star pirates, but to expel them. The combined power of more than ten star pirates was not something the people from the Elisa clan present could deal with.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, your Elisa clan has opened the blood pool. If there’s an opportunity, we naturally have to claim our share of the loot! I heard that there are a large number of rare spiritual ingredients planted in the blood pool. If we snatch these spiritual ingredients, we will definitely make a fortune!”
Upon hearing those words, the Elisa member with a red mole on her forehead acted as if she had heard the greatest joke in the world. “Pfft! You think you can enter the blood pool? You’re really dreaming! What right do you have to take your share of the loot in my Elisa clan’s territory?! Even the leftovers thrown out by my Elisa clan are not something trash like you can dream of! Scram now, or I’ll join forces with the Bloodians from the other clans to wipe you out!”
This woman’s aura was astonishing, and her words were filled with a sense of superiority and disdain. As a member of an ancient Bloodian clan, this female Bloodian indeed had the right to be arrogant!
In fact, this female Bloodian had already realized that the situation was a little tricky. Since these star pirates dared to come to the Elisa clan’s territory to cause trouble at this time, they must have been prepared.
They were the only manpower the clan had assigned to this place. If these star pirates did not invade the Elisa clan’s territory from other directions, it was likely that the experts of the clan were still unaware of the situation.
At the thought of this, the female Bloodian’s heart was in a mess. In any case, they could only respond effectively once they understood the situation.
When this female Bloodian spoke, the other Bloodians frowned. She tied them to the Elisa clan’s chariot with just a few words, expressing their willingness to advance and retreat alongside the Elisa clan. No Bloodian who was not from the Elisa clan wanted to sacrifice themselves for them.
“Clear us out? Why don’t you take a look at how many men we have! Brothers, the treasures in the blood pool must be extraordinary. Let’s explore the Bloodians’ sacred space. At most, we’ll stay away from the Scarlet Territory in the future. The further away we are from the Scarlet Territory, the better the price we could get for those blood-type spiritual ingredients!”
Having said that, the star pirates started to attack rapidly. Apart from the people from Elisa’s clan, various other Bloodian clans retreated.
Upon seeing this, the female Elisa member said in panic, “You came to my clan’s territory to share the blood tide in our blood pool, so you have the duty to protect us!
“You—”
Before the woman could finish her sentence, two star pirates attacked her. The female Bloodian hurriedly defended herself, but her left shoulder was smashed into pieces by the star pirate’s attack, and her left hand hung limp like a noodle, swaying weakly.
Just as the female Bloodian thought that it was over, a handsome pureblood Bloodian stood in front of her and said, “Leave this to me. Inform the experts in the clan to calm down this storm caused by the star pirates as soon as possible. I have a feeling that these star pirates have an ulterior motive!”
She looked up at the tall figure of the young Bloodian in front of her, feeling as if she had seen a savior. “Thank you. My name is Elisa Helena. I have a communication fey with me. I need some time to communicate with the clan. Hold on for me. My Elisa clan will definitely express deep gratitude to you afterward!”
The corners of Lin Yuan’s mouth curled up. He was highly confident in Liu Chen and Liu Yao’s capabilities. Liu Chen and Liu Yao’s plan to organize star pirates to attack Elisa’s clan was devised by Lin Yuan.
Liu Chen and Liu Yao’s capabilities had exceeded Lin Yuan’s expectations. He did not expect them to do things so well. These star pirates would definitely lure out the experts guarding the blood pool of the Elisa clan.
The Elisa experts would assess the situation and act accordingly. If they did not come out to stop these star pirates, the latter could potentially charge all the way to the main area of their clan.
The other Bloodian clans had no intention of protecting the Elisa clan. Some members of the Bloodian clans had already retreated into the territory of the Elisa clan.
When these star pirates attacked, their intent was to take lives. Many clans had lost their members under the attacks of the star pirates. The more ruthless these star pirates were, the more isolated and vulnerable the Elisa clan became.
