2633 Beginning of All the Federations’ Migration! She had no reason to insist on only remaining as the Dark Continent and Sand Island Continent’s ruler.
There might be a deeper meaning to Lin Yuan placing Di Wanmi by her side!
At that moment, Su Yiren suddenly pivoted her ambition to only hoping that the Dark Continent could prosper and thrive while she remained by Lin Yuan’s side.
This was firstly because Su Yiren looked forward to seeing the beautiful world beyond the main world.
But it was also because the rewards and protection she could obtain by remaining by Lin Yuan’s side would be the best way to bring prosperity to the Sand Island Continent and Dark Continent!
There was no one who was without selfish desires. Su Yiren had contracted the Absolute Love Poppy, and it allowed her to have a deeper-than-normal understanding of human nature.
Su Yiren never suppressed or went against the expression of human nature.
This was why she knew that she needed to be more grateful for her current position.
She had been going in the wrong direction all this time. She intended to get in contact with Lin Yuan once the Major Federation Union meeting was over.
From now on, Su Yiren intended to pivot away from trying to develop the Dark Continent and Sand Island Continent to only try to nurture them properly.
The crisis of dead spirits would cause the entire main world to change, and all the major factions would be reshuffled.
Given that the Dark Continent and Sand Island Continent were directly under Lin Yuan’s control, they would definitely be able to develop better than the other continents. The development of the Startling Lines Continent had proved that.
While Su Yiren was deep in thought, the other heads of federations were still all shocked by what the Moon Empress said.
But they knew there was no way the Moon Empress was lying. She would never lie at such a moment just to appease the crowd because such a lie could be exposed extremely easily!
The federation representatives all held their breaths as they waited for the Moon Empress to continue speaking.
“I don’t know when Tower Canon’s Sleeper’s Revival plan will exactly begin, but according to the information we’ve obtained, it should be within the next month! The situation is of the highest urgency, and I took out the metal-type stone board to show that the Radiance Federation is prepared and to give you confidence.”
Before the Moon Empress could finish speaking, the atmosphere of the meeting became chaotic.
Everyone was fixated on the first part of what the Moon Empress said. The Sleeper’s Revival would begin in the next month or two. This did not give them enough time to prepare at all!
Everyone present could tell that the Moon Empress wanted the major federations to relocate nearer to the Radiance Federation.
Ignoring the fact that they would forsake their historical roots, the key issue was that they couldn’t finish the migration within just a month or two, even if they wished to.
A sense of hopelessness descended on the federation representatives.
The Moon Empress had expected such a reaction from her words. She coughed and knocked on the table. This attracted the attention of all the federation representatives, and the Moon Empress said solemnly, “I wanted to establish the Major Federation Union because of my goal to safeguard the authority of every human federation. The creed of the Major Federation Union is to not bow or give up in the face of a crisis.
“After the meeting, every federation will receive a marked-out position. All you need to do is move your citizens to that position, and Island Whales will appear to take you to the vicinity of the Radiance Federation!
“This is an early gesture of sincerity of the Radiance Federation to show our thanks for your hard work and tenacity during the process of this crisis!”
The Moon Empress’ words altered the atmosphere of hopelessness. If the Moon Empress’ words were true, the migration would be possible.
But just how many Island Whales were necessary to achieve this? Did the Radiance Federation have so many Island Whales at their disposal?
As one of the three major federations, the Radiance Federation was extremely powerful. This was unquestionable.
Nonetheless, dispatching 10,000 Island Whales at once was unbelievable!
But any less and there would not be enough to handle the migration. The federation representatives had their suspicions, but none of them dared to doubt the Moon Empress’ words now.
The Radiance Federation’s formidability had been cemented. There was no need for them to cooperate with the Freedom Federation and Azure Federation. It was already the core of the Major Federation Union!
The Moon Empress also noticed this. She knew she did not need to continue bolstering support for the Radiance Federation.
Thus, she decided to give these federation representatives some confidence. “I want to ask all of you a question. Do you know of the faction that controls the sea clans?”
The Moon Empress’ question caused the federation representatives to begin pondering.
The powerful federations had the right to interact and trade with sea clans, but the federations without Class 5 Creation Masters dared not approach the sea.
Many federations had Class 4 Creation Masters who did their best to build up their fleets and nurture Island Whales in the hopes of trading with other federations, only to fail.
The humans in the sea had to encounter much more danger than the humans on land.
The Eight Clans of Sea Emperors sent expert after expert to take control of different parts of the sea.
But since the Moon Empress asked this question, it meant that the Eight Clans of Sea Emperors were not the true rulers of the sea.
The Moon Empress’ question blindsided many federation representatives. There were still many federation representatives who used the Eight Clans of Sea Emperors as their answer.
Those who did know who the true ruler of the sea was instinctively looked at the Mirror God and God of Fools, as well as the two leaders of aristocratic families from the Azure Federation. These four were the only ones present who could answer the Moon Empress’ question best.
The Mirror God and God of Fools represented the Freedom Federation and had succumbed to the Radiance Federation, putting them under the Moon Empress’ control. But this did not mean they had lost all of their previous scheming intentions.
When the Mirror God and God of Fools addressed the Azure Federation, they continued acting as arrogant as they always did.
After meeting eyes with the Mirror God and God of Fools, the two heads of families from the Azure Federation looked away.
It was then that the Mirror God said, “The true ruler of the seas is the Vast Sea Labyrinth.”
At first, the Mirror God also wanted to mention that the Moon Empress could only allocate so many of the Island Whales because of the Vast Sea Labyrinth. But he eventually decided to keep his mouth shut and supplied no more information besides the answer to the Moon Empress’ question.
Now that their positions had changed, the Mirror God knew to stay meek. This applied to the God of Fools as well. The two of them could not afford to go against the oath they had sworn to the Moon Empress. Moreover, after they swore their oath, the Moon Empress now controlled their souls. The two of them were completely helpless against her.
Although the two of them were members of royalty in name, they were actually no different from the Moon Empress’ servants.
But luckily, they still had their power. There was a lot that they would be able to do during the impending disaster on the main world. During the long war against the dead spirits, the two of them would have the chance to change the way that the Moon Empress saw them.
After hearing the Mirror God’s response, the federation representatives who had never heard of the Vast Sea Labyrinth before made a note of that name. They were all wondering why the Moon Empress had asked such a question!
The Moon Empress took over the conversation and said, “That’s right. The Vast Sea Labyrinth is the ruler of the seas! The Vast Sea Labyrinth will gather all the Island Whales in the sea and use them to migrate the federations’ citizens. Other oceanic feys can also be used as transport tools.
“No one will be left behind if you can arrive at the marked-out position. This is a strategy that the Radiance Federation has already discussed with the Vast Sea Labyrinth. They have given us their assurance!”
The Moon Empress’ words gave all the factions renewed confidence. They all felt indebted to the Radiance Federation now as well.
The Freedom Federation had previously worked with Tower Canon to try to eliminate the human race. On the other hand, the Radiance Federation and Vast Sea Labyrinth were working together for the sake of the entire human race. What a difference this was!
Many federation representatives began expressing their gratitude to the Moon Empress.
The Moon Empress did not give them much time to express their thanks. She slammed her hand down on the table and said sternly, “Usually, we would be distributing the responsibilities of the Major Federation Union now. But it’s clear that no one will be able to focus on this now. Why don’t we do a cursory delegation of responsibilities for now? Go back and send out the news so you can make the preparations for the migration.”
Once the Moon Empress was done speaking, she instructed the two servants at the door to open it as a sign the federation experts could leave now.
The Moon Empress’ action once again won over the respect of the federation experts. Many matters should be discussed during the first Major Federation Union meeting, but it would take at least three days and nights to finish discussing all of them.
But given the emergency at hand, none of the federation experts wanted to waste this time.
If the disaster of dead spirits began earlier than expected, the three days would cost the lives of millions of citizens.
The Radiance Federation’s defenses had been fully set up, making them the human federation with the least worries.
Yet, they were still willing to think of the other federations.
Initially, the Moon Empress planned to mention the Heavenly Family Cottage. However, she reconsidered after witnessing the confusion among the federation representatives as the Mirror God referred to the Vast Sea Labyrinth. She realized that federations with only Class 4 Creation Masters, unfamiliar with the Vast Sea Labyrinth, likely wouldn’t know about the Heavenly Family Cottage either. So, bringing it up seemed pointless.
Revealing too much to the federations could diminish their caution and lead to unjustified optimism, which wouldn’t be favorable.
With a soft sigh, the Moon Empress acknowledged she had already done her best to address this crisis. The outcome now rested on these federations’ own abilities.
The two heads of aristocratic families from the Azure Federation present at the Radiance Federation were deliberating on a decision. The question arose: Should they elevate the Radiance Federation’s status?
Notably, the Moon Empress hadn’t proposed ranking the federations, hinting at her reluctance to establish a hierarchy within the Major Federation Union.
Concluding the meeting swiftly after outlining the impending disaster, the Moon Empress left the heads of aristocratic families feeling ashamed. They realized the Azure Federation wouldn’t have made such a choice in the Radiance Federation’s position.
Interestingly, these two leaders were the most opposed to placing the Azure Federation under the Radiance Federation.
At this moment, both of their opinions had changed. The Azure Federation was aware of Vast Sea Labyrinth but had never been able to collaborate with them.
If the situation was as critical as the Moon Empress had described, it would be impossible for the Azure Federation to fend off the disaster by remaining where they currently were. Their only option would be to migrate!
The Azure Federation would also need help from the Vast Sea Labyrinth’s Island Whales in order to complete the migration.
These two heads of aristocratic families intended to tell the others about this when they returned so they could make a collective decision.
... The Moon Empress immediately felt her tightly wound nerves relax once the Major Federation Union meeting was over.
However, the tasks related to the migration of the federations would be extremely laborious and problematic.
Firstly, the Radiance Federation did not have enough space to house so many citizens from other factions.
Even if they did, the Moon Empress could not allow them to settle down permanently in the Radiance Federation as this would encroach into the rights and resources of the Radiance citizens!
The closest continent to the Radiance Federation was the Startling Lines Continent.
The Startling Lines Continent was under Lin Yuan’s control. Given the Moon Empress’ understanding of Lin Yuan, she believed he would not be willing to ruin the environment of a continent he had taken over.
The Moon Empress intended to discuss with Lin Yuan where they could settle down these citizens from other federations.
Others saw her as the Radiance Federation’s decision-maker, but she needed to consult Lin Yuan when it came to making pivotal decisions.
This was because 90% of the Radiance Federation’s strength now came from Lin Yuan.
... After the Major Federation Union meeting ended, Su Yiren did not stay in the Radiance Federation.
She was now the ruler of the Dark Continent and Sand Island Continent. She had her own responsibilities to see through and arrange the migration of the Dark and Sand Island citizens.
While other federations might view the migration negatively, for the Sand Island citizens, it meant moving to a better environment. This would be great news for them!
The sea next to the Dark Continent had numerous harbors, so the migration process would be very simple.
But the Sand Island Continent was not bordered by the sea. The Sand Island citizens would have to move to the neighboring Spirit Mother Federation first before leaving via the Spirit Mother Federation’s harbor!
Su Yiren decided to use her relationship with Bu Po to strike up a conversation with the Spirit Mother.
She could meet the Spirit Mother’s requests. The Spirit Mother citizens would leave first before the Sand Island citizens.
However, she was worried that the Spirit Mother would try to pull some tricks.
But using her link to Bu Po, her communication with the Spirit Mother would go much more smoothly than if she did not have this connection.
Su Yiren called Lin Yuan before leaving the Radiance Federation. She was used to communicating with Lin Yuan through the Thoughts Letter Paper. But this time, she felt that calling would be more formal.
At that moment, Su Yiren felt both clear-headed and nervous. She only hoped that her previous ambitions would not affect the way that Lin Yuan saw her!
